Stayed 1night after the Steel Pulse concert at the OC Fair. Seems to be newly renovated and updated. Has ample parking spots & felt safe. Front desk was friendly & greeted us warmly even coming in at around 11pm. The room was on the second floor- didn't see an elevator? but there were to sets of stairs on each end of the hotel. Kingsize bed was comfy and had nice wood laminate flooring. Bigger flat screen tv Loved the rainfall shower-head sorry guys i don't think any of the rooms have tubs. . ** Also had robes and house slippers. another plus microwave and fridge. In the am Breakfast too :) until 9am. pleasantly surprised 5stars highly recommend! I'd stay here again! yaye glad to have found one of the better budget hotels in Costa Mesa. read more

I'm rating this five stars as a 3 to 4 star hotel because, while not perfect, it excels beyond it's comparable competition. I stayed here during the OC Marathon weekend and it was perfect for a location - just a mile away from the fairgrounds. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when we requested a late check out. The rooms were clean, quiet, and very comfortable despite the motel appearance. The breakfast had enough options and a nice coffee machine. We really enjoyed our stay here and would return in a heartbeat! read more

We went to check in and were told to wait. Waited over 10 mins for someone to check us in. Then when we got to our room there was hair in the bed and shower. I went back down to the office to ask for another room. The second room had hair in the bed, soap on the counter, and a brown stain on the floor. I went back down to the office to ask for another room and they gave us a room with two beds. When I checked both beds one had hair in it again...under the sheets and black stains on the bedding and pillows. All of this and they didn't offer a refund. Instead they handed us $40 cash. This made me very upset because my partner planned this getaway to surprise me and he felt really bad that all of our rooms were dirty. read more

Stayed here for a night during my so Cali trip and honestly this place was much better than the other place we also stayed at. The inside was very clean and had a lot of storage space to spread out your items. A long table under the tv that also functions as a mini desk area where I was able to eat my meal. The chair was leather which was good since it makes it easy to sanitize and check for bugs. Beds did not have any signs of bugs and the bathroom had great water pressure and was sectioned off so that you can use the sink without haven't to be in the toilet/shower corner. Their tv had a great variety of channels to select from and the location was nearby some good food options to eat from. read more

Called to see if early check in was possible. They were able to accommodate to noon instead of the usual 3pm. They asked if the second floor was okay and it was for our group. However, I noticed there are stairs only and no elevator so not very ADA friendly if they run out of rooms on the first floor. Overall the room and beds were clean. No bugs. Would stay again. TV with Roku remote and good amount of tv channels, mini fridge and microwave in the room. Would stay here again if in the area. read more

This is an affordable and clean place to stay right in the heart of Costa Mesa. The staff was very nice and helpful. It definitely isn't the Ritz Carlton, but if that's what you are looking for then go stay at the Ritz. OC hotel is just perfect for the price. read more

When we arrived there was no one to be found to check in. We heard voices but saw nobody. We had to call out and search for someone to help us. They finished their conversation with other staff before turning their attention to us. ‍ The coffee machine would not work and the staff wasn't too concerned about it. That was frustrating for everyone wanting coffee in the morning. The hotel is a little run down and the staff seemed pretty disconnected. Breakfast was less than a continental. Very limited. I was in Irvine California for a two-day business meeting and my company booked this hotel for us to stay in, and from the outside, I have to say I wasn't very impressed. But once I walked into the room, I have to say I was pleased. Worst hotel service ever. Do not recommend. Threatened guests and demanded cash to stay. Told us we could not have anyone visit us and they had to stay off property on the street. Waited 10 minutes but I have somewhere to be so I left the key card on the desk and left. Tried to call a couple times, no one answers and there doesn't seem to be any voicemail set up. Place good. Physical structure of the hotel good. Cleanliness good. Noise level outside very quite. No one hangs out outside. NOW the issue... during my stay the vents makes a clanging sound at first was like what the heck is that sound...inside my hotel room was a lock door that access to the other room but of course they have that incase you want to occupy extra room so u have access to the other room...apparently the walls are not sound proof you can hear people talking, laughing nxt room. I hear a man pee pee and fart at the same time now that caught my attention. You cant have sex here bec. The walls are not sound proof free -they will hear you both. Again im just being honest of my experience so that others will be aware. No disrespect to anyone...you pay your stay and expect good results right. This is my third time staying in this super cute newly remodeled Boutique Hotel and I absolutely love it. The staff is so kind and helpful, they treat you like family. The rooms are spacious and well decorated with refrigerator, microwave and a nice TV. They have a pool and Jacuzzi, free Wi-Fi, free breakfast, free snacks all day, and free parking. I highly recommend it. this is definitely a hidden gem in Orange County. Exceeded my expectations. I will definitely come back. read more

My husband, my son and I were in the Jacuzzi. We didn't realize it was past after hours about 20 minutes sitting there we got harassed. She was on the phone. Looks like she was on FaceTime or either filming us. She stood there outside why we got out the Jacuzzi. I told her it was very inappropriate that she was standing there filming us. After that, me and my husband had a cigarette outside of our room in the parking lot and we're harassed again by another worker asking us if we had a room here and then there was a smoking area. I was never informed that there was a smoking area. Not including the attitude I got from the Front Office when I asked them. I was going to a 90-year-old's birthday party checking in driving from three hours away and asked if I could check in a couple hours before hand. Not to mention yes they are all of Indian descent. I'm not mentioning that as a source, but I mentioning that as this is probably a family owned business of some sort, but I feel very harassed by this. I would not recommend this hotel/seems like a motel to anybody with the harassment me and my husband having endured mind you there are people in the parking lot in their cars doing shady stuff and they're not even bothering to harass. Mind mind you why I'm sitting here in the smoking section in the corner, and either a possum or a big rat, jumped on to the bench and up on the wall, making me scream and off it went read more

I only gave two stars because I like the receptionist. I needed to book something to work locally with my child. Zero room service during my entire stay and complimentary breakfast is a microwave sausage muffin, bagel, and toast. Then upon checkout they called to complain that the towels were dirty. I have stayed at tons of hotels here and around the world never once have I heard this to be considered a damage. They wanted to charge $30. How are they cleaning the towels if they can't clean it? That's ridiculous. I don't recommend this stay and will file complaint to my bank. read more

Worst hotel I've stayed at. It's a motel not a hotel. Room smells really bad like bug spray so I asked for a different room. The next room was a little less smelly. The pool is not heated freezing cold. Only shower rooms not bath tub. Breakfast is not a breakfast- just granola bars, yogurt, cereal. I was there at 7 am and no hot breakfast. We stayed here when it was BLVD and it was great. Now....it looks nice but was awful! They did let us check.in but the room was a mess. Curtain broken, AC broken and the phone was in two pieces. Not to mention we saw them putting the breakfast out around 11pm!!! Including the bagels, bread and pastries. So we skipped the free breakfast. Then I left my custom white PJ shirt on the bed. I know my fault! I recall changing right in front of the bed and must have put my bag on top of my shirt cause when I got home there was no shirt. I called (an hour and a half) after checking out and was told they would check and call me back. No one called so the next day I called. They immediately said nothing was found. I said it was white and on the white sheets so maybe it went into the laundry cause I know it was there. They told me to call back the next day. I call back and still they have nothing. That is impossible since the last place I had it was on the bed and I walked from the room to my car, drove home, took my bag out and the shirt wasn't in there. It was a custom PJ top from my wedding. It has my name on it! Why someone would want to steal it I have no idea but as we were leaving the cleaning lady was in the room next store with the door open, no uniform and BLASTING music. My daughter and I stayed here for a soccer tournament and everything was just wonderful. Rooms were small but modern, very clean, safe parking, great restaurant "Spoons" right next door, the staff was exceptionally attentive! Upon arriving the receptionist were professional and friendly. Everything was very clean including the pool - which we had all to ourselves. I am writing this review because this hotel is trustworthy and helpful to say the least. Starting with housekeeping who turned in item I felt behind after checking out, then Ulisa who notified me, and Ebert whom made a special trip to post office to return it. It is obvious that the manager Barbara Smith is a problem solver who cares about her customers and has a commitment team! Thank you Barbara and team! read more
