I have so wanted to have a North County spa experience that is similar to my best cruise spa memories and or my Palm Springs spa-cations This is it!!! My initial service was the express hydra facial with EV light add on. The end result: no redness, super hydrated, no acne impurities, pores minimized; my skin felt and looked absolutely renewed! The professionalism is so apparent from the time you enter the space. Their knowledge and use of current technology to achieve the results you desire is enhanced by their delivery of service. No pressure to do more than you can afford. But I appreciate that you are given information about various services to assist you with your skincare goals. They offer so many services: scalp massage therapy using Japanese beauty products; lymphatic massage therapy for allergies and fluid buildup in our face and body; body massage therapy for the timid for the go deeper kinda folks like me. Lastly, I have to mention the infrared sauna. You can reserve it for yourself, a couple or maybe a bridal party. If you are like me and have been searching for the perfect spa without traveling out of North County then this is your spot. Oh!!! Went here for a couples massage and facials, and both were amazing. The receptionist was incredibly kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxing and much nicer than I expected--it truly felt like a resort spa experience, with very clean and upscale waiting areas and treatment rooms. The massage itself was perfect. The pressure was just right, and she checked in throughout to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying it. There were multiple times I almost fell asleep because I felt so relaxed. The facial was also spectacular. Even my boyfriend said my skin looked glowing afterward. For the quality, value, and overall atmosphere, the prices are very reasonable. I'm sad I'm not a local, or I'd probably be here at least once a month. read more

The service was absolutely amazing here. All the staff here are super sweet and friendly. The place is very clean and had calming music. They provided complimentary snacks and drinks in the waiting room as well. I got the Scalp Treatment care and the specialist, Ella, gave me a really relaxing scalp message and ensured that I was comfortable. My boyfriend and I had a couples massage at Serenity Retreat and Spa today, and it was such a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful, warm, and welcoming, which set the tone for a relaxing visit. I had my massage with Sophia and my boyfriend saw Ella, both therapists were fantastic. We chose the Hot Stones as an Add On to both of our services, which was great. They each had great strength, checked in regularly to make sure the pressure was comfortable, and seemed very intuitive about the areas that needed extra attention. We both left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Our only regret is not booking the 90-minute session instead of the 60! The facilities were also beautiful -- very clean, well-maintained, and services are reasonably priced. We highly recommend Serenity Retreat and Spa and will definitely be returning! read more

Beautiful spa with great customer service! I'm not typically a huge massage person, but being in my third trimester of pregnancy my body felt so achey so I booked a couples massage for my birthday, with mine being a prenatal massage and it was wonderful. The spa itself is gorgeous, clean, and service is great. We left feeling super relaxed and like maybe we are massage people after all. They also carry great brands like Dermalogica and Milbon. Took me awhile to decide about leaving review...I was Very excited as I had received a Mother's Day package that was prepaid, scheduled with times for the back to back services, and a card on file. My husband was told that all I had to do was walk in and provide my name, he took care of everything. Arrived on time and the lady in front couldn't find me in the system, she asked what services and I said idk it was the Mother's Day package and she seemed that she didn't even know what that meant. I was told all I had to do was say my name & everything would be there. She scrambled to figure out the order of services, nothing was explained to me as I had no idea since it was all a surprise treat. By the time I got to the massage and it had ended, I was told they double booked for a facial and that I can lay there and nap "normally we would charge you to take a nap while u wait, but not for you". I was told it'd be 15 mins max before somebody would come get me from the room. I fell asleep, fortunately I woke and checked the time, it was past 30mins of waiting and it seemed nobody remembered me. I got dressed and went to the front desk as I had to leave to be somewhere else. It seemed that there was no communication and my facial had to be rescheduled. I was disappointed as that is what I was looking forward to. They the. Asked for payment to which I said there was a card on file but I don't physically have it. More confusion. When I arrived the following week for the facial, still some confusion and I was annoyed and felt heavy for coming back. I did not want to be back as it was a bad experience the week prior.I only did because my husband went through the trouble of planning and paid. I was given a complimentary lip treatment for my troubles. (Not a discount or extra time for a massage or discount for future service etc. I didn't want a lip treatment. I wasn't asked anything, it was just done. I was just overwhelmed and emotional (also 4 months postpartum) I left feeling sad and more stressed because of the experience. Again there was issues with payment and I needed to provide my card since I didn't have the physical card on file. My husband needlessly to say was upset given my experience. Extremely disappointed and left a lasting impact/sour taste that does not encourage future visits. read more

I've always wanted to get into facials, and after coming across this new place, I decided to give it a try and it exceeded my expectations. The space is very clean, calm, and relaxing, and every staff member I interacted with was incredibly sweet and helpful. My aesthetician, Amy, did my facial and her service was a 10 out of 10. She was so kind, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely comfortable in my skin. Even a couple of days later, my skin still looks more hydrated, less puffy, and I had no bad reactions at all. I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment for the same day. After a quick tour of the beautiful space I got a head spa treatment. The room felt really peaceful and private. I loved the relaxing massage bed that they turned on while I got the most luxurious, incredible scalp massage and hair wash treatment. The high end Japanese products smell amazing and feel great. I already booked my next visit with their new infrared sauna and massage package. I was also intrigued by the HydraFacial machine and I might do that for my wife. read more

My husband just left here and said he should've just paid the $25 to cancel prior to the appointment because his back hurts more than it did before his massage. The masseuse kept asking if he wanted "more pressure" and he would tell her less but she wouldn't change pressure. He said it hurt and the massage seemed all over the place. read more
