I paid 33$ to not even have my nails for three days IT DID NOT EVEN LAST 24 hours before the color came off. I only go to Oasis now because my gel manis are always perfect! I always ask for a shoulder massage because they do such a great job. Love to grab a coffee right next door then come in for some pampering. There's street parking or spots in the back and they're always cool about tandem parking and moving cars. My normal nail salon and nail tech is on vacation so I got on Google search to try and find a highly rated place I could get into before going out of town. The owner was very sweet and nice lady. Amy(I think that was her name,if I'm not mistaken,young beautiful girl) is outstanding and gave me a perfect gail mani .She took her time and did her job very well,I was very pleased! My pedicure did some lady,her name is Stephanie,BAD pedicure,WORST experience ever! Literally just had the fastest pedicure in my life, pedicure took less than 8 minutes with almost zero attention to the cuticles,polish was applied without care. She kept pushing extra services like paraffin wax treatment and callus removal,I reminded her twice that I just wanted the basic pedicure but she kept asking me anyway. She must have been disappointed because she gave me the worst pedicure I have ever had. $70 for a 8 min pedi?For that amount I expected a professional job done!!!$70 for a manicure and pedicure plus tip?Are you kidding me?! I came here to get a fill and a pedicure, and it was alright while I was doing my pedicure, they did a decent job, but then when we were finished, on the menu it says 30 dollars for a basic pedicure and she tried to tell my sister she owed 45 because she took her calluses off without letting her know beforehand. Then when she did my fill, I showed her originally an ombré look which she spent some time on but couldn't do, i told her it was okay and just to paint it all over one color. She did this in 5 minutes and the shape was atrocious and my nails felt like there were bricks on them because of how thick. I told her very respectfully I was disappointed with how my nails came out, she couldn't do the original design and the shape was impresentable. I told her I don't think it's fair to me to pay for these when im going to have to go get them fixed and of course i'd pay for my toes and tip her still but I couldn't allow myself to pay 60. She began to give me attitude and I knew she was talking about me to her coworkers and then the lady who did my nails came up to me and yelled at me in front of everyone in the salon and said if i wasn't going to pay for my nails then she's going to cut them off. She pulled my hand and cut all the acrylics off aggressively. She had no concern for how close she was getting to my nail bed or how they looked. This was assault. $20 extra just to get gel and then as she's removing my gel the lady at the front comes over and says it's an extra charge just to remove my gels! The f**k! I got the deluxe which included a shoulder massage and when she went to do it she said it was only for 4 minutes!! Spent $80 for a pedicure and gel mani and a 4 min massage?!?! Wow. I'm bummed. I came to Oasis with excitement about the service I would receive considering it is a spa. I walked in & the absolutely lovely receptionist had me started and in a chair right away. I'm thinking... "this is awesome already." I sat down at 3:27pm & I am not kidding you when I say the woman finished my pedicure at 3:40pm. I literally got zero foot massage and when I asked her about why that was she just said "basic" and preceded to rush to finish. I sat there & assumed that because I got the basic pedicure I got no footage massage at all - which is still bizzare regardless.. but okay whatever I thought. I brushed it off. I tried engaging in conversation about the weather - the rain, etc and nothing. I swear she barely had time to glance my direction Never in my life have I gotten a pedicure that's taken 13 minutes. Even the bad ones I've had have taken longer then that. I look forward to pedicures because they are supposed to be relaxing & I do actually enjoy chatting with the person who's taking the time to indulge my feet. But nothing about this was relaxing & before I even knew what happened she was done. I literally paid 30 dollars for someone to simply paint my toes. My little sister would have done that for free. Updating my review because this place is a true hit or miss. Jasmine is fantastic & So is Ivy, but other than that, Oasis deals out very average quality service -- 3 stars worth, at least. However, the last two times I've made an appointment, I still had to wait 45+ minutes even though I arrived on time & was told there were people available. I even picked out my color and was ready to go, but wasn't called up for 45+ minutes. The receptionist wouldn't make eye contact with me and no one told me anything unless I asked, and even then, I was simply told "it should be any minute". The first time it happened, I thought maybe they were just suddenly overwhelmed. But then it happened again. A service that should have only taken 45-60 minutes kept me there, waiting, for two hours. No apologies, no discount, nothing. read more

I was here a while ago, I didn't leave a review at the time but after going to an incredible nail place today I figured wow,this place really isn't very good and it should be noted. Gel color choices were very limited and quite honestly I was treated poorly. The woman was rude,cold and all she was focused on was up selling me. It was annoying,every other comment was what else I could have had done there. It was my daughters birthday and after her mani pedi acrylic and my gels 135.00 was a bit much,esp for how I was treated.not to mention being scolded for my torn cuticle. I come here often out of convenience but regret It every time. The atmosphere is not relaxing because it's impossible to drown out the loud constant talking of the staff. The massage chairs dont work most of the time. Customer service means nothing to these people. Ive currently waited an hour to have one nail fix while other walk ins got seated before i did because their services were going to cost most. They do a mediocre job as well. Never on time. You make appointments and they don't see you ever on time I gave this place like 3 chances and every time it hasn't failed that they make you wait 30+ minutes. I love the other location they have on Magnolia always great service, the receptionists are friendly, they see you on time. I'm just bummed that they don't do acrylics at the Magnolia location but I still go to do my pedicure. Clean place, good color selection, good prices, the owner/manager (?) was very nice but the woman I got for my manicure was a little rough. I felt like she was tugging at my cuticles and any time I flinched (on two occasions she made me bleed) I was essentially blamed for having skin that was "very dry" and she did not apologize to me once AND continued to complain about my dry skin until she finished trimming my cuticles (regardless of whether or not I reacted to it). The only time she made eye contact was to ask me if I was pregnant (I am not - got forbid I rock a size 10 and be a little bloaty) and then she smiled, apologized for THAT and then was rude and spoke to me like a child after I snarkily said "yeah thanks for asking." She then spent the rest of the time talking to the Pedi technician (and was totally smiley with her) and pointed at my hands when she wanted me to do something. Rudeness. I kind of regret leaving ANY tip (the nails themselves were decent though). The woman who did my pedicure was sweet and polite - overall I noticed most of the other technicians to be the same and gave me a quick, painless Pedi. I would consider checking this place out again and see about a different mani technician. UPDATE: it's been two days and my gels are still sticky/tacky. If I go back, it'll be Pedi only. read more

The guy at the front is so nice! The technicians are all very good at their job -- my pedicures all turn out lovely. But dang! The technicians keep getting meaner and meaner each time! I won't go back again, they are simply too rude. This time the technician snapped at me over super minor things (ie not picking my feet up quick enough) and then just left at the end. I assumed I was done, waited a few minutes, and then started putting my sandals back on. She appears all the sudden to snap at me 'You better not mess those up. White is hard to fix.'. This place is ACTUALLY terrible. I got a gel manicure last week for a wedding and it came off within A WEEK (mind you gel manicures last 2-3 weeks min when done correctly/with fresh gel polish) I called the store to ask for a manager to discuss this/having them redo at least the polish portion of the three nails that came completely off while the rest were chipping- and was told they don't have a manager in until tomorrow but they can honor the issue at hand and redo the job for free. Then when I get there to have them redone suddenly the manger is there and surprise it was the guy on the phone. THEN when all is said and done they try to charge me another $15 on top of the $40 I spent for the first job beforehand. All and all terrible service and a total cash scam. I went here because the Magnolia location was booked. I will not be back. I got a mani/pedi. The woman who was doing my pedi looked sadly down at my feet and asked me if I'd like a callous remover. I politely declined. I know they do this sometimes and I'm OK with just saying no. However, throughout the course of the pedicure, she tried to upsell me no less than 3 times beyond the first inquiry. Not cool. The manicure was even worse, not in terms of upselling, but the woman who was doing it only stayed on one side of my body and SMACKED her gum (just a couple feet away from my face) the entire duration of the manicure. Also, it was relatively uncomfortable because she only stayed on my right side and had me switch out my hands (my left being across my body) rather than moving herself from right to left. I'm pregnant and wanted a peaceful experience, but unfortunately didn't find that here. Not only that, but the quality and the ambiance were not good, either. I am not a fan. read more

After my second visit here I think I'll stick to doing my own pedi from now on. pretty pricey for an otherwise run of the mill experience. If I'm dropping $40+ for a "spa" pedicure, couldn't they just humor me a bit? I mean, aromatherapy, a salt scrub, masque, even if they threw some damn rose petals in the water I might not feel like i just got rolled for a $20 service. This is the place to get a good mani/pedi spa treatment, yes you pay more, but its worth it to me. Chairs are nice with massage built-in. One bit of trivia- I would "just say no" to the callous treatment if they offer. A little alien climbs up out of the foot pool to eat off your callouses. He goes by the name of callous monster and is a third and estranged cousin of the beloved cookie monster. I'M JUST KIDDING! Seriously, its $5 for them to put the callous lotion on, and it doesn't really work too well. Most of the nail specialists are solid, since its hard for me to recall a time when I didn't like who I got. Tina is great. Sarah also great. Fav moments- the massage portion of the pedi. Hi, can I please keep that going for inifity? And beyond! Yes please. You can actually pay $10 extra for them to give you 10 more minutes of massage, which of course I did yesterday (slightly violoating my pact with myself not to go crazy in there). I've never been so torn....came for the first time today and I've never had a nail tech really nail (no pun intended) the exact shape I requested so quickly. I'm SUPER picky and I never even had to correct her she was that on point with instantly matching the shape to my picture. The only bad thing was her attitude was not the best and I've never bled so much after an acrylic manicure in my entire life!!! WTF happened!!! It was like...are you trying to kill me here! Once was horrifying enough but almost every single finger come on! (And literally zero reaction from her...I know you see I'm bleeding...probably smart to do something about it! I had to point it out.) It's actually heartbreaking because she is extremely talented but the health risk with someone that is this careless w a nail drill is absurd. My hands are in so much pain right now, but my nails (minus the cuticles) look amazing...it's crazy. So thanks Ivy, for the butchering of my fingers. And if you get the "spa treatment" mani/pedi, they'll scrub your arms and legs with sea salt, massage them with lotion and oil and wrap them up in warm towels!! ahh, blisssss.... I came in to get my nails done yesterday and was disappointed. The nail tech doing my nails cut me multiple times and the polish was applied unevenly. My nails look lumpy and uneven. Although the staff was nice, I wouldn't come here again because the nail tech didn't seem very experienced. I also asked the nail tech if she could clean up the sides because she got polish on my cuticles but it's still very sloppy. She said my nails would look better next time because she had to remove my previous set of gel x I had on which made no sense. read more

Disappointing Just started working in the neighborhood. Excited there was somewhere so close. I have 30 minutes for lunch, so made an appointment for a manicure and asked when I made the appointment if they could turn me around for a 30 minute mani. Was told yes. This was not the case. Was told I could come back end of day to get polish... I paid, was generous with my tip over 20%. When I did go back, I chose a "special" polish -not a gel- which usually costs $5 extra. Halfway through polish I was told $10. There were no signs of prices. I challenged the price, which really after the inability to do as promised seems like it should have been comped. There are other places within a 1 block radius. Told the gentleman at the front desk (owner?) If he charged me, he would lose future weekly business. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!!! Finally pulled the plug on Nail Garden after 5 years because they were absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! That place gave me anxiety trying to just keep my darn appointment! They would always give my appointment away then call and ask if that was ok??? NO!!!!! NOT OK!!!!! Oasis is AMAZING!!!!!!! Trisha and Trizzie are my 2 go-to gals there! Trisha for acrylic, Trizzie for gel + pedi Trisha is great with those new designs and shapes, fast and detailed. My nails always look great and last so long! Trizzie is amazing with gels! It's not that this place is awful...it's just way overpriced for what it is. Like many have said, it is a standard nail salon calling itself a spa in order to charge spa prices. I usually go to a small place one block over- also a basic nail salon, but at half the price. This time I walked over spontaneously and my usual place was closed. I could see this one, so I crossed the street to head over. When I saw the name Oasis, I thought it was the one on Magnolia, which I'd been to before. The prices are similar, but the treatments not as good and the ambiance is poor. I will say that my lady gave an excellent massage as part of the service, but I was also upsold a lot as well. Last gripe: I paid for a 70 minute service. I expected a 65-70 minute service. It did not quite last 50. All in all, I won't be back. If you're going to shell out this much, find a better spot. read more

I have lived in LA for 5 years and have been coming to Oasis the entire time. I've been happy with everything and continually come back. I just want to warn everyone to NOT take any of your jewelry off, even when they tell you that you are required to do so. She asked me to take my fitbit off on Sunday and I didn't want to do that and have kept it on many times before when I got my services. Unfortunately I left it behind and of course they say it isn't there. I mentioned since they required me to take it off would there be any reimbursement for it being gone. They said no and that they absolutely require people to take their jewelry off but aren't responsible for people that leave things behind. I won't go back for sure. I know it was right there on the chair and likely got swept up in the towels and is somewhere in the laundry. It seems highly unlikely someone would take it. I just didn't appreciate her attitude when I called to inquire about it. So PLEASE BEWARE when they make you take anything off like watches, fitbit or any type of jewelry because it won't be there when you go back to get it. Pretty disappointed for sure. read more

They're always really nice and sweet and we've been creating new designs every two weeks and they nailed them every time. They won me over and I'm not planning to change nail salon anytime soon. Oasis Nail Spa is a gem of a find. I walked in to get a regular manicure and they seated me in a massage chair regardless. The salon is lovely and the massage chairs offer the perfect massage! Not too strong and not too light, I was able to sit as long as I needed till my nails dried. I had a basic manicure that was excellent; the woman next to me had a deluxe mani-pedi with parafin wax that looked very luxurious that made me want to book that next. Free parking in the back and easy to find. Oasis is a true valley retreat! read more

UPDATE: Got a good gel manicure but the place itself has really gone downhill. Just seems unkempt and worn around the edges. Took a star away because this place left me a bit depressed. Had a sweet manicurist named Kim. Her quiet shyness made the language barrier even more difficult to overcome but she gave me a terrific pedicure. She told me about her additional services without overselling which makes me want to come back even more. It's not the prettiest, most soothing environment I've ever been in but it's clean and friendly. And the women who work there all have great mani/pedis themselves so I was confident while I sat there waiting for my turn in the chair. Can't believe I haven't tried this place sooner. I came here based on a suggestion from a friend who loves this place. It's near my job so I figured, why not? Ivy did my gel manicure and was very nice and accommodating but I left so disappointed in the final result. As I walked out to pay I noticed there was polish all over the skin around my nails. I mentioned this to the cashier, who said it would come off if I wash my hands. Ummmm, no. When I leave a nail salon I expect my nails to be ready to go when I'm done. There should be no other steps. The polish was also really thick and lumpy and one finger had a big chunk chipped off within a week. Another technician did my pedi and even that was mediocre. Everyone has a bad day and this may have been a one-off but I think I'll stick to my regular nail salon. read more
