Amazing gyro! This is seriously one of the best I've had and I love gyros. Delicious ingredients that come together so well in taste, texture, and ease of eating. I have to point out, I love the way their meat is sliced, makes it very easy to eat as opposed to carvings. I personally always add feta to my gyros and they are generous which is unlike many othet places I have been. I've lived here for almost a year now, tried others in the area and this one is definitely my favorite. If you are craving a gyro, this is your spot. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by encountering threatening & antisemitic behavior from the owners. I wear a bracelet that says "Israel" with a heart that someone gave me. I didn't notice my surroundings (Palestinian flags everywhere), and went to pay for my food by handing the guy behind the counter my card. He noticed the bracelet and goes "it's Palestine". I smile and said something to the effect of 'absolutely, both exist, hopefully one day we can all live in peace' and he said "one day we will take it all back" and so I offered him my hand for a handshake and he goes "leave now" and as I was walking out I heard him call me anti-Jewish slurs in Arabic. The food was subpar. I'm not just saying that because of the mood the back and forth put me in, but because that's an honest evaluation of the food and the price. Overall very disturbed by this. Alright quality food, but I was sorely disappointed with portions. My lamb kebab was $15 for maybe $6 worth of lamb that was rather tough. We also ordered a shawarma for $20, and it was the size of a $12-$14 dollar handheld from any other restaurant. read more

So yummy! Amazing food, amazing service. Ordered takeout on a Sunday evening and it was an awesome experience. Firstly, the location is very convenient along Coastal Highway with plenty of parking and nearby shopping options, like TJ Maxx, Candy Kitchen, and a liquor store. There's a bus stop nearby as well. The service is wonderful. The restaurant is owned by a guy who's from Greece and Jordan, so you know it's authentic Mediterranean food. We were treated so nicely with genuine smiles. Truly, the service here is attentive and warm. As for the food, it is incredible and freshly made. We waited about 15-20 minutes for our three orders, which included a chicken entree, lamb entree, and Greek quesadilla. The entrees come with one skewer of your chosen meat plus one skewer of grilled vegetables and you can choose two from rice, pita bread, couscous, and salad. We got both entrees with rice and salads. We also asked them to add chicken to the quesadilla, which we had to pay about $6 extra for, but it wasn't a huge deal because it turned out to be delicious. The other entrees were fantastic as well. The rice is basmati rice, the meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked, the vegetables were fresh and delicious, and the sauce was amazing. We could tell that everything was cooked with care. We didn't know how it could possible get better, but it did... when we ate the baklava. Oh my goodness - I've had a lot of baklava but the one from here tops them all. It was perfect - so flaky yet soft with the right amount of sweetness and saltiness together. Ridiculously good. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you like Mediterranean food, but even if you've never tried it, I can almost guarantee you'll enjoy it. 10/10 would recommend. read more

The young owners are from Jordan, and they know their way around the kitchen. I swear I have never had better falafel in my life, and I told them so when leaving! I know how many small businesses have been devastated by the ridiculous one-sided lockdown. I really wanted to write a glowing review, but you have to be honest. The people are very nice however, the food is not very good. I ordered a Greek salad which was almost completely devoid of feta cheese. The dressing was Bland and extremely watery. The lamb kebab had a very nice marinade, but was extremely overcooked. Also, for 9 bucks it was quite small. Beef Kebab sandwich was a better value, however, there too the beef was extremely well done. After so many good reviews, I am hopeful that this is a temporary situation due to the ridiculous lockdown and the irrational panic surrounding covid-19. I truly wish them all the best in the future and may try them again next year hoping for a better outcome read more

After being in OC for a few days (week days) and everything here opens and closes by seasons, my boyfriend and I didn't know where to go, what to eat or what to do, so I opened up my yelp app and started to look for restaurants near our hotel, and I came across OC Kabob. When we walked in we were nicely greeted by two men, we ordered a chicken kabob and a beef kabob with rice, salad and pita bread, the food was amazing the best kabob I've ever had !!!!! I spotted this place while driving to the nearby grocery store. We have already ordered it twice and it has been excellent. The first time we ordered we got a chicken kebab sandwich and a lamb kebab sandwich. We ordered for take out and the food did not disappoint; the food tastes authentic. My suggestion is to order the tzaziki sauce on the side if you are ordering take out because your sandwich will get soggy (which wasn't bad, but better if not soggy). Although delicious, the lamb was a bit tough to bite through. The second time we ordered beef kebab sandwich, chicken kebab sandwich, and kofta. We order the tzaziki on the side since it was carry out and it was excellent! The place was consistent in service and food taste both times. Some of the staff were wearing masks while others weren't. It wasn't really an issue but my suggestion is that they were masks inside at all times. This place in the shopping mall connected with a coffee shop. I order lamb Kebob platter with rice and salad. Everything was very good and I especially like the rice! It was missing the crispy rice piece that others give but it was definitely more flavorful. We ended it with some Baklava. The portion was large and not too sweet, which I like.
