Gorgeous views, beautiful surroundings. The resort is a crown jewel on the Cape. Amenities are fabulous, food was excellent and hospitality was great. If you are a member of the Hilton rewards they have started a new partnership and you can receive points and rewards as a Hilton Honors member.

The interesting and nice things are that it has amazing amenities and choices of things to do. The not so nice is for the very high prices you get paper thin walls and people loudly walking on your head at night above you to keep you awake. To add to it the heat and air conditioning units are old style motel and extremely loud. So loud that you wake up dozens of times during the night and lose a lot of sleep. I would have thought it would have been central air but alas that's only a dream.

Barely warm water here requires 5 trips from the kitchen to the tub to get it hot

It had been awhile since we were back in the area and Oceans Edge seemed like a perfect spot for a quick one night stay. The rooms are dated, but seemed clean and provided everything we wanted ... except hot water. Without having used any hot water, we tried to draw a bath. It didn't work until we used every pot and pan to bring boiling water in about ten trips to the tub. The manager was apologetic and even offered us an extra night stay for free at an upgraded room. We followed up in person twice and through three calls and they never called us back, so we went onto the next stop of our trip. We would give it another try, as maybe this was a one off error, but I'm not holding my breath. (I'll edit this if they ever do contact us again) If you're looking for a room and don't care about this sort of thing, give it a try. Maybe you'll get lucky. If nothing else, there are really good restaurants in the area

3 stars due to disorganization and lack of communication at the resort...however, as noted at the end, would come back. No Yelp page for Roscommon so writing on here. My boyfriend's fish entree (Halibut) could have used a side of veggies and some more sauce. My native haddock was good. I wasn't expecting basically home fries as lobster potato salad however very tasty and different in a good way. Two very tiny pieces of lobster in there. Restaurant is Small. Only maybe ten tables and the bar. I came to the resort as a kid and have fond memories. 30 years later, this past Friday-Tuesday we stayed in Blueberry pond villages room on the top level. Nice room. Front desk doesn't tell you much unless asked when you check in and it's a Large place. Not much parking In Our unit. We had to park in the no park area in front of our place on the weekend. We asked for late checkout and at 11am the cleaning ladies were not aware we asked for that and were knocking on the door so they had to wait an hour for us. I felt bad but we were told late checkout was fine. Beach shuttle. Oh my god. We had no idea where to meet the shuttle. Assumed the front desk. Nope. Shuttle pick up spots in designated areas. The front desk said it runs every 20 min. The driver said every hour. Ok. He dropped us off at 2 o'clock at the beach and we said we would be back waiting for him at 3 o'clock so at 2:58 he apparently dropped someone off at the beach and took off without us when we got there right at three and he told us he would wait for us a few extra minutes. Sooo we waited an hour for him in the parking lot. Enraged. When he came back at 4 o'clock... he apologized and said there was a miscommunication with the dispatcher, but yeah, I kept calling the front desk and asking where he was and they said he was on his way. On that note, half the time the front desk does not pick up because I called numerous times and no one picked up the phone. Mansion pool is small with screaming kids but it's nice they put towels out for you. Other pools ok. Two hot tubs were out of commission for days. Bins of dirty towels full for what seemed like days outside. Visible for the public to see. Need to clean the bugs in the back stairwells leading down to the pond. Quite gross. Tried to paddle board and it says open until 6 but we went down to blueberry Pond rental at 5 and the shack was closed. Rentals and using facilities and where to go was not communicated well. Ocean terrace beautiful and was a nice place to go at night. Love the fires on the deck. Beach Bar is stunning. Loved the view there. Cute place overall. Just needs better communication. Even with all the mishaps I would come back. Now that I know the drill. Spent a lot of time trying to figure the place out.

Wizarding Week 2025: All the best people and features: The main characters: "Dumbledore", Professor Steve, Professor Cory "McGonagall", Professor Carolyn. The Ros Common waitstaff: especially Brittany W (most attentive and made the best Butter Beer) and Ricky B (very attentive and friendly). The front desk at check-in and check-out, the concierge during the scavenger hunt, and all the staff in the main and ancillary halls, and the cleaning staff - all friendly smiles while being efficient in their work. Check-in: the customized letter, the chocolate toads! And all the smiles and welcomes! The room: perfect setup for grandparents and a young wizard. "I love this room!" our wizard exclaimed. Grandma loved the bath tub! And more chocolates with a welcome note - much appreciated. AND later in the day, a Happy 8th Birthday balloon and cookies for our young wizard. She was so very grateful to be welcomed and remembered. "Best Birthday Ever!" The Sorting Hat Ceremony was joyful and felt so real. Our wizard was expecting she'd be a Gryffindor, but was actually sorted a Ravenclaw. After we downloaded the Ravenclaw traits and read them to her - she was delighted that the sorting hat was correct! She IS a Ravenclaw!!! And she proceeded to run over to other Ravenclaws to introduce herself. I wonder if you realize how valuable a lesson you gave the young wizards, by sorting them into many houses (not just Harry's Gryffindor) - it taught them so many lessons about being flexible and making new friends in unexpected ways. The crafts were fun, even with a glue gun glitch during wand making - great pivot to paint! The scavenger hunt brought surprises and collaboration among the staff and fellow parents and young wizards. "Look up!" was a popular hint. The movies were relaxed and joyful - thanks for that most excellent flavored rock candy and popcorn. Never had such flavorful rock candy before - where did you get it?! The pool was clean and another place for wizards to make friends while parents and grandparents caught their breath. And at check-out - more cookies and a nice note asking us to come back soon! And finally - signing up and making special requests for a West Wing room was easy and pleasant. We will be back - we promise

I stayed for a long weekend with my wife and two kids. We were in the Arbor villages part of the resort which is across from the mansion and about a 7 minute drive. Our room was nice with a large queen bed and the living room was good size. We enjoyed the kitchen and made good use of it. The rooms are a little dated, but we are not fancy people. We enjoyed being close to the Arbor pool, which was very nice. The beach was a short drive and you had an option to take the shuttle. The mansion has valet which makes it easy to visit if you have restaurant reservations. The beach was nice and the servers were great. I can see why a lot of people go there for the sunsets. It is really beautiful and by far our favorite thing about the resort. We had great family time walking on the beach, enjoying the sunset and hanging on the beach in the late afternoon. I can't wait to go back

Every single time we visited, the service has been impeccable and I find it hard to think about any other resort that can get even close to Wequassett. The grounds are perfectly kept and the rooms have been recently renovated. And although, there's a trend even with classic high-end resorts (St. Regis, J.W., Ritz-Carlton) to make their renovations a little too modern for my taste, Wequassett successfully kept their old school charm. We always stay at their Signature Water View King rooms (and book well in advance as there's only a few of these) so I can't speak of other room types. The amenities are flawless and even though the main pool gets VERY crowded during summer weekends, the pool attendant always found 2 chairs for us. My only recommendation for this property is to have a backup plan for the main pool. Perhaps installing a deck and adding some more chairs there to accommodate more guests that prefer the beach vs. the pool.

Sincerely the best of any resort we've stayed at -Genuinely friendly staff -The cleaning crew was phenomenal and didn't miss a spot The not-so-good: -Paper thin walls. We were woken up multiple nights because the upstairs guests were walking around. Yes, plain footsteps - not even stomping - were very audible. For close to 1k a night, this shouldnt have happened. My cheap grad school duplex apartment didn't even have walls this thin! -Friction prevented us from giving the resort more money. There's room service but no menu in the room and it wasn't easily found online either. And we were so ready to drop a good amount of money on poolside drinks and food but nobody waited on us both times we were at the pool. (They did happen to wait on the social media star who was present, which was very obvious, and we made eye contact with another family who shrugged because they hadn't been waited on either.) And finally the coffee shop closed at noon. We would have happily patronized the shop for a treat and a coffee and were disappointed to find it closed so early. -Our perception was that there was nothing going on at the Wequassett. We stayed in June (and received the May newsletter; perhaps that would've given us more info if we had the correct one?) We had expected the poolside bar to be open. Maybe some live music. Smores for the kids by the fire (we would've purchased this.) So many opportunities for improvement! We stayed at the cliff house in Maine last year and there was a number displayed around the resort that you could text and they'd send a message with info about was going on at the hotel that week! Such a memorable touch - Wequasset could consider something like this. All in all, not awful, but not blow-your-socks-off fantastic, either. Just plain average in the realm of resorts.

So, yeah... this is definitely going to be a mixed review for Brewster Green Resort…read more... Our unit was a 2bd/2ba, and super duper spacious it was... full amenities, as in washer/dryer, full kitchen, both a breakfast nook and a formal dining table, smart layout to the unit, closets galore, hair dryer...... But our particular given unit, 24 #90D was plastered with impregnated smoke that we all loathed... severely. We kept windows open at all times to push out what could not be pushed out... not in the carpet, the sofa, armchair, or the walls. Bugger. The bathrooms were very wonderful... very clean, fluffy, thick white towels and nice sized....however, in the kitchen, there wasn't even a chopping board or a colander (or even salt/pepper!) for the night that we cooked up our massive seafood fest. Also, the knives in the block were cheap as can be, and about to fall apart, literally.True that the property provided lobster pot and crackers and other unique lobster-getting devices. 2 large flat screen TVs were a nice touch, especially when we watched a few new releases...and there is also a stereo, DVD player, and VCR included. ZIPPO sundries of any sort provided, outside of lame hand soap. Bring your own shampoo, creams, toothpaste, and such. There is a semi-enclosed backyard that can be accessed both from the master suite as well as from the living room space. Nice. 2 grills out there as well as a table and 4 chairs. I read my Brothers Karamazov in the morning with some Dunkin Donuts coffee. Overall, happy with the unit were it not for the smoke, and the fact that truly utilizing that kitchen is a challenge as well as frustrating. Clubhouse in the front has an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna. Very dated indeed....Tennis courts, indoor volleyball, and outdoor pool for later in the summer. If you're in the mind for an 'Anne of Green Gables'-type setting with lush ponds around and equestrian center bordering it.... then this extremely quiet and expansive older property on the green is it for you. PS Super close to the 6A, very near to Orleans, which has great things. Brewster itself is much smaller and has a few galleries and such in its town. Also not too far from historic Chatham and only about 20 mins to the beginning of the CC National Seashore, and about 50 to Provincetown! PPS Strangest occurrence, true story: we were all playing Settlers of Catan, and a gardener came straight up to the side window (he must have not known we were inside the dining room) and took a leak (no exaggeration) with his pants down and all, with his backside to us as we watched, less than 3 feet away from us. Weird and shocking, we started yelling at him to stop, that he can't do that, etc. Considered ratting on him to the management, but didn't.

The bedroom features an oversized California King bed, a desk and chair, television and lounge chair with ottoman. Beautiful French double doors lead to one of the loveliest features of the room which is a private deck with chairs. The living room has a delightful fireplace, comfortable sofa and another television. There is also a tastefuly done little kitchenette which was stocked with dishes and glassware as well as a mini fridge. And off the living room is the attractive bathroom stocked with toiletries and comfortable robes. Right outside our room was a Flavia coffee and tea maker as well as another refrigerator with complimentary creamer, soda and bottled water. The table in our bedroom also had a complimentary decanter of sherry and two scrumptious chocolate truffles were left on our pillows each evening. Although most of the inn's rooms are in a separate building a few steps away, breakfast is served each morning in the main house and in the company of Harrison, the inn's resident and well behaved Labradoodle. An afternoon sweet treat of cake or cookies is also provided in the main house and there's always a bowl of chocolates if you need a sweet to tide you over. We had the bad luck to not have the inn-keepers, Donna and Byron, in residence during most of our stay as they'd suffered a death in the family and were out of state. However, they'd left clear instruction with their staff about our arrival and we were warmly greeted and welcomed. During our stay, the staff was quick to answer questions about the area and to provide restaurant recommendations. The room itself also contained a lot of information about local attractions and restaurants. The night before our last day we came back to our room to find a complimentary bottle of champagne and note from the innkeepers with their sincere regrets for having been away during our stay. That was a very nice touch and was greatly appreciated. On the down side, we actually didn't think much of the breakfasts as they were largely flavorless and frequently included microwaved bacon. We wondered if the food suffered due to Donna's absence because she was billed as the cook. Both Donna and Byron were back on our last morning and it was Donna who prepared our breakfast that day. The food did improve under her stewardship but we'd still say it compared poorly to other B&B's we've visited. Our room, though lovely, did have some oddities. All the plumbing fixtures were installed backwards so that all handles turned in an atypical direction and the shower pipe was loose which restricted some of the water pressure. The impression was that the work had not been professionally done. In the bedroom, the bed was oddly situated with one side far too close to the wall despite more than ample room on the other side. It made it uncomfortable for the person sleeping on that side to get in and out of bed. Finally, we do have somewhat of a pet peeve with inn-keepers who advertise suites, which should be two separate rooms divided by a door, even though the room does not meet that criteria. In this case, the only separation between the bedroom and living room was a screen. Nevertheless, the inn was quite nice and Donna and Byron were charming hosts who had trained their staff well. Brewster is located mid-Cape and convenient for day trips to Hyannis and Provincetown which makes this a good choice for a place to stay and there are some lovely beaches right by the inn. Overall we enjoyed our stay on Cape Cod very much.

From the hand-peeled roasted tomatoes, which added a burst of flavor that perfectly complemented the meal, to the delightful lime zest sugar topping, that provided the perfect balance of sweetness and citrusy brightness. Breakfast was visually stunning and incredibly flavorful, showcasing the care that went into every dish. The Candleberry Inn is a Diamond that exceeds expectations in every way. The combination of gracious hosts, caring staff, impeccable attention to detail, and a beautiful setting makes it a must-visit destination. You will want for nothing when you stay here and will leave feeling truly pampered. We can't wait to return for another enchanting getaway! Thank you Marco, Angelo and Staff. Brava & much love.

It would be a travesty to not rate this charming inn anything but 5-stars. And here is why…read more First of all the inn is beautiful, well appointed, and the building and grounds are well manicured and taken care. Second, the innkeepers themselves are very friendly and accommodating. Marco, Angelo and Steffi are delights to be around and talk to. They are more than willing to share their insights into activities on the Cape and places to visit. They are fonts of knowledge. As well as fun to talk to. Third the breakfasts are exceptional. Angelo is the master chef behind a varied and healthy breakfast. It was a treat each morning we stayed. A fruit course followed by the main breakfast. Fourth, speaking of treats. Each afternoon a small box labeled with our names with a bake good of some sort was waiting for us in the inn. They were delicious and much looked forward to. Fifth, the sleeping room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a small but adequate bathroom. We had access to an outdoor veranda/porch sitting area, which we took advantage of each day. This small inn is a real treasure in Brewster. I highly recommend it.
