We missed kick off because walking in we were greeted really rudely by the bartenders so we left to a cafe down the street Yelling across the bar and having all the costumers turn around so out of pocket never had this happen to me in Manhattan Beach everyone is welcoming to Latinos

Fun, local MB bar that has been around for years. Locals come here to congregate and watch sports. Best day to go is Taco Tuesday...$4 tacos in MB. Where are you gonna get a deal like that. Generous size beef, chicken and fish tacos to decide on, add guacamole and sour cream for extra but definitely worth it. Highly recommend the beef or grilled fish tocos, chicken taco is a little dry but still very tasty. If you have a BIG appetite, I dare you to take the 10 taco challenge. Service is hit or miss, more likely because they only have one waitress servicing all the tables.

So much fun! Felt like we were just hanging out with the locals. People were awesome, Moscow mule was on point! Met some really cool people and can't wait to visit this area again so I can come back here. Oh, I almost forgot, I ordered fried zucchini and wow, such a treat!

OB's has an electric atmosphere providing entertainment for customers of all sorts. Fun music and lots of TVs. Went on a Thursday where there happened to be a burger special - any burger on the menu plus a side for $11.95, the burger itself was large and delicious, and overall a great deal. It's nothing fancy or gourmet, but it's a very tasty classic burger. The Southern Swell Burger is served with an incredible and high quality hot sausage link on top. There was only one waitress so the service was on the slower side but they were very nice and friendly. I'm not sure why, but they have SO many barstools around very small tables. Even without the restaurant at full capacity, it was hard to get in and out of our table because of random excess chairs everywhere.

Very cool divey bar atmosphere vibes. Taco Tuesday they have these giant tacos for $3 I had the Maui taco, pretty good. Loaded with a lot of lettuce, but I like that. Margaritas (house tequila) are $4 on Tuesday and shots are $3. We had to add a shot to our margaritas to give it a kick. Overall, I enjoyed my day there and definitely would come back on another day!F

Absolutely empty as they deserve. No one else wants to give them hard earned money. pathetic people.

Friendly service but took FOREVER to get our food. I think people come here mainly to drink. Too long to wait.

The staff were friendly without being in-your-face-I-want-your-tips, but attentive at the same time with menus arriving quickly and fresh drinks timed perfectly. Food was delivered so fast I suspect that they had a bunch of game day standards pre-prepared to better deal with the game crowd. Regardless, the food was delivered fast. I had the buffalo wings which were crisp and lip smacking spicy - just as I would expect. Plump and meaty wings, and despite being an appetiser it was enough for me as dinner. The pilsener was a good match with the wings, and was a refreshing brew. I had three or four of them for the sake of quality assurance. Well recommended.

I received my Michelob ultra which was like a cold slushy! I said perfect! Thats the way I like my drink. Super cold and icey. We ordered on the spot. Another 15 minutes goes by. Recieved our food. Wings, zucchini, hamburgers and tater tots. I have got to say.. the food here is exceptionally delicious! No complaints on the food. All was satisfying. The place has a ambiance like a tavern. Dark and cozy. Parking is a hit and miss. We came in a good time. Parking may be difficult on peak hours. If you use Google maps.. be aware, sometimes Google maps is retarded. As a first timer, Google maps got us driving around and around. Just remember that the bar is on Sepulveda and parking is in the back. Alittle frustrated. Lol Overall it was a good experience. They can work on their staffing for lunch hour. Maybe add one waitress to cover lunch time.

The ribs had a slightly sweet taste to their sauce which is totally up my alley. My sister loved the meatloaf. The soft protein mixed with the crispy onions and veggies was a good mix. The appetizers were so good; the shrimp was nice and plump. The steak in the petit plate was so tender. And the chicken piccata was hearty and plentiful. The sushi roll was meh though. S E R V I C E The employees were nice but the service was slow. I asked for water 5 minutes after siting and we didn't get it for over 20 minutes. L O C A T I O N The restaurant is really close to the water and is very cute. There's indoor and outdoor seating available depending on your mood. The Bloody Marys used to be exceptional, accompanied by their delicious fried blue cheese-stuffed olives. This time, I had to ask for the blue cheese olives, and they were served separately and were very different than they were in the past. The asparagus fries were also disappointing and not nearly as good as they used to be. For our entrées, the Chilean sea bass was overcooked, and the mashed potatoes were so dense it was like eating plaster. Overall, the food simply did not meet the standard Nick's was once known for. What was most disappointing was the experience with my certified service animal. Despite dining with a service dog, no one offered a water bowl, and I was told that I could not feed her the plain burger patty I had ordered and paid full price for. The interaction felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, this visit was nothing like the Nick's we used to love. It's disappointing to see such a decline in both food quality and hospitality from what was once a favorite destination.

Decided to try and share savory and sweet after asking the server what was popular. The server mentioned that they are known for their biscuits so we got the biscuit egg Benedict and she was definitely right because the biscuit as the base was amazing and the best part. The rest of the benedict were standard with the runny egg and prosciutto. We also got the peach french toast which was not too sweet as the walnuts and peaches pair well. The only thing is that the inside of the french toast was a little runny so it was slightly soggy. The location is convenient, right on the street and close to Manhattan Beach, so it felt like an easy spot to check out We ordered a bunch of different dishes to get a feel for the menu. Overall, the food was good, but I'm not totally convinced it matches the price point. The prawn was definitely a standout -- really delicious and probably my favorite of the dishes we tried. The cookie was a little on the dry side, though, and the steak was honestly underwhelming for a $120 price tag. The drinks were much more impressive: well-made, nicely balanced, and definitely on the sweeter side Service was definitely on point. They weren't constantly checking in, which I actually appreciated, but whenever we needed something, someone was there and very attentive. Everyone was also friendly and welcoming throughout the meal The ambiance leans more toward a bar-restaurant than traditional fine dining, but the interior has some classy design elements and definitely gives off that modern LA fine-dining feel I'd probably come back to try some of the other dishes before making a final judgment. There were definitely some highlights, and overall, I'd still say it's worth a visit if you're in the area -- just go in knowing the prices are on the higher side
