The meals the staff makes are delicious and quite varied, and of course the special holiday and birthday celebrations are a delightful treat as are the fun afternoon activities of music or games or crafts. The owner is always coming in to say hello and chat with the residents as well as with the staff and is always looking for ways to make your experience even better. I feel safe and comfortable here and especially knowing that someone is working at night in case you need anything. I can't say enough great things about the experience here, but to summarize, being here allows you to continue a good quality of life and feels like home.

He didn't have to spend 26 minutes on the phone with me patiently explaining information but he did! After that call, I felt like I talked to an angel; I felt so blessed! The house and interior seems newly renovated and well maintained. It is aesthetically pleasing with modern colors and decor. The rooms are personalized with each residents personal photos and memorabilia to make it their "home." What makes this place so wonderful is the caring/loving owner, manager and staff. Ruth the owner is very down to earth and has a very hands on approach involving resident care and safety. Most owners of these board and cares don't visit the place and just have someone manage it. Ruth is not so, I see her frequently at the house bringing goodies in for residents, checking in to ensure her staff are ok and any concerns are addressed. I work mostly with Kim (manager), Theresa and Courtney (care staff). Kim is sweet, caring, involved with patient care and safety and always there to support her staff. Despite of crazy days and chaos she encounters, she never brings it to work and always has a smile on her face. She goes above and beyond to ensure her residents are not just clients but family. She truly cares for her residents and that is the heart of this field. Theresa is always so gentle and patient with my little lady there. Courtney is fairly new to the house but she is also very sweet and friendly with the residents. This place has a lot of different activities to keep their residents entertained, minds active and improve quality of life. If you are looking for a place for your loved one and budget allows, I would highly recommend this place.

As a former Skilled Nursing Director, I knew it would be hard to find not just a care facility but a true community for her. She was my main concern. From the moment we arrived, we found exactly that! Danika, the Director, leads with compassion and strength. Olivia, the coordinator, brings a level of organization that made the transition feal seamless. Julie the secretary, greeted us with warmth every day. Making The Shores feel like home. Kaytlin, the activities director is slowly bringiing my non social mother back into life with her creativity and genuine joy. The employees ooze happiness with their jobs. The service is exceptional and its truly is a 5 star resort for the elderly. The menus are beyond brilliant and the food quality is a chefs kiss! The entertainment is beyond amazing, with numerous grand events to entertain family and the residents. Vivante isn't just an Assisted Living or Memory care facility. It is a touch of elegance that I am putting my name on the waiting list soon! I couldn't be happier with the care my mother is receiving. The employees go above and beyond to make each resident feel loved! I couldn't be more gratful that Vivante has walked alongside our family in such a vulnerable time! You made a very difficult situation a seamless effort to make my mother content and happy. I can literally relax now and live my life in peace. The unsubstantiated is because no resident is going to tell the truth about what really goes on, understandably, they have to live there. Beware of the owner Jose Umana and the Administrator Elsa Roman. They come off very professionally and compassionated. They really don't care about anything but your money. Our placing agent recommended Magnolia Palms. We end to check it out and the owners Kim and Chris were very patient with myself and my family. They answered all our questions made us feel at ease that my family member will be well cared especially since we were not local. Setting up the contract was pretty straight forward and they are electronically savvy. The facility is brand new very comfortable. The rooms are pretty good size and very clean. The staff there was very attentive and addressed all needs. We lived up north and never worried about our family member's care. We were extremely happy and felt they treated us like family. The facility director then asked us to leave as we were "not invited" by the resident whose cell phone and address book had been taken away. Feels a lot like prison. Can't be good for our friend's mental or physical well being. Police were then blocked from doing a mental health check.
