I wanted to update my original review after speaking with the manager. He reached out to me personally, and I appreciated that he took the time to listen to what I had to say and understand why I wrote the review the way I did. We had a good conversation, and I was able to explain my concerns and what led to my experience. He was very understanding and told me that the next time Im in town and would like to return to give him a call directly. I appreciate a manager who is willing to reach out, listen to a customer, and try to make things right. My original review was based on my experience that night, and I stand by what I said, but I also believe in giving credit when someone takes the time to address the situation. What a wonderful evening! We were celebrating a very special occasion and my wife wanted to come to Our Harvest. I have mentioned in previous reviews here how wonderful the food is and how absolutely well taken care of we were. That has remained to stay at their high standard. I would like to mention this time the hard working management and staff. We were able to be seated in the center of the dining room. This gave me a vantage point to see how the inner kitchen workings performed their magic. I followed the flow of inbound orders, various stations preparing the orders and the constant communication between all the folks. Their very hard work pays off. The meal was perfect. Our orders were placed correctly and timely. Prepared quickly and accurately. Served promptly with a smile. Food always tastes a bit better when the server has a smile and genuinely asks if they can get you anything. Wonderful! All of this would not be so well orchestrated without top management. I had the pleasure of meeting Skyler for our dining experience and what a top notch guy he is! He takes pride in his restaurant and it really shows! Very inviting farm-to-table restaurant with multiple seating area. It's perfect for large parties or for grabbing a seat at the bar and hanging out. Definitely make reservations, especially if you're coming with a bigger group. They were running a few minutes behind the night we visited, but it wasn't a big issue. Our server was fantastic. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and walked us through the menu. We ended up ordering about half of it! We sat right by the open kitchen so that added a nice touch. We made reservations for Our Harvest a few weeks in advance of our trip. We were able to walk from our hotel, and were seated as soon as we arrived. The atmosphere was bustling, and our server JJ was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered vodka and sprite, and had interest in the Daily Bread with sourdough and foccacia, but I do not like blue cheese. JJ said no problem, it could be left it out. I was skeptical because restaurants rarely leave it out when I ask, but Our Harvest was on point. The runner who delivered it to the table stressed that bleu cheese was omitted. The bread was amazing, freshly made, warm and delicious. We like to get seafood when we are at the beach, but there isn't a lot on the menu that we both would like. I do like rockfish so we decided to share the herb & lemon stuffed whole Rockfish, wood fired, flaked & tossed with brown butter. Wow, that was incredible! The brown butter was rich and nutty and added an extra level of flavor to the lemony and flaky hunks of fish. We also shared the most tender asparagus I have ever eaten, and ended with beignets. Excellent experience - the food was fresh, delicious and the service was wonderful from start to finish. Our hostesses were warm, friendly and so very helpful. Our server was awesome, explained everything well since it was our first time in. But let's get to what matters: the food. This was, hands down, the best, dining I've had in Fenwick Island. So so good. We had charred octopus, calamari, steak and the lamb meatballs. I'm still thinking about those meatballs and plotting on how to get back for more. For desert we had a sticky toffee that was better than you know what. Will absolutely return and make this a regular - we are thrilled to have found this gem in our neighborhood. read more

We have been to Our Harvest several times, usually sitting at the bar and we just love the camaraderie with the bartenders, the service and ordering several small plates - that we sometimes share and each order something that we like. The hickory smoked old fashions were so good and we also had roasted oysters, prosciutto and arugula flatbread, the roasted broccoli was fantastic. The food is quality here! My fave out of what my friend and I had was the Devil's Pie but I loved the bucatini too. The menu seems to say they have many small plates and while some of the portions are smaller than maybe at some other places, they are still a good portion and well flavored and well presented . I am so glad they are not the typical tapas small that I have seen in other areas as I feel like tapas can easily be overrated. The baby carrots as you can tell are no longer baby but the glaze and the way the carrots are cooked are still well done. Apparently my friend has been here before and he preferred the baby carrots and said they were more expensive. The cauliflower was cooked well but the additional spicy sauce brought out the flavor for me. My friend can't eat too many spicy things but he loves the cauliflower without the sauce. Devil's Pie had a decent amount of toppings that flavor the pie where you don't feel like you're eating too much bread and you don't feel overly full by the toppings even though I love lots of toppings but I am not crazy about that full feeling either. The andouille sausage flavors the bucatini the most and is seasoned and cooked superbly. The shrimp's respectable size, seasoning, and flavoring help a lot as well. The whole accompanying of the combination could certainly be a welcome addition to being a regular item on the menu. The staff here are very friendly. The look of the place is so beautifully rustic. Btw a 3 & 4. Their Bloody Mary was very plain. Tomato juice and vodka. We asked for a spicy but it was really plain. The French onion soup had no beefy taste at all and it tasted like they used super sweet onions in it. Other than the sweetness of the onions it was tasteless. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly with chimichurri sauce was good but it was a tapas size and the pizza was good - it had way too much cheese on it. The service was fast and friendly and the place was cozy. We will come and try them again. The entrees saved the meal. After the drink & app we were really worried. The menu is a little odd too many things that are family sized only and when do you all ever want to eat the same thing on the same day?! read more

We joined two friends for dinner here last night. It was the first time for both of us, and we had made reservations. We are not tourists. We all own homes here. As we walked toward the front door, we were met by waiters filled with dirty dishes - OUTSIDE! Not appetizing. When we arrived, they had not reserved us a table in the dining room as requested, but in the bar, where we endured a loud TV playing sports and children being...children. I had a whiskey sour. They did not have my Irish whiskey, so I accepted Jameson. I am fairly sure they forgot that as well because it was v-e-r-y weak. The rest had wine and no problems. Dinner was a shit show. We just could not figure out the "small plates" or "feasts." Why is everything so expensive? We had to pay $12 for rolls. Most respectable places in Virginia pride themselves on their unique and complementary rolls and breads. Two of us ordered the French onion soup. It was microwaved and completely tasteless. I have had canned soup that was much, much better. We had to ask the hostess, who was now apparently our waiter as well, to get us soup spoons. On the upside, it was served in a Dixie cup, so no need to be concerned about needing to eat much of it. I ordered soft shell crab and an arugula salad. The arugula was not a salad but a handful of completely tasteless arugula. They did not even take the stems off. I had one bite and decided no more!! The soft shell crab was completely tasteless and way over-coated and fried. They had the nerve to charge an additional fee on every single item if u paid with a credit card. This place should be grateful to anybody paying for any of this meal or awful service with any currency. We all left outraged at the crazy, inflated charges they place on the worst food any of us have had in a long time. read more

This restaurant was recommended to us from a local foodie the last time we came to Ocean City, MD. We went here last night and everything was fabulous! The ambiance, hosts, food, drinks and service (Stephanie was wonderful). We had the following: Bacalao croquettes, mussels, crab biscuit, esquire corn, lamb meatballs and calamari. Last night my husband and I ate at the bar. We ordered a cheese board, flank steak and swordfish. The food was good, but lacked the "hum" factor we normally experience. I felt the blonde bartender was short and gave me a song and dance about using a $100 gift card to pay., saying the authorizations never work properly. Tried this place for the first time in the off-season. My wife had been there multiple times. Really nicely decorated for the holiday season. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The menu consists of mostly small plates and shareables. Food was of excellent quality. I would put this place on par as far as fanciness and cost alongside liquid assets and one coastal. The wife and I shared the crispy Brussels sprouts, skirt steak, and a flatbread with prosciutto. Everything was excellent. Also has a relatively lively and active bar scene. My wife and I had a magnificent experience so much so that we recommended the place to our daughter and son-in-law to celebrate their anniversary and they were also delighted. Intriguing décor and a unique ambiance and I love the large bar. The service was exceptional and the young ladies that were bartending provided great recommendations on drinks as well as small plates. The flavors of the various plates that we tried danced on your palate! Reminded me of a lot of flavor profiles when I visited Spain and Portugal. Cocktails were well balanced and elegantly served. Stopped here on a Friday night with reservations. Decor and set up is farm to table style wood and leather accents with an open kitchen. Also a bar area with a couple TVs. We sat at a table with a view of the kitchen and ordered a few drinks. There are two options: FEAST & SMALL PLATES. The feast being large cut steaks/fish or paella, and the small plates being a variety of just about everything from soups and salads to meats and breads. We got a variety of the latter: Table Bread: Texas Toast and sliced bread with oil, cranberry spread and butter. I thought the Texas toast was nearly flavorless - texture was right but it was very very bland. Burrata Salad: Burrata cheese on a bed of watermelon and tomato wedges. Radishes added for garnish - the cheese wasn't bad and the tomato watermelon combo wasn't terrible- overall good. French Onion Soup: VERY VERY SMALL for the price. Also the flavor in this had a weird sweetness to it- like the base had apple butter or some type of brown sugar. I didn't finish it - wasn't for me. MD Crabcake: On top of a bed of cold corn soup and slaw garnish. This was solid. Crabcake had mostly all meat - nice crisp to it. Executed very well. Lamb Meatballs-: decent under shmear garnish - but the meatball was undercooked and under seasoned. Very bland. Carrots: Best flavor on the menu we tried. Very good and had a nice sweet kick to it. de Pepi Flatbread: First - flatbreads aren't circular, they are more long and thin shaped. This is a pizza, not a flatbread. This was the best item we had. Overall - for the price per small plate, and the lack of seasoning, this was just OK. Wouldn't try it again, but would recommend you give it a try and create your own opinion. I've been sitting on this for a few days and I have prepared and gathered intel from locals as well to add to this total review. We selected this place based on reviews of others. It is rather new and had not tried yet so here goes: A.) putting $25.00 down via credit card for EACH person for a reservation almost kept me from reserving for 2 people. B.) arriving, it was a nice looking place and cute for sure. We were sat right away and greeted. I also appreciated our server and explaining the order of operations since this place is labeled as 'tapas.' C.) it appeared as though there were tons of variety and options but I could've ordered wrongly as paella looks like the right choice. D.) there was a table touch by who I assumed is an owner. E.) for what we ordered I just would've NEVER guessed the bill would've been what it was plus they add the credit card convenience fee atop of the bill. F.) the food was just ok. I was a little disappointed in this and I asked the local uber driver about it and he doubled down on everything I said above after sharing that it was SO great in November of 2022. But he revisited it and it was not good the second time and thinks something happened to cause the shift as it was that significant. read more

This review is a little overdue as we visited in August. Had never tried Our Harvest in our many trips to the area and wanted to give this a try. It is not the kind of place we would bring the kids to so it was an adults only dinner. We made a reservation and when we arrived were promptly seated. The place including the bar was all quite busy on the night we went. Our server was prompt and efficient with drinks and food. Lots of big and small options to choose from on the menu. We opted for a few small plates. My favorite item was the scallops. Done perfectly. My husband enjoyed his meatballs- he said they were spicy which he was not expecting but he likes spicy so it didn't matter. He loved his wagyu steak small plate as well. Overall, a nice experience and a different dining option than the typical fare in the area. We did not have room for dessert but had a pleasant adults only evening at Our Harvest! read more

Highly recommend Our Harvest and go with friends! Ordering Family Style was the was to. Six of us ordered 1- Chicken Feast and 1 Flank Steak Feast. That would have been more than enough but we also ordered 3 Salads and 4 small plates plus French Fries! There were plenty of veggies on the Flank Steak and the Chicken was ginormous. Our server Ruby and her food runner/bussers offered dynamite service. Everyone agreed that they did not stick anything in their mouth that they didn't' absolutely love! VERY VERY GOOD. This place is extremely good. I have only been here twice and both experiences were very enjoyable. The first time I went we got a variety of things to try and each dish was very delicious. The salad was so so good. The oysters also had outstanding flavor. Most recently, I went for drinks and dinner. We sat at the bar, and our server/bartender took very good care of us. We ordered the seafood Paella (not pictured) and all I have to say is... WOW. The combination of flavors was delicious. The portion of the Paella is very big, leaving us with a lot of leftovers (still great the day after). This is a nicer dinner spot for more special occasions because it is on the pricier side. You do have to pay for a reservation, if you do not show, but definitely don't want to miss out on the great food and atmosphere here! read more

Rustic and pleasant space. There are many menu selections both small plates and shareable meals. We ordered the seafood paella and my dining partner did not want calamari. They were very accommodating and happy to substitute the calamari for extra shrimp. The paella was plentiful and delicious. The only drawback was that the clams were a bit sandy. I had clams at two different restaurants while in the area and experienced sandy clams both times. I know that on occasion, it's unavoidable, but it would certainly be an improvement if the kitchen staff was instructed the purge clams. The paella was meant for two people, but there was enough leftover, that we made a salad the shared the leftovers as another meal a second night. The staff was exceptionally attentive. Farm to table meets tapas at this upscale restaurant. First, make reservations as they get crazy busy. They require a $25 deposit per person which is just a holder in case you cancel. They have an incredible amount of libations and so much to choose from. Small plates, easily shareable and feasts (larger portions for 3+ persons) and a nice selection of flatbreads. Wine list is extensive from reasonable to expensive. We had the Beef boneless short ribs feast with potato purée, onions, and carrots. So tender and the vegetables were cooked perfect. Grilled Cesar Salad - with dressing which was delicious. Charred Broccoli- parm over the plate. Very good. Kentucky Fried Cauliflower- served with a mayo aioli and hot sauce. This was really different and yum. Fingerling Potato's - needed a sauce but was very good and perfectly cooked and charred on the outside. Calzone - Delicious- I wanted that and it did not disappoint. Full of meat and cheese with marinara on the side. This was a star calzone!! Overall, a bit of a spurge, but superb service, everything cooked meticulously and a great relaxing meal. It's good for larger parties as you can try a bit of everything. 100% worth the hype! My friend suggested this restaurant and I was kind of eh about going to Fenwick when there were so many places to eat in OC. We tried to get a reservation a day in advance but they were booked up so we took a chance at bar seating on a Saturday evening. We thought we were smart getting there at 4:50 (they open at 5) for an early dinner and getting bar seating, but plenty of people had the same idea and were waiting! Luckily we were able to snag seats. They have tapas, feasts, and flatbreads. We decided to do it up and got about 4 small plates, the 40oz tomahawk, veg to share, and desserts at the end!! I literally felt like someone had to roll me out of there but everything was so good. I have no bad things to say about any of it. I love that they source locally as well. Check them out!! read more

First up, food is delicious and different and honestly, a breath of fresh air. A few things that need some tweaking: For the price, I would consider this a "special occasion place". Baggy jeans and tee shirts on the staff is meh. I get it, we are at the beach, but maybe it's too casual. Bathroom door could use a hook and overall updating. WAY too many TVs in this place and if you are gonna have them on, how about no MMA or news? I know I'm nitpicking but we spent $180 for two (I don't drink), but seeing water in glasses on the empty tables waiting for new guests to save time seems silly. Please stop putting dirty menus on clean plates. Service was good! Food was great! Get the sticky toffee pudding! I'll be back. read more
