Avoid!!! These people would not stop leaving business cards on my property, but that's just the beginning of it. I called to ask them to stop because they don't even bother to walk up to my door, they just throw the business cards onto the yard. Who knows how many cards they've left that I've never even seen because the wind just blows it away. It's borderline littering. They apologized and said they can offer me 50% off a tree trimming as an apology, so they will come over and give a quote out of goodwill. As much as the cards bother me, sure, if you want to come trim a tree for dirt cheap as an apology, go ahead. Jorge is a great guy. When I called Oasis, he was polite and diligent with setting up a time to inspect the property and project. I've done two large tree projects with Oasis, and each time they have delivered their services exactly as promised. While I had no issue with the quality of the work, I was deeply disappointed by the bait and switch tactics employed by the owner (Jorge). I had three bids given by competing tree services, both who quoted $1,300 for trimming a large hedge separating my property from my neighbor. Jorge quoted $1,500 during his initial inspection but adjusted to $1,300 by the time he left. I called him at the time of making my final decision and said if he could do the job for $1,000, he would get the business (note: he knew the job as he had cut the hedge 2 years ago for $750). He agreed. Upon completion of the job he hands me a bill for $1,500!! "That's not what we agreed to Jorge!?", I said. He feigned ignorance of our phone conversation or even initially adjusting his price during the initial inspection. He claimed that his English is not so good so he may have misheard (yeah, right). He also threatened to dump the tree shavings on my lawn and take me to court. I'm not one to back down from a fight but realizing that his guys would probably not get paid (they worked their asses off), I decided to just put this behind me and have him go on his way (with payment). Basically Jorge is a liar and his license has been SUSPENDED!!! Do not trust this company. I needed to remove a tall pine tree from the front of our property so we could build a fence. I specifically told him that I needed the root removed at least 2 feet deep. Jorge said that for that service he needed to charge extra because of the machine. I agreed. Today that we are digging for the fence we discover that the root of the tree was only removed 5 inches deep. I called Jorge, at first he said he never did a job for me. Then he decided to come check it out. He claimed he never told me they would take 2 feet of the root. Now I need to pay a different company to come and remove the root. I have had Oasis Tree Service do yard clean-up for me several times now, and their service has been excellent.

I don't write many reviews, but you can thank Jorge's attitude for this. His is a dishonorable, rude, insulting, antagonizing liar. When we first reached out to them they said they would be here for the quote at 8:30am, he did not show till 9:30 and did not call or say he was going to be late. Should have seen the red flags at that point, but my wife was the one who was working with Jorge. She went over everything we needed to have trimmed up, took at least 30 minutes to go over it with him. He quoted a price of $1100. Since we were still in the process of desiding we got a couple of other quotes as a you should. We got a quote lower so we reached back out and asked if he could do it for that price, he said no he could for $900 and would be able to do it sooner. We said sure. The first cancelation was strange how it all went down. We had Jorge scheduled to work and it was going to rain that day, so he shows up out of nowhere a couple of days before and asks if he can do it that day. We said sure since we knew it was going to rain the day he was scheduled for. As he left he said he would let us know if he was oing to do it htat day. Why show up and ask can I do it, only as you leave to say I will let you know if I will be doing it. He never called us back. Red flag number 2, but at this point we still were going to move forward. Finally, the day before we could all get together to have our trees trimmed. He was scheduled for 8:30, we call the night before to confirm since he had not, start time is now 11:30am. Okay, change my plans so I can make sure the work we need done is done right. Day of the job, they show up and we start reviewing what we need done and our requirements again. In the middle I have no idea what happened to Jorge, but he lost it. He started to say this is too much work for what we are going to pay. It is to difficult for his guys and they will be confused. My wife calls to much (because he would not call or return calls). If i want them to do the job, it is now $1300. What was I supposed to do. I said I am not sure what is going on, you worked with my wife and gave her this quote, now you want to change it, that is not acceptable. This went on with him talking rude to me, then eventually me being aggressive back for him to leave my property since he was dishonorable, rude, and it not my fault he did what he did. Finally, he left and did not do a single thing. All I can say is I wish we had read reviews here first since I would not touch this guy or his company with a ten-foot pole. You can expect this from Oasis: A false quote. Workers who get confused on what they need to do (owners' words). A change price. No communication and you a rude if you try to comminate to him. You work on his time, not the other way around. Customer service where the customer is wrong no matter what. If I could give negative stars I would. If I could give 0 stars, this would be the time. The company leaves cards all over the neighborhood stating 'professional tree trimming' and other services. I called for an estimate. At the appointment time, no one showed. I had to change my work around to be able to be home to meet him (the owner Jorge). I called him back. He said, with no explanation, he can come by the next day. I said OK, giving him the benefit of the doubt. He does not show up on time, but he does show up eventually , with his son in tow. I showed him the one tree that I needed trimming, told him I just needed a very small trim so no branch will come close to the roof. Told him I really don't want to trim very much at all because I like the full look of the tree. He seemed very disinterested and after 2 minutes he gave a quote of $900. I asked him why, because my regular gardner said he would do it for $300 but just didn't get around to it yet and I did not want to wait. I thought he would explain to me why his service was more thorough, or superior in quality, or if he carries extensive insurance, or will use large lift, etc etc, or some reason to justify the higher price. He does not say a word, looks me in the eyes and laughs in my face, turns on his heels, and made a bee line back to his truck. His son looked stunned and didn't know what to do for a few seconds, and finally followed suit and left without a word. I was taken aback. Not only did this guy waste a whole bunch of time, but he also is clearly not fit to run a business. I cannot believe this company still exists. Competitor free free to enter this wide open market place, you'll have my business. On day of, he didn't show up, I called and he cancelled with no warning. Said he needed to reschedule. I made the mistake of agreeing and not immediately hiring someone else. Over a week later, he showed up with his crew, attempted to renegotiate his original estimate, said he didn't have the proper tools and then just left the job site. Total waste of time. We hired Oasis to cut back and remove some trees and stumps over 2 days. When work was supposedly completed, I had to go back and ask the crew to trim more as described on estimate. Then after they left my property, their large truck had 2 oil spots on my pavers. I tried to remove on my own, but to no avail. When we called the owner about the oil spots he didn't care and was "busy with another customer" and said "we don't provide that service." (Cleaning up after your own truck) Really??! You don't ensure you clean up after your company work vehicle that left oil on my pavers?? If you don't then you should find someone that does and cover the cost. So a forewarnings to other potential customers, their large work truck leaks oil, and workers throw a tarp under it but it's not enough and can leak through. After spending $4,000 owner didn't care to make sure customer was satisfied and ensure our property left undamaged. Bad business practices. Can't recommend to anyone for the owner's unwillingness to make it right. read more

I've got to say that I was pleased with both the initial conversation and estimate process and the job done. the entire thing took 2 days. I called Jorge for an estimate, he came by my house while I wasn't there the next day. Called me right away with the price - after a bit of haggling we agreed on something that was reasonable to what I'd paid others in the past. These guys are in my backyard right now... Without my permission. Neighbor apparently hired them to trim a tree that also overhangs my yard. When I spoke to the guy in my yard (who later said the boss is his dad), expressing concern for our own trees, that they are dropping heavy branches onto, his was very dismissive and unprofessional. I asked for his boss, and he says, "he's here, but he doesn't speak english." Gorge came by at the scheduled time yesterday, gave me the most affordable estimate for trimming our two monsters trees, and we agreed to start today. He and his crew showed up on time with all the equipment they needed.
