I went in yesterday afternoon with my daughter because she had a fever, I did not know the cause of it and I wanted her checked out. The doctor that attended us was so unprofessional, she completely rolled her eyes when my daughter started crying because she was scared. I looked at her really mad & told her that she's crying because she's traumatized of doctors. (My daughter has had multiple surgeries due to having a type of hemangioma & has been Covid tested multiple times as well.) I don't know if she didn't care but she straight up told me that there was nothing wrong with her & that she has no ear or throat infection and to just let the fever work itself. Next morning (today) she's had fever all day & she starts having shivers due to her fever and I panic of course & I take her to a completely different medical center & right away they said she has ear infection & that she needs two shots in her butt. She is feeling so much better and I am so glad there's no more fever. But yes this place needs to get better doctors, doctors that actually care for their job & have a passion for it. Don't just because a doctor for the money. read more

Very pleasantly surprised with this location. Usually you have to be cautiously optimistic when it comes to urgent care but I called in the morning, asked if they were operating on a walk in or appointment basis, they informed me it was walk in. When I got there, I was seen in less than 5 minutes, got a great PA / Dr. and was given a Covid test and flu test to which both were negative and results were provided to me in no more than 10 minutes. They were able to send my prescription over to the Ralph's pharmacy right near by and I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. Really wonderful & clean place with great staff who are kind and professional. read more

Have you ever heard of the phrase, meeting Buddha at the gas pump? Well, I just met Buddha at Urgent Care. Matthew Rexinger P.A. was insightful, knowledgeable , compassionate and intelligent. (All the highest caliber superlatives.) He was calm, professional and upbeat despite my hysteria. I went to urgent care because I had a corneal abrasion which I had never experienced before. Ouch!!! Combine the injury with my psychological drama and I was an emotional mess. The entire team was wonderful ( Iffat, the medical assistant and also the receptionist, whose name I did not get). They provided an oasis of professionalism and peace. Give these healthcare workers a raise! I have an immeasurable amount of respect and appreciation for Dr. Matthew Rexinger and his team. The staff in the billing department here is EXTREMELY RUDE!! They have very UNPROFESSIONAL customer service skills. I will never come here again. Next time I am ill this will be the very last place I go just to not deal with their mistreatment after. I will go anywhere else but here. OC urgent care, your treatment was to par but I cannot say the same thing for your administrative staff or the third party who handles your billing as they are below standards in every single level imaginable. If no starts was an option to be able to submit this review comment, I would choose that option. Wow. Very disappointed with OC Urgent Care. Please if it's Urgent go somewhere else for your own well being. My provider told me in my face that she could not do anything for me and informed me I should go to the ER instead. After 10 minutes of me explaining my symptoms.. I'm really not feeling well. And it took a lot just to get here. My wife and kids couldn't stay with me due to there policy. That wasn't a big deal to me because I was under the impression this was a Real Urgent Care and I was gonna be there for a while doing test check my organs to make sure everything is alright but nope! They checked my heart rate and temperature THATS IT.. Had my family go home to have dinner. VISIT Only took 20 minutes. Only to tell them to turn back around. I'm still in pain they happily took my Co Pay for doing absolutely nothing. read more

Brandi has been great, the Dr who was an issue here is no longer with the company. Brandi has gone way out of her way to make sure she did everything she could to help take care of me. From ordering blood work stat to taking care of helping me find a specialist. I work long hours and don't have time to go to a traditional office 90% of the time. I know I'm in good hands with Brandi and the nurses there. When an NP wasn't sure what to do, she called Brandi and she was able to help and take care of everything. I'm glad she's there, and they are open late. read more

While spending the first (or any )day of vacation at a doctors office is not my ideal scenario, the wonderful staff at OC Urgent Care made the visit quite painless. After visiting several other urgent care centers with promise of being a "participating provider" , only to be bamboozled upon arrival, OC was honest and up front and provided me with quality health care. Lisa at the desk was very friendly and professional. Everything from her phone presence to her on site decorum was stellar. Brandy, the health care practitioner, was very attentive and showed genuine concern for my issue, albeit non life threatening. She was very comprehensive in her patient history and with ruling out possible diagnoses, The office itself is very clean, modern and well lit. Ample parking available in the lot. read more

I never thought I'd be writing a negative review for an established healthcare facility such as this one. The current pandemic crisis has caused many facilities, including my own clinic in which I work, to have constant need for adapting the way patients receive treatment on almost a daily basis. However, this clinic fell short on basic tasks required to facilitate my care; such as honest communication and prompt efficient documentation. I was sent by my employer to be evaluated for COVID symptoms during the first week of August. Upon my arrival I made that fact clear to ALL staff I interacted with; front desk staff, medical Assistant, and the PA who evaluated me. I was seen and tested and sent home with quarantine orders and a release to return to work 2 weeks from date of evaluation. A week later I received my results; negative. When I contacted the clinic for a change in work release, I was denied stating that it was their policy that the could not accommodate my request any sooner than 2 weeks from date of evaluation. Despite the fact that my employer ( a well know medical group known nationwide ) would permit my return as I was symptom free and negative result, they couldn't give clearance until the date specified by the Dr who evaluated me and put me off work. Now in an attempt to file my worker's compensation claim they have yet to provide ANY documentation to the insurance company responsible for my claim. I have spoken with their manager Rashid on 3 separate occasions. First I was told he had forwarded the info to the director of operations and I will be contacted once it has been reviewed. I was never contacted. I called back and Rashid assured me that the director would be calling me in regard to this matter. 3rd time on 9/8/2020 Rashid, informs me that the person who held the director position is no longer with the company and he will reach out to the "assistant" who is to then contact me. Still nothing. My deadline for your portion to be completed is 9/16/2020. I worked as an assistant manager at Marque Urgent Care for years, I get that UC doesn't do Disabilty paperwork on the daily basis, however with extenuating circumstances can be completed. In my career I have seen this only 2 times but fact remains some situations are exceptions. I haven't even been contacted in consideration of my request. The staff was properly informed from the very first initial point of contact this was work related. Either way I myself sent the documents a second time on 9/1/2020 to be completed. To date; the clinic has not even completed the required DFR form for the evaluation or any paperwork Sedgwick has requested to be provided. We are in a time where patient care is crucial and this being a COVID testing clinic should be on point with all cases involved with exposure. Clearly they are not. read more

First time ever to use an Urgent Care and I was impressed. Showed up on a Sunday afternoon with a bad ear ache. After filling out the required forms, my wait was less than 5 minutes. I had my vitals taken and shown to a room. The wait for Brandi was just a couple of minutes. Exam on my ears was thorough, pertinent questions were asked and the diagnosis well explained. The longest wait was at Ralphs for the prescription. It is great to have a resource like this for minor ailments at off-hours. I highly recommend Brandi and the staff at OC Urgent Care. read more

Dr. Brandi is amazing! My kids were extremely sick and my pediatrician could not fit them in same day. I couldn't wait any longer so I took them to Urgent Care as soon as they opened. There was no wait and the doctor immediately saw them both and gave us a proper diagnosis. Her bedside manner was incredible. She ordered my prescriptions right away and as soon as i left her office they were ready for me. So grateful to have found this place when I needed someone to help my kids the most. I switched my primary care to Dr. Salem after having so many amazing experiences with this urgent care. I actually avoided my old primary care so much so that I would only come to this urgent care for help. My old primary care would have horrible 2 hour wait times with appointment and the receptionists would never answer the phone. This urgent care made me feel important, answered any questions I had over the phone, and rarely had wait times. When they do have a bit of a wait I don't really mind because they play Disney movies :) Although every member of the staff I've interacted with have given me positive experiences, I have to give a special thank you to Dr. Tiffany. I was having a bunch of random symptoms that I didn't think were related and she decided to test my antibodies and found out I have Hashimotos Disease. Through my research the number one problem I've come across is that nobody's doctor ever thinks to test antibodies and will tell their patients to get more sleep or exercise or misdiagnose it completely. I am so grateful that someone as brillant as Dr. Tiffany works there and I really feel lucky I got to see her for her to run that test! read more

EXCELLENT Personalized Care, FAST & FRIENDLY Staff!! I came into the office last night (1/4/2018) at 6:10pm as a 'new patient' due to extreme shoulder pain from a pre-existing condition. I was kindly greeted by, not one, but two of the young ladies working the front desk. I could tell that they were both extremely busy updating charts, running insurance, answering phones, etc, however they both made it a point to briefly stop what they were doing when I walked in. They both made eye contact with me, smiled and offered me a legitimate verbal greeting - not just some under the breath 'mumble.' After completing my paperwork, my insurance had already been ran and so forth, so I was told I would be taken back shortly. There were (4) other patients in the lobby already, so I figured it would be a while. My girlfriend and I just settled in and started to watch the movie that was on. Ten (10) minutes later, a medical assistant came out and led me back to a treatment room to grab vitals and a quick medical history, etc. She was polite, professional and made sure that I was as comfortable as I could be, given the pain I was in. I appreciated the extra effort. Before leaving the room, she let me know that I would be seen shortly. Now, in past experience, I've sat for upwards of 15-20 minutes before the doctor comes in. Not the case at OC Urgent Care After only about (3) minutes, Brandi La Fleur (PA-C) came in, offered me and my girlfriend a very polite greeting and jumped right in. Throughout the course of the time I met with Brandi, she treated me with kindness & respect and made me feel like a friend or family member. Not just "one more patient for the day." After agreeing that she found it medically necessary, Brandi gave me exactly what I felt I needed, which I found very comforting. I had my prescription and was out the door by 6:55pm Not many Urgent Care locations will treat you like a personal friend AND get you in and out the door in (45) minutes! FIVE STARS & TWO THUMBS UP!! My wife and daughter went here for their Covid-19 test, and was billed $639 per person (this is not a rapid testing but the usual 3 day result test). Bill included $275 'Office Visit' which they didn't see any doctor but just picked up testing kit and did the swap themselves (testing kit was billed $364). My insurance wouldn't cover total 'Office Visit' charge so we ended up having to pay $107.89 per person. To give reader a comparison, CVS charges a total of $139 for regular Covid-19 test ($100 for test processing and $39 for admin charge). OC Urgentcare charges more than 4.5 times what CVS charges for the same test which insurance wouldn't pay for all because even insurance company thinks it's outrages. If this place is not a rip-off, I don't know what it is. read more
