This little mom and pop nails salon is a hidden gem. If you are looking for lectury and fancy, this is not for you. I went in this nails salon a month ago. I met the friendliest nail tech ever. They spoke to me and made me feeling welcome (not much chitchat in their own language). They don't do a lot of fancy nail styles but they patiently tried their best to do the designs I like. I went to Oasis to prep my toe and finger nails before my wedding. I had a gift certificate and did nail polish only with a mani/pedi. First off, I was there for three hours...after making an appointment and coming back when they told me. Again, I wasn't even doing gel just polish. What was more bothersome than the timing, was the sanitary issues and, unfortunately, there were many. Firstly, when doing my toes, the technician took her time, but cut me. I had an infection by the end of the evening. When doing my fingers, the other technician rushed through and hardly cleaned them up (the whole point of why I was going). The biggest issue I had though was with my toe after I visited Oasis. When I went to get my nails redone at a different salon for my actual wedding, Oasis' polish was taken off my toes to reveal some type of fungal infection on my right big toe. Lucky, the other place I went to covered it up, but now that I am home from my honeymoon, my toe nail has fallen off (so sorry for the graphic pic below). There were no liners on Oasis' pedicure tubs. I am extremely disappointed since I work close to this salon, but I would not recommend coming here at all and will not again, myself. I came in with friend after having pho next door. Basic manicure is $12, pedi is 15, both is 26. I asked for callus removing. The lady started to push me with different packages. I told her I only want callus removing if possible. She said then it's $20 for only callus removing. I'm like serious?! So I chose pedi with basic callus removing which is $20. While I was choosing the color, she kept on asking if I wanna do both. I told her many times no. I don't like the business pushing like that. Their English ain't good by the way. I had a guy doing for me. He's patient with my polish. However I don't think callus removing was that thorough. That's why I have three dollars. Massage chair is all good. Their tools aren't individually packed. So hopefully they sanitized well. read more

Hands down tops any nail salon I have been to. They are affordable -- BEYOND friendly, accommodating and pretty much can do anything. Peter does such an amazing job, I really won't let anyone else do my nails. The pedicures are consistent no matter who does them and the massage chairs are amazing. Judy is my go-to girl for my eyebrows. She does an awesome job, and she even massages my forehead, temple and around my eyebrows for a few minutes.. If you've never had someone massage your temples, you're seriously missing out. They talk to you and get to know you instead of talking about you to everyone else that works there. They remember you and KEEP appointments! I can't stand it when you make an appointment for anything and you still wait 20 minutes. Highly recommended. read more

I've been to other places, but nothing beats the service and price at this place. I think I've gotten my nails done by almost everyone who has worked there, and its been VERY consistent. I even get my eyebrows waxed there too and its very affordable. They use the proper salon techniques (hey, some places just rip it off, and that's it)-- rip off the sheet and put pressure on that area so it doesn't hurt as much. In my last visit, they close at 7-- they were busy when I got there at 6:15. I basically didn't get serviced until 6:45. I wanted to get a mani, pedi and my eyebrows done, so 3 people were working on me at once! In all, I paid $39 for a spa pedicure with callous scrub, manicure, and eyebrow and upper lip waxing-- not a bad deal at all. in all, they do a very very good job. High quality products, and very friendly service. They truly do make the whole going to a salon an experience. read more

I can't believe I've never written a review for Oasis! I swear I did, but the point is, I LOVE them. I haven't been able to get my toes done in so long because of a back injury, but they still know exactly who I am: Leslie's daughter, Sami and Danielle's sister. They always ask me about work and school and everything else. They are so friendly! They are also very careful not to cut your toe nails too short or too rounded so that you don't get ingrown toe nails. I sometimes have to ask them to cut/file them shorter, and my friend likes her nails so short that she just cuts them herself and lets them do everything else because they don't want to cause the ingrown toenails. The one thing I can say that is negative, is don't go here if you're in a hurry. They really take their time with you, so sometimes it takes longer than it would at another salon. That said, if I go to a salon, I am NOT going to be rushed! I go to a salon to relax, which is why I LOVE Oasis! By the way, Thi and Lisa are my favorite ladies to do my nails. They are fabulous and they can make even MY feet look pretty! =D read more

I wish I could give this place no stars. I've been getting my nails done for years and never have I had such a horrible set. I came in today October 27th 2017 right at 3pm on my lunch. The gentleman that did my nails, firstly, told me what color I was doing, when I didn't see any color choice of nail platte. Second, when cutting my nails he didn't measure them to see if they were even, I even asked if he wanted me to put my fingers together to help him out and he said no their fine, when cutting to make the shape he didn't even file them after to shape them correctly (that's why they look aroundish and thick). Thirdly, he took his time doing my nails (one hour) I was even late to work and as you can see my nails with gel didn't even last me long a whole day. The gel burst or in other words peeled off the minute I washed my hands with warm water once I got to work. Also as seen in the picture, if visible to you all, the the paint doesn't look constantly smooth. I'm so disappointed in how my nails came out that my only tip to them is learn how to appropriately do nails. read more

The owner is a sweetheart but the second you mention an issue they turn on you. I asked for a darker coat on top of the applied polish because I didn't want to be inconsiderate and make her take it off, she was already rushing as it was, and she made a frown and said I was going to have to wait 30 minutes because she had someone else waiting. Really? On top of that, they're manicure doesn't even include massage, oil or anything. It's pathetic how they will melt and rush your service over a white women who literally needs a polish change. I'd be more concerned for my customer getting a full set and who actually waited and made no complaints. read more

I was looking for a new nail salon and a friend of mine that I work with recommend Oasis Salon & Spa. I made an appointment with Peter since she mentioned he was one of the best in the salon and always busy. I went in for a fill I ask how much 18.00 no big deal. Second time around I went in for a fill no manicure just a fill and a pedicure, it was 30.00 again no big deal. I went yesterday and got my fill done they charged me 15.00 for a fill I ask Lee why was the fill 15.00 if her sign said it was 10.99 summer special her excuse was it was the previous owner, really well then that sign should be taken down and not mislead people or honor that price. If it wasn't for Peter's work I would never go back. read more

I could've done a better job at home. I had nail polish on my skin and the gentleman that did my pedicure disappeared afterwards leaving me sitting there with tissue paper between my toes until I got up and told another staff member I needed to go. The pedicure cost $25.00, since I upgraded thinking it would be worth it. Do not upgrade. They rub some scrub and a mask, but definitely wasn't worth the extra money. On a positive note, the staff is friendly and the prices are low for most services. However, I will not be coming back and recommend you try another salon. read more

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!! Came here this past weekend because my normal place was packed out. I checked the reviews for oasis and saw that it looked like a good place. Sat down for me gel french manicure and everything started great. First layer went down great. Time for the white tips....when i pulled my hand out of the machine the polish was "wrinkly" Lisa told me that i touched the wall inside of the machine (which was impossible because the longer finger was completely untouched. The next hand goes in and I am incredible careful as to not touch anything. Same result. I was assured it would all fix it self by the end of the manicure. End result. Bubbles or wrinkles on 7 out of 10 fingers! Lisa told me to come back on Tuesday (i couldnt stay to have fixed I was already there for over an hour!) and she would redo them. Fast forward to Tuesday... Lisa tells me Peter is going to fix them... I show Peter all the problems and he tells me that there is NOTHING wrong and thats how its supposed to be.....UMMM NOOOO its not. This isnt the first time ive gotten my nails done buddy. He says....what do you want me to do....I say Fix them! Peter says but there is nothing wrong.....I'm DONE at this point. I tell him I'm disputing the charge and I leave. NEVER COMING BACK here and I highly recommend you dont. Lisa was at least nice but not wasting any more of my money here. read more

They were friendly. But my two of my nail beds were bleeding. And are very painful today. One hand nails are longer than the other. The color is pretty. But overall I am not happy with my nails. I have been there before and the guy had always done my nails and did a good job. I tend to be picky but if I am paying for acrylic nails I want them to look nice. I've been coming to this salon for about 5 years now and LOVE it. They are really nice and do a very good job. I just read a recent review that states that they are under new management. That is DEFINATELY not the case. Lee, the owner had a second shop on Mesa Verde East that she just sold which is now under new management. It was also called Oasis Salon. The reviewer must have mistaken that shop for the one on Baker Street. Don't be fooled--- it is no longer the same and the one on Baker is till Owen by the same, hardworking and sweet Lee.
