He rarely checked on our table to see how the food was or whether we needed anything else. Other servers (a few) ended up helping us place additional orders because our server wasn't around. Even when we were ready to pay, we waited about 10-15 min before he came back with the check. The quality of the food and ingredients was still very good, which is why we continue to enjoy dining here.
