Writing a review because the service was exceptional and although I didn't love the plate I got, they were amazing. We started out with the plantains with crab which were amazing. And the little shot of the ceviche juice was so good I asked for an extra one. My friend got the chairs rice and she loved it, I got the crispy fish in a sauce with rice but it was unfortunately too think for my liking. Adan was our server and led us through an amazing meal!!! We started with a delicious appetizer - then moved to Ceviche - and finished with risotto. Excellent service and great food, what more could you want? Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted and brought to a table to sit. Our waitress was wonderful and attentive, she immediately brought us water, toasted corn, and leche de tigre. The menu has a great array of Peruvian options, but not too many that it is overwhelming. We ordered los amigos del doctor, which was a great variety of causas - all delicious in their own way! Then, we had arroz chaufa mixta, which came with seafood, beef, and chicken. Such good flavor. Started with the yuca which I probably wouldn't get again just because it's your average yuca fries. They were still good though. For dinner I had the poke tuna bowl and it was my first time having tuna. Loved it, the bowl was a little sweet and all the toppings worked really well together. The rice with crab was delicious and tasted a little like paella, amazing. Also the portion sizes are really big, definitely enough to take some home. Honestly.... one of the ways to my heart is leche de Tigre. So of course a place that STARTS you off with a leche de Tigre shot gets my vote. My phone was dying this day so I didn't get to take many photos but of course I got a photo of their ceviche. Which was amazing, might I add. I can't wait until I'm back! read more

The tiger milk is absolutely fantastic- which made us try the 3 ceviche sampler- all 3 were amazing!! I love Peruvian food. I hadn't been to Dr. Limón, I don't know how I had never been to this delicious place before that. Five stars, great food, great drinks, great service. I went for the first time with a friend for lunch. I was impressed, I came back for Valentine's Day. I went alone #datingmyself and still got treated like I was important . I was a little nervous at first since there were heart shaped balloons and love everywhere.... They made me feel so special! Even gave me a shot on the house. Loved it again, Therefore decided to take my brother for his birthday. My family and him (we are Peruvian, tough critics) LOVED IT. SO TASTY!!!! Prices are also really reasonable. It's a little small, but not overwhelmingly tiny. It's fairly open because of the windows, the natural light hits just right. Safe to say, they gained some regulars. read more

Every time time we've ate here it's always been a great experience. I don't know if it's just me but I find the food to really good and it's like it getting better every time I come. It's always good. I tried the fish ceviche with yellow sauce they give you in a shot glass. My honest opinion,,,,, it was different. Tad bit saucy but it mixed well the fish. Added medio picante and boom, that's the last of it. Ate it all. Only thing I felt was missing was a tiny bit more of those thinly chopped red onions. I did feel it being very small amount of onions, but hey that's just me. The fried rice was bomb, just ordered the beef fried rice. Definitely hit the spot nicely. I was super excited to try this place after looking through the yelp reviews but sadly the fish was not fresh. When I eat bad fish I get an itch in my throat that last a couple days from linger bacteria of fish that isn't fresh. The service was very good. The staff was friendly, helpful, and quick. They have a nice drink menu. A decent selection of wines and cocktails, as well as a few craft beers. The food menu had a bigger selection than I expected. It was hard to choose. We settled on the mixed ceviche in 3 different flavors/sauces. It had a tender fish, calamari, and shrimp. There was a bowl of the most common ceviche flavor, one in a yellow sauce, and one in an orange sauce. It came with a side of Peruvian corn, hominy, and sweet potatoes. Everything was delicious. We have ordered from Dr. Limon several times but today we switched it up and order all new items! When I asked my boyfriend "Which one is your favorite?" he said "I can't choose. There isn't anything here I don't like!" And that pretty much sums up our delicious meal!! Dr. Limon is a great option for any meal, any time, any day! The pulpo was delicious. The ceviche trio was classic! And because I couldn't choose between shrimp or tuna in my roll, I ordered the Tropical roll which had shrimp, tuna and salmon. WHAT A DELICIOUS ROLL!!! So new location, bright modern decor, an open concept, and still the great flavor! This shopping plaza can get packed with all the great eats here but there's always parking available on the rooftop of the plaza. Walking in your greeted by hostess and seated. I was meeting my parents on this evening so they already had a table. I do recommend maybe bringing a light cardigan if you get cold easily as we had to move our table cause the AC was pumping. As seated you get complimentary leche de tigre shots and the salted (I believe roasted)corn kernels (I know some call it tostadas). Great way to start off. We decided to share some appetizers as a main course since the portions are shareable size. We started off with their yucitos huancaina appetizer ( fried casava croquettes with a cheese like sauce) they were so good and not greasy for being fried. Next we had an order of tostones de congrejo (fried plaintains with crab and topped with this amazing sauce). I would've been satisfied with this alone. It was delicious, ALL flavors on point and it's real crab. This is a must order as an appetizer or be daring and just have it as a meal it was that damn good! So for our main courses my stepdad ordered the seafood chaufa and mom and I shared their fire and ice. It was way to much food and winded up taking home leftovers but it was soooooo good! The seafood chaufa was delish but that fire and ice platter(paella rice, ceviche, fried seafood chunks, and fried ceviche balls) won my heart. Everything was so tasty and I highly recommend that platter as it's like a sampler of all their best dishes in one. Dr. Limon is still a top spot for some really great food and ceviches, it just doesn't get any better than this! read more

I love the freshness of their food here. I have dined in and have ordered take out here countless times. The ceviche is always made to order and super tasty. You can tell the difference between the ceviche here. The fish doesn't have that taste and texture that indicates it has been pre-made sitting in a bunch of lime juice. Instead, Dr. Limón does made to order ceviche and my go to flavors are Aji Amarillo and Rocoto. When pared with their Beef chaufa you have a delicious and refreshing Peruvian meal. Visited Dr. Limon for the first time ever and it was absolutely AMAZING! We tried several dishes at our table of 6. We tried the lomo saltado, tallarines verdes, a combo dish that had 4 varieties, and a few desserts. Everyone at the table was pleased with the food. So many flavors! The fried ceviche was delicious! This Dr. Limon location is one of the few that has ample space inside. Our service and food was phenomenal. I really e joyed the passion fruit shake they have... they make it with and without milk. Trust me it's that good! Appetizers we had the fried yuca with their house yellow pepper sauce along with the mix ceviche in 4 different sauces. Ceviche is very good! As for our entrees... we sll tired the Loko salteado, mixed chaufa, jalea mixta, pesto pasta eith churrasco and salmon. Literally nothing that we tried disappointed us. I just got ceviche this time for a light lunch and it was so fresh and flavorful it is now the highlight of my day. today the restaurant had no AC and I guess paying for a sunday AC repair is too much. Fair warning the restaurant classifies 5 guest as a large party to force a 18% tip. No one at the restaurant told us this before and its not written in any visible place. Manager stated that they can classify any group size as large and can force a tip.
