So, so excellent. I got messages/quotes from several other companies, but was not happy with the way they were messaging and general lack of down-to-earthiness. Ryan reached out and came to set up a free estimate ASAP. We did a hardline ethernet connection (wall plate) from the router to another room, and it was a difficult job. It was not able to be finished in one session, but Ryan set up a time to come back again with no change to the original estimate and explained everything thoroughly as it was happening. Ryan was awesome! Back story - I am a DIYer and I had purchased a "simple to install" smart irrigation controller. I spent somewhere around three hours (no joke) trying to figure out with customer service how to get it to talk to my router. They gave up before I did. Because I applied for a rebate, the rebate company decided to come and see if it was really working and here it was laying on a shelf in my garage. Back to square one, I e-mailed a couple of places all the while my frustration growing. One guy offered to come out and "look at it" for $75. I had already looked at it and it wasn't getting any better. Ok fast forward- I called Ryan on advice from another and he responded quickly. He was timely and professional and before he even showed up he said he could get it fixed. Music to my ears! He came out to my house letting me know when he was going to arrive and tested a few things to make sure the idea he had would work. His idea was great because it fit into our budget and needs better than one I thought could possibly work. Because our issue involved more time he asked if it was okay to return the next day and did so, got the job done - irrigation controller working! Ryan still wasn't satisfied because our router was running slow even though he got it to do what I wanted. I'd been considering getting some Unifi gear recently to improve my home network and also wanted to get ethernet run to several rooms in my house. Rather than attempt to DIY it I hired Ryan for the job and I'm super glad I did. He was very easy to work with, had all the tools and experience to get it done right, and did a fantastic job. He ran ethernet to two rooms, set me up with two access points, a switch and gateway, and also installed a very professional (and nicely wired!) rack in my network/homelab closet. He was extremely accommodating of my schedule, asked me for feedback/preferences throughout the process, paid a ton of attention to detail, cleaned up after the job and stopped by after the installation to advise and work with me on fine-tuning the system. I'd been temporarily using the stock AT&T all-in-one box before, which made a gigabit fiber line feel like an overloaded coffee shop network. After he was done, it's been rock solid over both ethernet and wifi. I also really appreciated that he didn't uncharge on equipment; he just gave me a parts list and let me order what we needed ahead of the job.
