Place is quiet and extremely clean. Ample parking. +10,000 points for a front and back office staff that are probably the sweetest people I've ever encountered in a medical setting in my entire life. All of a sudden, we get a bill for an additional $166 dollars stating we only partially paid, that they tried to send it to insurance but "insurance" wouldn't cover the difference. Um, hello...we are CASH PAY. WHY in the WORLD are you trying to send it to an insurance carrier we don't have. ON top of that, why are we being charged additional money when we paid for all of it at the time the services were rendered. If there was an additional payment to be made, don't you think it would've been paid at the time we paid it?! Mind you, this wasn't a separate bill they were charging us for. This was stated as a "partial payment" of the original bill. They stated the total bill was for $700 something when we were told a much lesser amount. Of course, we called their billing department to dispute this. AND OF COURSE, they found themselves to be in the right so it was either pay the difference they said we owed or get sent to collections. This place is a complete rip off for the service they provide, they are dishonest in their practices, and I'm surprised they are even still in business. I guess when you steal from your patience due to your dishonesty, it pays the bills.

Due to this experience, I decided to cancel my upcoming appointment and do not plan to continue care at this office. I understand healthcare services involve costs, but with the current economic situation, unexpected charges like this are difficult and frustrating for patients. Easy parking, I was seen right away . The lobby is clean, beautiful, very welcoming, a woman's touch. Bottled waters in the fridge, and you may see a snack available. The patient room had a nice warm playlist of songs. I felt safe. I met with Margaret McLain, NP. She had very nice beside manners, answered all my questions. Since it was a while since I had a papsmear done, it was recommended. I felt comfortable at this place and with the NP, and also was not on a time constraint, so I went ahead with it. This was actually not so bad . The NP was gentle, and explained everything as she was prepping for this exam. After this experience I feel confident to move forward with FemiHealth as a main provider as I am looking for consistency with my healthcare. Finally feel like I found a home .
