Horrible costumer service: I asked for the manager and they bring a regular work that wouldn't even help. I felt like I was back in Uzbekistan where human right doesn't work. I wanted to buy eggplant caviar and I was smelling the plastic jar to see if it was fresh because last time I bought it was stale. Instead one of the works made comments and when I told him I was buying for myself he cursed in his language which I knew what it means. When I called the manager he was on his side. Very rude and disrespectful to costumers. I don't recommend anyone to go to this store. read more

I do not know where one star reviews came from... Every time I shop here I have a wonderful experience. Very clean, very well organized place. Selection of products is very impressive too: fresh produce, huge variety of delicious take out dishes, etc. Staff is always super nice and helpful. Great supermarket, avoid the food This supermarket is extremely cultural! It has your standard supermarket fare, but it also has a variety of international goods (like white chocolate pistachio bars! And black current juice from Sweden!) the downer is that this place really should not have a food bar (which you self serve and you bring it to the cashier). I wanted to grab a quick bite from here, but then was disgusted by the flies that were flying on the food. The front doors were open to a busy street so god knows how much dust is on the food :(. The food looks good but I didn't want to try in fear of getting sick. Love it or dump it- I'd come to buy their packaged goods but I would definitely stay away from the food bar!!! read more

If you are not Russian or European please don't step inside. They make you feel like the foreigner for stepping into their establishment. The staff will stare at you, and we purchase ready to eat food and we forgot to get something else and went back in, staff member in front of everyone demand we pay first before we eat and we explained we paid and demanded we show the receipt, once we did proving we paid, staff member didn't apologize for embarrassing us, and just walked away. I love the selection of fresh food. They have also a great variety of olives. The Uzbeki bread they make there it is amazing.

Interesting Eastern European/ Caucuses super market in Sheepshead Bay specializing in groceries from Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and the surrounding areas. They have a large produce section and a very impressive cooked foods selection where you can grab a quick lunch to go. Biggest complaint is that the prices seemed very high. I would come here more but it's just a bit too over priced. Okay to shop local if you don't mind paying up. read more

I wanted to like this place - I really did. It's the only grocery store in the area and it has several different sections - meats, cheeses, fish, an entire room for fruits, salad bar, hot foods bar, and other goods. On the surface this place looks modern and wonderful. They have some rude staff though who ring up food, throw it in a bag and walk away. They also have some very friendly staff. Sometimes they also have NO STAFF! About half the times i've been here I had to toss my food back because the lone clerk had wandered off! This usually happens during the evening and if no one shows up for 5 minutes I just toss the food back and leave. It's a little ridiculous. There are other negatives. I see the same exact fish staring back at me from behind the fish counter every time I go here. I've gotten food from the salad bar that went absolutely rancid after two days in the fridge. I've gotten chicken from the butchers and it was clearly spoiled. In addition, the prices vary widely so watch out - one box of strawberries reads $2.50 and another box next to it in the same pile reads $4.50 read more

Not clean ( as in the food , sanitation and packaging of food ) , otherwise the store is clean with soap and water . Employers are okay , primary Uzbeks Mexicans and a little bit of everything else . Prices are too high here and lines are too long . read more

This place has 2 saving graces 1) its close so i dont have to empty my gas tank looking for parking 2) they have a pretty good selection of tea The set up is terrible. Why the hot food bar is so close to the entrance is beyond me. I understand that the food is imported but not everyone can read russian and there is barely a description. A pervious time i stupidly asked an employee what a particular item was only to be given that "this is not my department" look. The register set up is the worst thing of all. The conveyor belt doesnt work in most lanses. God forbide you dont know where to stand in line because the distance between the register and the beginning of the aisle is small (large winter jackets dont help either..one lady almost took down a whole display of fiber crackers). I visited the Oasis today for the second time and have to agree with Sohail A. The people are very friendly but both times the place was almost empty and the hot food bar looked like it had not been touched all day (and it was 2 PM in the afternoon). Some people here speak English but everyone tried to be helpful. I bought Arizona Ice Tea for a good price and thought the dried fruits and nuts looked fresh and fairly priced. The store was perfect within 3 years. We are from Uzbekistan and Definitely know real national dishes taste. We enjoyed buying all meat staff and ready to eat Uzbek cuisine like shashlik, manti from this store. It was even better than Tashkent supermarket. But sadly before new year we bought a fresh meat as usually from here , and it was Weird. Today we went there again and bought shashlik and manti. What was the upset of taste! It was very bad! Nothing like previous taste. All dishes without spicies, salt, not juicy . So we couldn't eat it and never will go there again. It is very sad . We loved this place. Be careful when you get cold cuts or meat. They cheat customers and you have to double check everything. If you ask for a 1lb of ground beef, they intentionally give you close to 1.5lbs. If you ask for 3 sausages in the cold cuts they will intentionally give you 4. Its a pretty disgusting tactic because you have to pay more for the extra produce. And they know exactly what they are doing trying to squeeze extra money out of customers. read more

Wonderful place, good service and great prices for the food, always fresh food, very clean place! They have owned bread, hot and tasty.

My experience here is meet with here or there. Not great service not all that bad of service. I love the convenience of the location its not far from where i live so i was happy to see that it was being placed there and the fact that i work late and it is occasionally (sometimes it is and sometimes its not) open 24hrs. Now I drink coffee and the biggest necessary i have next to the coffee is the milk and i bought a particular kind of milk ( almond milk with fiber and protine) for weeks sometimes 2x in a week. I go in to buy it and it was not in stock anymore. I asked someone about it and didnt have an answer for me and walked away. I love the location, i love the hours when they are open. Im not a fan of rude service or being ignored as im standing at the counter. Or im there and they switch cashiers while im standing there being rung up (please ring me up cash me out before you starting talking to each other and have long conversations). My wife went in and asked for ham at the deli section. Waited awhile for someone to help her only to be given a dissgusted look when she asked for ham and followed with in the most disgusting response " we dont serve pork" but when i went in maybe hours or a day later they have Boars Head ham in the display window. I use to like this place, specially my husband use to go there to buy traditional home made sausage "kazi" which is his favorite. But, unfortunately, last time we purchase it I found that they start to make it of meat waste like skin and cores! And it cost $20 for 2 lb. It is very disturbing to find out that providers think that they can fool costumers like that. I have been in Oasis and I was trying to pay for my stuff at the cashier's counter and there were two cashiers. One of them was serving other customer and when I came to the second cashier, he was unbelievably rude telling me that that counter is closed.
