    Hair in bed

We went to check in and were told to wait. Waited over 10 mins for someone to check us in. Then when we got to our room there was hair in the bed and shower. I went back down to the office to ask for another room. The second room had hair in the bed, soap on the counter, and a brown stain on the floor. I went back down to the office to ask for another room and they gave us a room with two beds. When I checked both beds one had hair in it again...under the sheets and black stains on the bedding and pillows. All of this and they didn't offer a refund. Instead they handed us $40 cash. This made me very upset because my partner planned this getaway to surprise me and he felt really bad that all of our rooms were dirty.

Called to see if early check in was possible. They were able to accommodate to noon instead of the usual 3pm. They asked if the second floor was okay and it was for our group. However, I noticed there are stairs only and no elevator so not very ADA friendly if they run out of rooms on the first floor. Overall the room and beds were clean. No bugs. Would stay again. TV with Roku remote and good amount of tv channels, mini fridge and microwave in the room. Would stay here again if in the area.

This is an affordable and clean place to stay right in the heart of Costa Mesa. The staff was very nice and helpful. It definitely isn't the Ritz Carlton, but if that's what you are looking for then go stay at the Ritz. OC hotel is just perfect for the price.

Staff are professional and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Loved the location, near dog park, freeways and OC Fairgrounds. Plenty of places to walk too. They offer a veteran discount, which is always awesome! I'd def recommend this place to friends and family!

NO hospitality at all very cold in terms of the family that works there you can tell it's literally just for the all mighty Dollar there was bugs in my room pillows are so hard couldn't sleep I came early and the asked for a extra $20 in cash because I was there at 12:30 not 3 pm I shows the lady the online pricing was $102 total she was tring to charge me $140 so over all I am not going to stay there again if people only treat you like a number and not a person no good

I did a reservation . So at the time I get there they told me You know what we are sold out. This is not a serious business.

Megan and Rose were very sweet and informative. the bed was sooo comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

I was in Irvine California for a two-day business meeting and my company booked this hotel for us to stay in, and from the outside, I have to say I wasn't very impressed. But once I walked into the room, I have to say I was pleased. Now don't get me wrong we've stayed at nicer locations, but for the price and the distance from the seminar, this is a great place to stay if you're in Costa Mesa. Could it be better? Yeah, but then I just be nitpicking.

Strange red mark, possible blood again.

Check-in was disorganized. The front-desk employee charged our credit card for the wrong room and told us not to worry because the charge would be removed within three to five business days. That was not an acceptable resolution. Our room had several problems: it smelled unpleasant, the air conditioner made a loud screeching noise throughout the night, and the refrigerator did not work. We were provided only one set of bath linens. When I called to request another set, we received two bath towels that appeared to have melted plastic on them. Equally disappointing was the service. When we contacted the office about these concerns, we were not treated courteously, and no one apologized for the errors. At checkout, no one asked about our stay or offered an opportunity to address the problems. I later contacted Wyndham and was told that, because this location is a franchise, there was nothing they could do. I am extremely disappointed by both the hotel's response and Wyndham's lack of support. This experience has caused me to reconsider staying at Wyndham properties in the future.

There were ants in my room this time, got all up inside my suitcase, which was unfortunate and annoying. Was only there for two nights so not too big of a deal. The courtyard is so fun and the food is good yet pricey of course. Chips, salsa and guac were about $19, but pretty yummy. Got the sea bass dish which was recommended by the server, I give it 4/5! Delish mashed potatoes and fish was good, maybe a little more salt needed for me on the dish overall. Happy with it though. Was about $24-$26. If you're visiting and an artsy person, I recommend stopping by the anti-mall just about 8 min drive nearby, pretty cute and a fun visit.

Our room was huge (we had the Junior Suite with a small patio) and the room appeared new and clean. It was very convenient to the dog area and fitness center. When Spring Break calls…read more.... You certainly don't ignore it. You definitely don't reject it. And if you just happen to miss the call... You most certainly better call it back! My advice: Just pick up the phone. Well on April 7th, 2026 Spring Break hit me up and told me that Spring Break was definitely on and Huntington Beach was the place to be. Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa enters the chat. ------------------------------------- Being that it was Spring break for the kids, we wanted to give them some much needed rest from school and what better way than a little fun in the sun poolside. So we put our earned Hyatt points to work and took a 3 day escape to H.B. The Parking Sitch: Of course we did our research on the hotel prior to our trip and saw that valet parking was $60 per night!! So my wife did some further research and saw that the Hyatt contracts with the H.B. Beach parking lot which is offsite and is located directly across from the resort for a lesser overnight fee (please note that it is a bit of a walk, so I highly recommended dropping the luggage and your family at the front entrance prior to making your way to the beach parking lot). There is a bridge that connects from the beach parking lot right to the hotel property. The lay of the land: This is a resort style hotel so the place is huge and it literally takes up a whole city block. Of course, there are resort style pools, hot tubs, restaurants, a spa and other resort amenities to make your getaway enjoyable. Things to do: When you are not soaking up the sun poolside or taking a dip into the pool, there are many walkable places down PCH with local eateries, shops and of course the beach! The stay: The rooms were decent, nothing special, but also nothing bad to report. The property itself is very large, we spent most of our time at the pool or chillen in our room. Overall, it was a nice getaway and we always enjoy our stay with Hyatt. So.... What's the plan for Spring Break 2027!?

Although you pay $45 a day for it but that's kind of standard right? People at the front desk were great and friendly, helpful, and eager to get you into your room as quick as possible. We had brought our pet with us and they were very accommodating with that, It was only an extra 50 bucks to bring our furry friend.
