The facility itself is very clean & comfortable the receptionist very nice. I Scheduled a 65 minute massage with Brinley was the worst massage I've had in my life & I have massages often but I'm not even sure if you could call it a massage. Brinley could use some skills in basic touch even if she does not know how to Massage or where the key points are for releasing lactic acid you would think she could perform basic touch therapy for relaxing but she wasn't capable of that either. I felt no different from the moment I entered the place to the time I left if other than frustrated and a complete waste of 65 minutes. If she has a license in massage therapy I would hope that maybe she was just having a really bad day and was basically falling asleep while she was pushing on me Otherwise she should choose another career. I still tipped her but will not be going back again. The receptionist was very kind and discounted the cost due to my experience so that was much appreciated. read more

I felt like I pulled my back out during pilates and was able to get same day massage here. I was able to just call and schedule a massage over the phone. Once I arrived, I was greeted with a smile, offerings of water, coffee, or tea, while I filled out the form and sat in this really serene waiting room. From there, I was escorted into the massage room and got a great 1-hour massage to get out all the knots and kinks in my neck and back. Beth is one of the best massage therapists anywhere, and Raquel and Sarah give truly unbelievable facials and the prices are really decent. I have been here before and I loved it but am disappointed. They canceled my appointment last minute and didn't offer to reschedule or any sort of accommodation. I'm wondering if it's because I told them I had psoriasis on my forehead. Before scheduling my appointment I called and left a message about wanting to make an appointment and mentioned that I had psoriasis and I never got a call back. I was able make an appointment a few days later with another message (they called back) but didn't mention the psoriasis till I got a call back and finally made my appointment and was canceled last minute. read more

This was my second visit to Ocean Day Spa for a facial. I booked the Eminence Luxury Facial and it was heavenly. I almost fell asleep as it was so relaxing with the soothing music and lighting. Raquel cleansed, exfoliated, did some gentle extractions, and applied multiple heavenly smelling masques, lotions and creams to create a radiant glow for me. Raquel is highly experienced and knows exactly what your skin needs to look and feel your best. The spa offers a great line of organic skin products from Hungary for sale, although they are a little pricey for my budget. The Eminence eye creams are fabulous! Okay so I hadn't been in several years, but this has always been my favorite massage therapy spa. I've referred many people, even though I wasn't going myself. Fast forward to this week. I tweaked my back pretty good on Sunday at the gym. Stupid mistake, 100% my fault. I. WAS. IN. PAIN. I have a new puppy and a special needs son and my husband obviously has to work. Everything was on me, and I looked like a freaking hunchback. I couldn't stand up straight, and stretching was excruciating. I have a really high pain tolerance, but by Tuesday I couldn't take it anymore. So my husband told me to go to urgent care and get a Todarol shot. (Norcos make me sick, and they weren't working anyways.). The shot was 100% ineffective! After I couldn't take it anymore, I decided to try cupping (never had it) and looked up the menu here. Fortunately they had something available right away. I normally can't relax with a male massage therapist, but I needed help. REMI WAS AMAZING! He asked all the right questions, and made me feel comfortable enough to actually request pressure changes as needed. You guys, I CAN WALK PAIN FREE!!! I'm so happy I almost wanna cry again. I literally feel so much better!! It's actually ridiculous that I went to urgent care, and restrengthened my disdain for medicines and drugs. They rarely help!! Obviously if you are diseased, rely on your doctor and medicine. But if you can find a resource for healing non-viral/bacterial/cancerous ailments without medicine, please do so! You're only creating more problems by only treating symptoms and not treating the CAUSE of your problems. Find it, fix it, don't replicate the problem again. Remi, thank you so much!
