We had a time estimate after FM had confirmed delivery. So I had hired a contractor to build the island. All of a sudden he wanted the unit in three days to make his final measurements! The builder was grumpy. I called the shop, it was close but another day or so. Well Leland had Erik drive for 4 hours return to get it so that my contractor would not walk! All got installed. The hood was a bit out of line. FM wanted us to pull all out and ship back? I knew it was minor so called the shop - Erik came over and adjusted it in 15 min. A year later it is perfect. Take my word, these people are as good and honest as it gets!

I thought both were going to be major issues. I thought I needed an additional pump for the hot tub. And I thought the salt cell chlorinator would need at least a new motherboard, if not a complete replacement. Jaden did about 10 minutes of poking around and told me that 1) the pump issue was simply being caused by a rock that was jammed into one of the pumps, likely from the construction stage and 2) the salt cell was not receiving power because a previous (another company) technicians rewired it to a non-functional part of my panel. So, after an hour, I had fully functioning jets in the hot tub. A functional salt cell. And he even got my pool lights working. (I had never been able to use them and had given it up). So can't recommend this company and Jaden specifically any more highly.

Most of them said they had never seen such a system and would try to fix it, but it might require jackhammering up the concrete deck to install an entirely new lighting system. But then Pool Technicians sent out Jadon, who very calmly and confidently told me that he had done the switch from fiber optic to LED on several other pools, that it should be an easy job, but that if he did run into complications, we would discuss options before taking any action. He was right: the job was easy and fast: really just one morning, no fuss and no muss, and the pool was operational again after it was refilled the next day. In addition, dealing with Stephanie in the office, and Gilbert, who did some minor tile work while the pool was empty, was great. Everyone involved seemed very focused on doing the job well and making sure I was informed and happy, and the price was in line with other proposals. I can see why Pool Technicians gets such high customer ratings, and I'm to give them my well-deserved 5-stars, too. They will be my pool repair company going forward.

I'd told them that the filter had been replaced on 2/27 and the water hadn't been on and I would have helped on any extra chemical expense. I'd told them the situation with the filter when they started. But she didn't bother asking and just left me stranded.So they behaved in a very inconsiderate and unprofessional manner. And, they misdiagnosed what was going on with a pool. If everything is simple, and they can do it their way , they're probably fine but their priority is themselves, not the customer.
