    Oath "sandwich" to go!!
    Erin Clarke G.

These charming young adults work so hard and are personable and efficient and friendly The restaurant is meticulously clean. There's a handbook the team refers to in order to be sure the order is exactly what you had hoped for or better. Some high school kids hang out there -- there's a nice book with football games playing and a steady stream of pick up orders streaming in and out. I always loved Oath on Straight Wharf but Oath Wellesley is a home run. We will be regulars. Oh. And of course the pizza is delicious.

Came here for their vegan cheese & the pictures of their pizzas. We got delivery, one vegan cheese pizza showed up as a plain regular cheese. Also, the crusts were not cooked properly and the toppings were extremely, extremely lacking. Not going back.

I didn't think that it was possible to ruin pizza. Oath has succeeded. Seriously unattractive and tasteless. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Dreadful!

Oath Pizza is now open at Linden Square in Wellesley. They serve up small thin crust and large slightly thicker crust craft or build your own pizzas, salads, cookies, brownies, and cold Pepsi fountain drinks and bottled drinks. The pizzas are made behind the glass counter with prebaked pizza shells, and a variety of toppings behind being baked quickly in the small belt pizza oven. I placed an order online back at my home, then headed down to Wellesley. I got the Large 14" Muffled Trushroom (online $28 plus tax) and they were just making my pizza as I arrived about 4 minutes early from my pickup time. My pizza was ready and boxed within 7 minutes. The owner thanked me for stopping by. The light and soft crisp pizza crust was topped with their house-made truffle sauce, mozzarella blend, fresh mushrooms, ricotta, and grana padano cheese. This pizza had good flavors and I enjoyed a few slices back at the vehicle with my large Bubly water. I decided to order a small dessert and placed another online order for a Chocolate Chunk Cookie Pizza ($9 plus tax-same price in-store). I watched the staff make my 7" dessert pizza, hot and fresh out of the oven. This was a bit messy and very sweet to eat which had fluffy mini crust topped with chocolate chunk cookie dough, ricotta, chocolate drizzle and powdered sugar. A scoop of Trulys coffee ice cream went very well with this hot treat.

The BEST pizza and I'm not even joking. The pizza is a little expensive but i think its worth every penny.

Loved the mushroom truffle pizza. Lots of mushrooms (most hidden under the cheese - keep looking!) Salads were very fresh.

A Hidden Gem in Wellesley…read more La Toscana's offers a lot more than its facade may suggest. Under the direction of a wonderful new chef, La Toscana's shows what elevated Italian cuisine can be like when care is emphasized from start to finish. We chose to have a milestone birthday celebration at La Toscana's because we had gone there a few weeks prior and were thoroughly impressed. We started the evening with a variety of appetizers including stuffed zucchini flowers, meatballs, and Caesar salads. The stuffed zucchini flowers were an instant favorite at the table-- hot, filled with rich, delicate ricotta, and crunchy on the outside. The meatballs were large, fluffy, perfectly seasoned, and accompanied by the elegant house marinara sauce. The Caesar salad was light and delicious with the welcome addition of sundried tomatoes. We then shared two excellent pizzas-- the margherita for the adults and a cheese for the kids. Both were notable for a crispy thin crust, perfect blend of sweet and tangy marinara, and perfectly balanced cheese. If this weren't great enough, the house-made pasta exceeded expectations. The chef makes the pasta daily and then creates the different types to order right before your very eyes-- in the window of the restaurant. With care and precision, he measures and cuts creating pappardelle, agnolotti, and tortello. Stand-out dishes at the table included the ricotta-filled agnolotti served with a decadent mushroom cream sauce. The pappardelle Bolognese was incredible with the perfect bite to the pasta and a flavorful and balanced meat sauce. The gnocchi with pesto creme is also another dish not to be missed. If you are fortunate enough to strike up a conversation with the chef, you will learn amazing insights into how he thinks about pasta and its preparation as well as his journey to Wellesley. It's a great story! We will certainly be coming back and hope to celebrate more great dinners at La Toscana's.

I ordered the Bourbon Steaktips Tortellini -- tender bourbon-marinated steak tips served over cheese tortellini in a rich truffle cream sauce with spinach and red peppers, topped with shaved parmesan and toasted garlic bread. Everything was cooked perfectly. The steak tips were incredibly tender, and the bourbon flavor paired surprisingly well with the creamy sauce and perfectly al dente tortellini. Service was excellent from start to finish, and our waitress was attentive and friendly all night. They also have a very solid beer list -- seeing Maine Beer Co. Peepers on tap was a nice bonus. Overall, a really great find and definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

The Reuben was good, not excellent, and was quite large, so I took 1/2 home. And the clam chowder was served in a big bowl, but the recipe needed more potato and clam, less flour. Still, this was world's better than my cooking, so I'll be back to other things on the menu. And, the people who work here are lovely. It makes the entire experience enjoyable.

The dining room is fairly small with some bar seating available as well. It was clean and bright. It took about 7 mins for the server to come over and she lead with "are you ready to order?" I guess simple pleasantries are useless anyway. We knew our drinks and appetizers order but not what we wanted for pizza yet so we ordered those and told her we'd order pizzas when the apps and drinks came. She came back about 3 minutes later and asked if we were ready to order yet. Feeling pressured, we ordered thinking that perhaps they close soon (not the case). The bartender delivered our drinks a few minutes later and about 5 mins after that both the appetizers and pizza arrived at the same time. Besides the fact that our table wasn't large enough to accommodate all that food and drink, it was never our intention to eat our appetizers with our meal. The good news is that the food was hot, fresh and tasty. The potato bombs were excellent. Crispy home fry like potatoes and the peppers had a nice heat. I would love to try the popper version next time. The pizzas were good too, but be prepared for floppy and slightly under done base crust but a perfectly charred edge crust. I find many wood fired pizza to come this way but I did see other reviews mention this as a negative. The bill comes in a small ball jar with a delicious rice crispy treat. While the jar worked it must have made it hard to see that I dropped my credit card in it, so after the waitress walked by a few times I removed the card and made it visible on the table. When the tab came to sign I was not given a pen. I should have walked out and just let them charge me for just the tab but I cannot stiff waitstaff, even when it's poor service. My only hope is that it was the waitress's first day and she somehow figures out the typical cadence and procedure involved in waiting tables. Food was a solid 4 but service was a 2 so I landed on a 3. I would definitely go back hoping for a better server.
