No paying customer should ever be spoken to or treated that way, especially after spending hundreds of dollars at a salon. His behavior was intimidating, unacceptable, and a complete embarrassment to the business. Professional salons should know how to communicate with clients respectfully, even during disagreements. I fully intend to contact the owner because nobody in a management position should be treating customers this way.

Closer to the appointment time, I received a text link to check in. Upon arrival, I was greeted right away and taken to the waiting area which was stocked with SO many drinks and snacks! Prob the most and nicest setup I've seen for snack/drink offerings at salon. They make their own cold brew, have a large selection of teas, nespresso pods, milks, syrups, and bubbly drinks! I came in with multiple reference photos for what I thought was a pretty straightforward style: layers, curtain bangs, and a blowout, with about 3 inches taken off my base length. Instead, I essentially left with 3 inches taken off and a few layers in the front that didn't translate into the back. I was also disappointed to find that their version of a blowout was simply blow drying and curling the hair, which was not what I was expecting based on my photos. More than anything, I wish they had just been upfront and told me they weren't comfortable doing this particular haircut. When I showed the stylist my photos, they gave me several reasons why certain techniques or the style itself wouldn't work for my hair. I would have much rather known upfront that they weren't comfortable executing the look and waited to see my regular stylist. I also should have asked to see some of their previous haircut work beforehand as none of their work is similar to the photos I included here. I really tried to be understanding throughout the appointment, but unfortunately, I left with a basic haircut that wasn't what I asked for and a result I'm still dealing with weeks later.
