From the food, to the service, to the hospitality, this place was an absolute gem. I came here with 4 of my friends and everything we got was absolutely perfect. Decent diner. Feels kinda cramped and can get loud. I wish they had more diner seats, but they probably have ten. Prettt sure they serve beer which is a bonus. Foods good. Service is fine. Prices are average. Parking lot can be a nightmare. 3.5 stars. Just a skosh over average. I think they close on the early side so check their website before going. read more

We regularly enjoy breakfast. The omlettss remains a favorite of mine and the raisin bread toast is a sweet treat. Husband often gets the special and always enjoys it. Wish they had a berries fruit cup and tea options. But overall very good. read more

Great spot! It was almost completely full when we walked in so that was a good sign. Their breakfast menu has a ton of variety. Prices are decent. My skillet was plenty, I could barely finish the whole thing. Home fries are seasoned well. They have GF toast (3 options) which is great. I'd stop by if I'm in the area again. Though I have lived in Hampstead for 25 yrs, I had never been to Ober Easy until about a month ago. At that time I ordered a chicken bbq, but noticed their vast breakfast menu. I love eggs benedict and I am extremely fussy about the holandaise sauce as it is what makes or breaks the dish. I asked if they make their own. Today I went for breakfast and tried the benedict which is one of the only places these days who has it fairly priced. It was good. Not the best holandaise, and far from the worst I have ever had. Ober Easy is a gem! My sister brought me here for the first time just over a week ago. The place was packed with people waiting to be seated. We didn't wait more than 10 minutes for our table. Our server was Delilah. She was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable about the menu. The menu choices look fantastic for breakfast and lunch At my sister's recommendation, I ordered the 2-2-3. 2 eggs, choice of 2 bacon or sausage and 3 crepes with choice of topping and fresh cream. Our food came out quickly and piping hot even though the place was packed. My dish was amazing! I had to exercise self restraint to NOT lap that plate clean! The following weekend, We brought my husband. We both ordered the 2-2-3. Again, just as amazing as the first time. I didn't take photos because I was too busy inhaling that amazing dish. I've been here several times on weekends and have been pleasantly surprised. The food is standard diner fare - if you're looking for fancy gourmet options this isn't it, but it is always well prepared and tasty. I've had the eggs Benedict and a few of the normal omelette options. Hash browns are always good! The food comes quickly and all of the servers are always friendly and keeping very busy. Sunday breakfast on Memorial Day weekend and we tried Ober Easy for the first time. It was THE WORST breakfast we have ever had in a restaurant. Greek omelet with feta cheese and Vegetable omelet with swiss cheese and we couldn't find any cheese in either of them. The home fries were burnt, the omelets tasted terrible and the coffee was watery / diluted. My grilled english muffin tasted like burnt oil. The waitress was very nice, so we didn't complain. We just won't go back. The food was THAT bad at $26.00 + for breakfast ! And, there were lots of seats available. A good breakfast place is usually very busy on weekends. read more
