Steak and eggs crossed off menu

On the corner of Philadelphia and Wicomico I found , " The Kitchen" , they serve breakfast all day from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. , in a cozy diner type atmosphere. The restaurant is so clean. The best breakfast I have had in a long time so simple yet so good. I ordered the 2 eggs with hash browns , 2 toast (rye) , and 1 meat ( sausage link). The over easy eggs were cooked perfect and the portions were so big. The most friendliest hospitable chef and waitress I have ever met. Family style ! The chef came out to ask how we liked the breakfast and the waitress thanked us for coming in. The homestyle potatoes are seasoned perfectly and cooked to be crispy. My dining companion had meat, egg, and cheese on rye and we couldn't believe how much bacon was given! Highly recommend if you're looking for a good breakfast... I could eat here everyday. I can't wait to come back to try Greek Omelette. Close to the inlet.

Looked around for a place to have a late breakfast or early lunch that was outside of the boardwalk given the high prices the vendors inside the festival and boardwalk was doing so we found this place a block down from the Main Street away from the boardwalk I guess they were or are only open first half of day because we must have been the last customers because they closed after we left lol but either way Friendly folks! Food was good too but my juice had been forgotten unfortunately but that was ok wasn't major issue Went to use bathroom and it was pretty dirty which kinda made me go oh no.. hence why I'm like giving it a 5 given that it should be kept up more given the place isn't open all day and was not cleaned but other than that we had a nice meal

Western omelette | ham, onions, green peppers, & cheddar cheese (it was supposed to be provolone cheese, but tasted good either way

I'll keep it brief and to the point: This restaurant is our go-to for breakfast every year. The new logo is clean and simple, yet inviting and striking. Staff is super friendly as always. My western omelette was perfectly cooked with added sausage and bacon. It came with the wrong cheese, but enjoyed it regardless. The homemade-style potatoes were incredible! We left full and satisfied, as always. See you again next summer

Great breakfast spot close to the inlet.

Soooo its IN SEASON and Dee is at our condo. A RARITY!!! So I decided to stop in And see how my favorite off-season breakfast place is. It's 10 AM on Friday and this is the last day for the weekly tourists. The place is full but not overly crowded. Everybody in here has a smile on their face because I think they all secretly think they discovered a hidden gem and they have. Family-owned Makes this place run smoothly. The wait staff all have blue T-shirts on that say "kitchen crew ". that sums it up. I'm enjoying this well oiled machine. The always decent coffee is waking me up. If you are solo diner here be prepared to sit in the alcove area of the main dining room. I understand why they do that to maximize space. But, Be prepared to have 40 to 50 people walk by you as they are seated or the servers who are walking by delivering food and cleaning tables. I even got elbowed once while I was drinking my coffee by someone in a party of about 10 excited to be getting seated. (see pic). I had the most expensive thing on the menu - the executive breakfast which is basically a steak and egg plate. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection. The eggs were good and so are the potatoes. I'd highly recommend this dish and for being in a resort it was reasonably priced. I've never had bad service here.My server today was Rabbia who was absolutely delightful and a very good server. I totally recommend The Kitchen.

Our Order: 2 coffees, 1 orange juice, fruit bowl, mediterranean omelet , and 2 eggs and toast. Execution of Our Order: The coffee was so fresh and hot it tastes absolutely amazing. The orange juice was freshly squeezed which was such a pleasant surprise. The mediterranean omelet was cooked to absolute perfection and seasoned beautifully, it tasted amazing. The fruit bowl had fresh seasonal fruit in it, it was absolutely refreshing. The eggs and toast were cooked to perfection and tasted great. Seating: Had plenty of seating, we sat at a booth and it was very spacious and very comfortable. Staff and Services: The staff here were so friendly and extremely attentive. They are amazing, the staff here are the best! Drink Menu: They have a very small drink menu but the coffee is amazing! Food Menu: They have a really nice food menu, there is some for everyone! Prices:$ Cleanliness: This is one of the cleanest restaurants we've been Overall Experience: The experience here was so friendly and great. This is an amazing little family owned restaurant. Rating: 10/10 Recommendation: 10/10 Family Friendly: Absolutely Stroller/Wheelchair Friendly: Stroller: No Wheelchair: Yes

    French Toast with fresh berries

Looking for a breakfast spot on Yelp for our first morning in Ocean City. The Kitchen had the right combination of location and positive reviews, and it doesn't disappoint. I enjoyed the French Toast with a generous portion of fresh berries and my wife had the Belgian waffle. The food was well prepared and presented, and the service was friendly and prompt. .

We dined with friends who had some issues with their food, but to keep things fair, I'm scoring this strictly from my own experience. We arrived at 5pm and were able to take advantage of the happy hour menu. The food came out fast and had great flavor. The mussels were my favorite dish of the night. The white wine garlic butter gave them an amazing taste that left me wanting more, and they were only $11 for Happy Hour instead of the regular $15. We also ordered the crab dip for $11, normally priced at $15. I loved the dip itself, but the Old Bay toast wasn't my favorite. I enjoy Old Bay, but it didn't feel necessary here. The Baha Mahi‑Mahi was fresh, and my wife's Angus New York strip was cooked exactly how she likes it. Somehow I forgot to take a picture of her dish. I would personally come back, but my friends said they wouldn't, which is a bummer. With a score of 24 out of 25, I'm giving this restaurant an A.

The restaurant was mostly empty so this was a mostly locals happy hour crowd for sure. Regular customer next to me pronounced the seasoned bartender the greatest of all time. We ordered a couple of house margaritas ($6.50) which came in a pint glass and were plenty strong. Only needed one of those! First up, crab dip. It came in a massive vessel, bubbling hot and lots of bread. This dish was so large I ate the leftovers three times. Big chunks of crab in a standard rich base. I brought rice crackers, but husband liked this plain bread better than the oily garlic toast that accompanied the mussels. Mussels were a big pile, with toast, in a mild broth. Not spectacular but a solid presentation. And finally, the boiled shrimp with old bay. Burning our fingers in our eagerness to peel and eat these babies, we got our fill for $10. Their cocktail sauce had an excellent texture, better than just ketchup and horseradish like some bars. Anyway, nice job and very economical! Bartender seemed disappointed we didn't need refills on drinks, but tomorrow is another day! Thanks for the hospitality, Coins!

The meat was a bit tough and chewy so I cut it up into small pieces and it was much better. I removed the fries so the bread didn't get soggy , and kept the coleslaw and we both agreed this was a really good sandwich. We walked from our hotel and checked in about 15min before our reservation, and were immediately sat. Don't seem overly busy which is never a good thing in a vacation destination. As my entree I went with the bleu cheese encrusted steak. I ordered it medium-well, which is what you do at a place that doesn't have steak in its name or isn't billed as a steakhouse. That way when the undercook it (as most do) it'll be the preferred medium temp. Anyway, the steak came out and WAS NOT encrusted. The potatoes that were served with it were very good but undercooked and slimy. The vegetables looked just forced and were thrown on the plate to add color not flavor. Our waitress Devin was nice, but she could tell the kitchen wasn't providing a good meal. We skipped dinner and went to Dumser's. Meh - wouldn't go back.
