Panino Rustico was a recommendation from a friend in the neighborhood. It must be a popular takeaway spot because I was the only one in there on a Thursday evening around 5pm in January. A few patrons came for pickups. The girls behind the counter are very nice. I felt the sandwich was just okay. I think it was a cold sandwich and I was expecting hot? Warm? Panini gets put in a press and cooks it ? I might be misinformed. I would try again if I was in the neighborhood. I don't think there are many places left to eat on that side of AVe N.

Great quality tasty food, highly recommend!! Lots of options too many too choose and everything is good !!

    How cute!!

I love this place!! I can't explain how much I loved that they stayed open during the quarantine it was my saving food grace. I always seem to order the burrata appetizer the A9, the truffle oil one (there are two), it is so incredibly delicious I am in love with this appetizer. For actual Panini's I usually go for their ham and Swiss with lettuce and avocado or I'll get a chicken, bacon and cheese kind of panini. No matter what panini I order I always make sure to order a side of their PESTO!!!!! Holy sh*t is it so delicious. I always tell myself to order as much as I can because I could eat it on anything. I also always order an unsweetened Iced Tea or Green tea and add my own honey. Pretty tasty and a nice pick me up through my day. If you order from here try to call and ask for delivery instead of using a food delivery app (even thought they are on it), it saves them some money and it's a local spot so support local!

Panino Rustico is by FAR one of the best restaurants I've ever had the pleasure to dine at. Loved everything about this place which provides much more than simply quality food. The aesthetic & color scheme of the storefront are unique which stands out and catches the eye. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming! The menu is extensive, but they were willing to answer our questions & guide us through their favorites. I am a huge fan of restaurants with plenty of options, as it leaves me always wanting to come back to try something new. I ordered a savory crepe and my friend ordered one of their paninis sandwiches. When I say this was the best crepe I've ever had, I'm not being hyperbolic. It was BOMB! The crepe was cooked perfectly with great texture and so much flavor from the turkey + sauce. I stole a bite of my friends sandwich while he stepped away from the table...it was so good I wanted to order one myself! Gives me a feeling every panini there is worth trying with such a variety of ingredients and combinations they offer. I ordered a mocha coffee which was perfect to start the day and wash everything down, but I was left with a bit of a sweet tooth after my crepe....so I ordered a cannoli and 7 layer rainbow cake. The cannoli was executed very well & was stuffed to the brim with filling. The 7 layer cake wasn't up my alley, but I did enjoy the crumble on top! All in all, I have nothing but great things to say about Panino Rustico and am excited to see their brand growing across NY. Go support them & try to tackle their menu! Trust me, you'll become a regular in no time.

Love this place. Came with my bestie for her bday a week ago and I'm already back!!!! I had the sausage egg and cheese on a wrap and it was amazing!!! So I'm having it again. The Nutella crepe was also delicious. I'm going to try there canoli's as well. Such a cute mom and pop shop right in mill basin. Staff is friendly, service is amazing and the restaurant is CLEAN double plus!!! Returning happy customer!

P18 prosciutto with mozzarella and tomato minus the basil pesto and caramel iced latte .. amazing!!

I'm regret not trying this place sooner. I've passed by many times but never stopped in. This place is absolutely amazing. The staff is super friendly and the food is always on point. Fresh high-quality ingredients. But the coffee, out of this world. I get the caramel latte or the caramel cappuccino and it never disappoints. You have got to give this place a try. You will never be the same. I got everyone in the office hooked.. they love this place, we order at least once a week.

Amazing panini. Big enough for us to share. The flavors were so good! Service was great. The staff greeted us, took order quick and food came right out. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. Very clean space

Always the best, from their apps/ salads/ paninis/ drinks to their service. I'm so addicted to panino that I spent my 30th bday lunch here over anywhere else! Thank you to the owner who sent out bday desserts- you don't get this kind of gestures anymore #PaninoForevs

    P20 (grilled chicken pesto panini)

Panini ($15) was really filling and had decent amount of chicken but was a little dry and could use a little more seasoning. You can definitely taste the pesto and mozzarella was melted perfectly. The panini was still crispy on the outside. The Nutella crepe ($8.50) was okay - they kind of just tossed the blueberries in at the end and some of them were really soggy. Crepe would do with less blueberries. The crepe itself is really good and the Nutella wasn't overpowering. Lemonade ($3 for large) was refreshing (well balanced between sourness and sweetness). I ordered from Ubereats and total was $40 (including tip). Seems a little pricey but it should be less expensive if you order in store or for pickup.

Creperie on Ludlow St came up in my search and we happened to be down that way on Sunday. I'm also a huge ice cream and gelato fan, but husband is lactose intolerant so he prefers non-dairy. Last year we discovered the amazing vegan ice cream at Orchard Grocery, but I wanted the real thing this trip and he apparently hadn't wanted a frozen treat at all so wouldn't do Orchard Grocer for himself and a different place for me. Happy medium? Share a good crêpe! We found it at Crêperie. SO many choices, many similar to ones we loved in France. Extensive selection, but it didn't take long to decide on the apple-walnut-caramel crêpe to share, costing not much more than 2 ice creams. We watched the lone young man as he poured batter onto the round griddle to just the perfect thinness; as he expertly flipped it; as he loaded on plenty of apple compote, plenty of walnuts, and gently squeezed caramel sauce. Then he folded it into a neat rectangle, scooped it into an exactly the same size pan, flipped the whole thing over onto another griddle and left it to heat while he made a crêpe for the person behind us. At exactly the right moment (was he watching the clock? or maybe he's just THAT good!), he flipped it over, slid the crêpe onto a plate, artistically drizzled more caramel sauce on top and then gently shook some powdered sugar over it. Handed me 2 forks and knives and we sat on stools at the counter for our Sunday afternoon treat! Excellent! They have several savory crêpes (in Paris, those were usually buckwheat crêpes called galettes) and many sweet ones. Unfortunately it's more of a takeout place, with just the few stools at a counter inside, and a couple of small tables outside. I'm still looking for a genuine Parisian-style restaurant with a good selection of galettes and crêpes - but this was a great find and I definitely recommend it to you!

It would not have been such an inconvenience if it wasn't raining and there was no place to stand for 2 hours. I hopped back on the subway as my only option as I was hungry, cold and wet. After taking the wrong direction to Marcy Ave and getting back on track decided to come back. Got here and asked for the NY Cheesecake crepe with Carmel instead of chocolate and he said he has to CHARGE me for Carmel instead of chocolate. Huh! I explained that I took the subway twice $3 each way because when I got here, the food delivery truck was outside delivering boxes and the sign said opening a 1 pm. Mind you I already said it was my second time here today when I walked in. Really!?! Terrible customer service!!!!!! I'm from out of town but yikes! I left Times Square to visit this small business in the rain. The $19 crepe was decent.

Picture this: Friday afternoon, after traipsing from Uptown to BedStuy to get a color correction (thank you, Judith Essien!), I take a stroll along Macon and find this gem of a place. The literal definition of shabby chic in the interior, and just warm and cozy the minute you walk in. I am greeted by the most lovely server (Aziz? I tried looking for him later to get his name, but I'm sure he's West African like me). I ordered Crepe 31 (Smoked salmon, spinach, tomatoes, Swiss cheese and bechamel sauce) of the SPICY variety (they will ask you how spicy you want it); listen I was raised to love scotch bonnets, so I wanted this thing spicy and it was the best!!! What a great balance of creamy, spicy and savory! There's a plethora of crepe options, so I will definitely be back to try the other flavors! Also ordered the Bissap (shout out to the diaspora because this is Zobo in Naija, Sobolo in Ghana, and Sorrel in Jamaica) and it was everything!!! The right amount of tartness and spice. I also highly recommend the turmeric smoothie and the raisin croissant (they warmed it so it was lovely)!!!! I'm coming back next week to try their matcha options and more crepes!
