This was a surprise treat to me for lunch.. and a treat it was. Sat at the bar with Jillian as our bartender. She was great and really personable and really knew the menu!! Started with clam chowder which was tasty but just a bit too much potato for us.. I know clams are pricy but up the price maybe and have less potatoes and more clams and you will have perfection! We both had the chicken Milanese from the luncheon specials menu which was delicious with a mushroom risotto..with sweet roasted cloves of garlic.. my god who does that.. so yummy. There was a light lemony sauce with it.. YUM!! We had dinner here a couple of months ago and it too was yummy. This was my first time here, and I was pleasantly surprised! We stopped in on a Saturday evening for drinks, and the bar was full! The inside is cozy and well decorated, with comfortable bar seats. We ordered the peanut butter and pistachio martinis at the bar and they were delicious! Will defintely be back in the summer to try some of the food. read more

Most likely won't be coming back. It wasn't all bad we started with the steak frites app and it was very good, old would feed about two people though. For an entree I got the sweet potato gnocchi and it was unfortunately very dry gnocchi the sausage on it was very good tho but the dry gnocchi really ruined it. My partner got the baked haddock and said it was very good and very flavorful. For drinks we just got soft drinks( Pepsi and a cran juice) and was a little shocked to see that they charged us for our refills. I feel most places won't charge for a refill of a soft drink. Our server was ok nothing crazy only refilled our drinks once and didn't ask when they were empty. Paid $12 for the salad and another $12 for the tips - of which I received 3 mediocre pieces of steak. Not a great value. Server was nice but gave us the wrong bill and gave those around us the wrong bills as well. Overall, great atmosphere and location. Sandwiches looked good. My son in law took me to the Ocean House as his high school friend Bryan is the owner. I had just a wonderful time! The clam chowder was the best I've ever had in my life and I've had a few (I'm 91) . Food was OUTSTANDING. Every dish had unique and well thought out flavor combinations. We had the Brussels sprout appetizer 10/10. For dinner we have the honey truffle chicken and the autumn raviolis. Both amazing. Service needed to come up a couple notches to match the food. Our server was lovely and sweet but we had to ask for our waters to be refilled several times and my 2nd glass of wine came after we were finished eating even though I ordered it right when the food came (that may be fault of the bar and not server, not sure). Also none of our plates were cleared when finished. Finished appetizer remained on the table through the entire meal and was still there with our empty entree plates when we left. Overall, very satisfied with food. Service was not meeting expectations. Probably just needs some education. Again, she was very sweet and obviously doing what she thought was best. Manager was on the floor touching tables but maybe could have taken notice to some of these issues. Seemed to be speaking with tables of which he knew the people. Ambiance was great. We used to come here when it was Station 8. This place blows the doors off. Nice and classy new ocean theme decor. The food was so flavorful. Shrimp and crab dip, calamari, crab cake sandwich, Caesar salad. All of it. Delicious! I hardly ever take food home and I asked for 2 boxes. Great beer menu if you like IPAs. Love coming here on Thursdays to see Sean and Lewis!! Can't tell them apart. They're so funny. There were 6 of us on a Thursday evening and were seated very promptly on arrival. The ambiance was festive, being close to Christmas, the bar decorations were particularly nice. We were offered water right away and ordered the chicken wing appetizer, they were very good. I ordered the Dijon salmon and requested mashed potatoes instead of sweet potatoes. The char on the broccolini and the lemon slice was a nice touch. The Dijon cream sauce was VERY GOOD and the drizzle of chili oil hit the mark. I gotta say those mashed potatoes were awesome. The rest of the company had Stake tips, Fish & chips, TheSalmon power bowl, Fried chicken sandwich and the youngest had a Berger and fries. Went for a drink at the bar. Nice draft beer selection and the bartenders were friendly and efficient. Can't comment on food since we didn't have any. An issue that needs attention are the soap dispensers in the restrooms. Believe it or not, it's not clear how they work, but when they do, they literally shoot the soap out. If I was standing in front of it, I would have been wearing it, and I would have been ticked. Instead it landed on the floor about two feet from the dispenser, so the floor was slick, obviously from prior patrons experiencing the same. You could hear the soap hit the floor! It's crazy. Management's got to address this in both bathrooms for safety and hygiene reasons. read more

We asked to be seated as far away from the band but instead was taken close to it. The female singer was drowned out and impossible to make out what she was singing. We just had an absolutely delicious meal at the new Ocean House Coastal Grille. We were seated promptly and experienced wonderful service. The calamari, house salad and pizza with pepperoni and hot honey were all fantastic. There was a lively energy throughout as well. We can wait to go back and try other menu offerings. Can't say yes since we walked out 30min after being seated. We submitted a reservation through the app. We got there on time, but place wasn't busy. Walked over to hostess and seated by window. After 10 min? No waiter. Even though 5 walked by - again not busy. I walked over to a waiter and asked if someone could come by? Nope- no one came! The couple next to us were laughing! So we got up and went for hibachi near by. We told manager why we were leaving- she said sorry. Btw the couple next to us said you're not missing anything- the food was mediocre at best.
