Towels are small, only one per person, and faded/ threadbare well beyond their lifespan. The St Julian "sparkling juice" (at a 500% markup) was absolutely disgusting. We took 2 sips and left the bottle behind. The "eternal rose" they sell is a cheap looking embarrassment. Then, to finish it off, the shower soap is the equivalent of Dial hand soap. It's a very cool concept that with a few quality improvements could be amazing. This, however, was a swing and a miss. I am SO disappointed. read more

Relaxation in a time of COVID, Oasis Hot Tub Gardens is doing it right! First off, the general set up of the biz itself lends itself nicely to social distancing as each room is private. Outdoor rooms are particularly good for ventilation. The rooms have always been thoroughly cleaned before and after guests but you can tell they're particularly careful right now. Everything felt exactly the same save for the fact that the blow dryers were removed from the bathrooms and the front desk staff has plexiglass up now. They also now have an online scheduling system which is so convenient. My husband and I enjoyed our last visit a couple of weeks ago so much we just scheduled another 90 minute visit in the "Japan" room for tonight and I can't wait! read more

Been coming here for some time and just love how comfortable I feel here. The first time I was here, to be honest, I felt concerned over the possible "ick factor". But that quickly dissipated once I saw our hot tub room. Very clean. The soak was made extra relaxing by a few lavendar spa fragrances I bought at the front desk. Each room has its own shower for quick rinse before and after. The final thing that sold me - clean restrooms! Our first time here and we LOVED it! 4 of us did the Casablanca tub for one hour with two water scents and a bottle of sparkling juice package (can also be purchased individually when checking in). There were several drinks to purchase and several package choices. The room and bathrooms were very clean. The Casablanca room had a single shower with shower gel, bench, wall hooks, mirror, speaker system with Pandora channels and Bluetooth capabilities and music could be 0 to 10 levels and the speaker was next to the hot tub between the jet buttons that were easily accessible from the tub. You get one towel per person (I'm sure you can ask for more or pay for extra?), but you can also bring your own if you wish. There was a water dispenser and swim suit dryer with plastic bags available in the hallway outside our room by the lobby. Bathrooms were conveniently located as well. The service was good and friendly, check in was very easy. Theming was fun and nice! Highly liked the outdoor room and will be back. Rules - no smoking cannabis or tobacco products when inside the tubs or on premises, no drinking alcohol on premises, etc. The usual hot tub rules. Went back to Oasis Hot Tub Gardens with the family today! We had five adults and five kids. We used the covered outdoor tub and it was awesome!! I wrote in my reservation that we would like some tub toys for the kids and they were waiting in our room for us when we arrived! The room was very clean and nice! There was plenty of room for all of us. The kids were able to swim and jump around, they had a blast! Everyone was very kind to us and helpful with anything we needed. We booked it for two hours which was a long time, next time we may only do one! Although it was nice not to feel rushed at all. We will definitely be back again. I recommend everyone do the rewards program with the cash app! I'm almost halfway to earning a free hour with just one visit! Very impressed with this place. I kid you not, all of the rooms were full and customers were shuffling in and out. It reminded me of an Americanized Scandinavian spa experience - something the Finnish would do - minus the birch branches and rustic flare. The experience is $45 per hour/per room. So, if you're sharing the experience with three other friends, you're looking at $11ish/head. I admit that it was more expensive than I expected but its not like I'm renting hot tubs every day or am fluent in this pricing structure. The room was clean and decorated in a fun tropical vibe. Each room has a small open dressing section with a shower. The rooms also feature speaker capabilities that can be connected with your phone to set the background music. Is alcohol allowed in these rooms? I could see a bottle of wine and some snacks fitting in well with a two hour rental and a group of friends. Yes please! First time visit, on a weekday for 90 minutes. Added the St Julian's special. Facility and the indoor room (Thunder Bay) were very clean and nice. Friendly staff. We had a great time. It was so relaxing. Enjoyed the in room music selections. 90 minutes ended up being more then enough hot tub time but allowed us plenty of time for showering, changing, & relaxing, and to play around with the music selections. Since I'm experiencing my first Michigan winter, I've been given the advice that I should pick up a winter activity & I think I've found it - hot tubbing at Oasis. That counts right?! We knew that we wanted to avoid post-game traffic and Oasis is conveniently located about 20 minutes south (walking) of the stadium. So, we made reservations in advance (highly recommended - this place is really busy!) For 4 people for 90 minutes (8:30p-10pm), it was ~$104. It would've been cheaper WAY if we went AT 5pm (~$60), but s'all good! The hot tub rooms are all themed and we ended up in Singapore! Loved that it was outdoors because a hot hot tub is the perfect backdrop for a cold 30 degree evening. My goal now is to come back here when it's snowing. As other reviews said, bring an adapter if you have a newer phone so you can hook your music up! They'll remind you that no alcohol is allowed & not to bring glass or food. But, they don't check your bags. I was impressed by how clean it was given how busy this place is. I did come out smelling profusely chlorine-like BUT I'd much rather be clean. 294/365 read more

I am a fan of Oasis and it is one of my favorite local escapes. Let me tell you what. I do an hour and a half reservation 90% of the time because then you don't notice as much when you get the call to start wrapping up your visit. The hot tub areas are always clean and I have NEVER walked into a room that was not ready for me. The private showering areas in each room are perfect for prepping and finishing your visit. Each room also has it's own sound system so that you can hook up your phone or MP3 player and listen to your very own sounds, but if you lack these, you can play satellite radio through their system as well. You cannot really hear other visitors unless they are very, very loud. It is the perfect chill and unwind spot. And to top it all off, they leave you little Andes mints! I love those. Hot damn! Jacob and I treated ourselves to an hour and a half soak at Oasis in January. We've been reminiscing and yearning to go back ever since. I made a phone reservation for the Aleutian, a moderately-closed room where the windows were open as well as the roof. They required a credit card to reserve the room. When we checked in, I was hesitant about the room because it was -1F that day but the check-in attendant assured me this was one of their most popular rooms and the water is plenty warm to offset the cool breeze. We were escorted to our room promptly after check-in and given a run-down about our visit. Radio, check. Shower, check. Towels, check. Don't slip on the ice, check. We changed into swimsuits and tip-toed out to our tub. It was a cold, short walk but once in the tub, we were transported to a warm, tropical place. We basically kept our entire bodies (up to our ears) in the water. It was fun dipping my head in the water and feeling my frozen hair just a few minutes later. The soak was relaxing and enjoyable. I was done/bored after an hour and 10 minutes, so I jumped out and took a shower. The attendant gave us a 12-minute call, then Jake jumped out and showered. My only advice to new visitors (who wear swimsuits *ahem*) is to remember to bring a plastic bag to put your wet suits into. We didn't think about this and had to put them back into our duffel bag soaking wet. Wah wah. Oasis is a super-comfortable place with an original business idea. Came here for a relaxing night with my boyfriend. The atmosphere and set up were pretty nice. We were in the outdoor Singapore room. We were having a nice time until a couple occupied the room next to ours and proceeded to play R&B music at a very loud volume. It was so loud that we could hear it over the jets of the hot tub and our own music. It is my assumption that these people brought their own speaker, as our music was not nearly as loud. We called in a complaint to the front desk, and they said they would call and ask them to turn it down. After that, we heard the people next door shouting profanities, notably "shut the f*** up". Needless to say this really took away from the relaxing. We did not really feel safe or comfortable after that so we decided to leave. This could have been a really nice experience! It is unfortunate that some people are this inconsiderate and ruin experiences for the rest of us. My suggestion to the business is to have a policy not allowing personal speakers to be brought in, so as not to disturb other guests. Otherwise, our experience was pretty good. We did find the water to be a bit hot after a while and did not see a way to adjust the temperature. read more

I have been to Oasis more times than I can remember. 10 years ago, I used to come with my closest group of friends to have something to do away from Ypsi and be in Ann Arbor. Five years ago, I would come after work or football practice to relax. Now I go with friends to reminisce about what we used to do when we were younger. This is a great place to relax, the hot tubs are always clean. The staff is kind. I wish alcohol was allowed, but I can see how that could present issues, trash, or health risks. I enjoyed this place. It's a great place to at least pretend you are getting away... Overall, staff was friendly and everything seemed very clean. I have been to the Kalamazoo location and it was definitely comparable (great experience there also). They now offer scents that you can add to your hot tub for about a dollar. There is an iPod/mp3 dock so that you may listen to your own selections or use their system of stations if you like. They give a phone call whe you have 12 minutes remaining (I still prefer a timer or chime or anything other than an annoying phone ringing, but whatever) or asking if you'd like to purchase more time. Rates vary, but I paid $39 for an hour on a Sunday... I did not have a reservation and was offered an outdoor tub. The tub was great, beautiful room (each room is themed, I had Vancouver). However, there were ants everywhere. The large, black, scary carpenter ones! I get it, outdoor (basically it is an actual room, just without a rooftop), but it is just something to consider if you don't care for wildlife (I.e. call ahead to reserve an indoor tub). It can be a tad hard to relax if you are prissy like me and have to keep wondering if every tickle from a drop of water may be an ant on you! I also wasnt amused by the bird feeders within the area. Feeding birds is cool and all, but I don't exactly want them flying around in my personal space, potentially leaving droppings. Thankfully, none did. Other than that everything was great and I plan on returning, especially now that I know they have a punch card system in which you can earn an hour of free time. read more

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a polite crew that after checking us in, offered us beverages snd directed us to "Japan", our scheduled experience. Like many of the rooms you enter into a changing room with a shower, then a door leads to the outer private-garden where our clean hot tub awaited us. We didn't know what to expect so I was surprised they had the changing area and shower in the tub area. The only issue is you are being told you have an hour but you don't because it seems you have to be out of the room altogether in that hour, showered and changed. My friend went out 5 minutes before me so I could change and there were 2 people waiting right outside the door with cleaning supplies both when she left and when I left. Rude and intrusive. Have people checkout at the front desk and then send the staff in. We were not late leaving the room and why are we paying for time to shower and change anyway?? They need to be more upfront with their policies because I read through their website and they clearly do not explain that they are charging you for hot tub time you can't use. The lack of transparency seems pretty intentional, which rubs me the wrong way. An hour should mean an hour and then give people a few minutes to change. They are clearly scheduling appointments too close together. This is not how a well managed place operates or treats customers. Because we had never been I just assumed there was a locker room away from the hot tub rooms. They also called more than once. Looking at the reviews, I can see we are the only ones who had an issue with feeling rushed. I have tried to make a reservation and I called after being put on hold several times, and having the most rudest representative answer the phone because the line was static he which I had no control over she could not hear me could not find me then insisted that I had made reservations wants to go in The Grand Rapids location which I've never done and I'm not sure how she proceeded to look me up so she's never even gotten my phone number so if you tried to get my phone number she heard way too many digits and was so impatient and rude and this threw me on hold and just the audacity and the lack of care I can't believe this company is actually still conducting business. How do you have reservations with somebody so rude running your phones and I've never been here. They were open until 1:00 AM which was perfect for a relaxing night after work, and they were able to squeeze me in at the last second (because I didn't know it was apt only). They have an AUX cord so you can plug in your phone and listen to your music by the hot tub, they have little fragrance pods you can purchase for $1 and drinks as well. Staff was friendly. I do wish they explained a few things; for example, you can connect your iPhone to their music by you have to have an aux cord which I didn't know so I couldn't do that. Also, be aware of the time you enter, I entered at 8:58, I booked 1.5 hours and they called our hot tub room and told us our time will be up at 10:12; of course I sorted that out. So be aware so you don't get cheated of time. All in all it's a great experience with friends and couples. It's very clean and super relaxing. I will be coming back for sure! read more

For the longest time I wanted to check this place out, but never got around to it due to the distance. Well silly me. I should never have let the distance stop me from visiting this wonderful oasis of paradise. After getting sick and tired of this cold weather we decided to make an appointment to visit the oasis hot tub garden. I have thoroughly read the reviews and stock their website. However the reviews really don't put into words how relaxing and enjoyable the experiences. I thought to myself "how can sitting in a hot tub be that great?" But it really is. I completely recommend getting an outside hot tub. It is so amazing to be sitting outside in 10° weather while it's snowing but be in 102° water. We did an hour long session in the British Isles room and for us that was long enough. I know other felt that 1.5 hours was better suited but I get bored quickly. As other yelpers have stated the front desk gives you a ring at the 12 min mark and you have that time to shower, dress and get to the front desk. For added to touched they offer water, sparking juices and Nantucket Nectars drinks. You can also add on a scent to your tub, we opted out of that. They provide you with two bath towels, shower soap and two Andes mints (love those!). We brought along a large beach towel for the floor because it gets very slippery, flip flips and robes. You could probably get away with skipping those in the summer. This place was worth every pretty penny we spent ($50) because we left feeling like we were floating. read more
