There are a few dog friendly outdoor tables in front of the building with beachy artwork and the area is perfect for people watching. We were lucky to have Brie as our server (yes, a lovely young lady with the beautiful name Brie), who was very attentive to us as the lunch rush poured in. We enjoyed a very large Bavarian pretzel and a couple of cocktails and they have a full American-style menu that has something for everyone. I enjoyed this restaurant quite a bit. Excellent location in the Boro of Seabright. Parking is available on the street and at the municipal lots, depending on your time of visit, feeding the meter may not be required. Food was very well done with some minor imperfections. The Reuben Risotto pops were ingenious, it sounds absolutely awful but they were delicious. The coconut shrimp were homemade and fresh. The crab cake sandwich was one of the better ones I have had. Service was great, they do the best they can with seating on the sidewalk given the COVID19 epidemic, truth be told I don't enjoy eating while maskless people walk a foot away from me. Saturday night service was slow. Someone who worked there said it was busy but there were a good amount of open tables. I suppose they didnt have enough staff. Wait wasn't too long. Took a bit to get a server but the one we did get was very nice. The drinks were in small plastic cups which i associate with a dive bar which this place is not. The food was really good. Spent the day at the beach and this place had availability for dinner. We really enjoyed our meal and would go back. We split the tuna tartare nachos, which we saw a lot of people ordering, and loved them. We saw a few orders of the pretzel coming out and want to try that next time. For entrees we tried the fish and chips, grilled chicken salad, fish tacos, Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Overall the food was very tasty and we enjoyed our meal. Our favorite was probably the Nashville chicken sandwich. The fish and chips had a little too much breading on it and the fish tacos had great flavor but were slightly over cooked. Came here on the last day of summer to end the shore. Found parking across the street in the municipal parking lot. Very cheap 2 hrs was $1. The restaurant is directly across the street. We sat outside and ordered two cocktails very watered down did not get another. Appetizers were good we had calamari and Reuben lollipops. I shared the crab cake dinner and octopus salad mediocre to say the least for both not enough octopus in the salad or dressing. Crab cake dinners was just ok. My son had the jerked beef ribs he said they were to spice and couldn't even appreciate the flavor. Mind you he eats takis all day so that tells you something. Everything was overpriced for the quality, but I guess I paid for the location. All in all I will not be back I gave this place 3 stars because the staff was very friendly and attentive. read more

I had a reservation here tonight, free parking across the street. Started off with a blue moon beer and then got the shrimp quesadilla which came with rice and pico de gallo. It was pretty good and filling. The service here was great, very friendly. Nice bar area with TVs and spacious rooms as well. Not a bad spot for some drinks or even some food. read more

As parents of two young children it is difficult to find the time and arrange babysitting for a night out. We finally had time and a sitter and attempted two other establishments in Sea Bright. One flat out told us they did not have room for us, and another one closed their kitchen at 8:30. On our walk towards one more last ditch effort to find a restaurant we could eat at, we stumbled upon Ocean House. We asked if the kitchen was still open and the super friendly security guard confirmed for us. Our wonderful waitress was friendly and attentive. The music from the band was super loud and the cocktails were okay. The food was decent. We had coconut shrimp, octopus salad, fish tacos, and shrimp quesadillas. I was just super grateful for and impressed with the amazing service and how kind and accommodating the staff was. We stopped in for a late lunch on a Sunday, sat at the bar and had a chicken sandwich. The food was good enough. We initially thought we might like to come back and try other things, but then we had 'issues' with the check. The menu did state that there would be a charge for credit card transactions, so I told the bartender that I intended to pay with cash. He gave me the check, which despite stating I would pay cash, included a mysterious 'Service Fee'. I told him I was just going to "back that out myself" since I was paying cash. I then notice that I was charged $20 for the chicken sandwich but on the menu it was listed as $19. I pointed this out, and the bartender said "that is weird", he was not offering to correct the price of my check even though I was emphasizing that "it was indeed weird that I chose the chicken based on the price on the menu that he presented to me, and then the bill had a higher price on it". Based on the deceptive billing and unwillingness to address discrepancies I experienced here, I would never go back. read more

This is a great addition to Sea Bright, replacing Dive! which we loved, it brings a totally different vibe. It's clean, new and feels a bit more spacious. We've been a couple times, it's never been terribly packed but a few people at the bar and at tables. It's also winter when we've gone, so I imagine summer this will fill up. They have a solid menu with options for everyone and nothing has been disappointing. Last time we went I got the special which was a fig burger, it was amazing, goat cheese, fig jam, arugula and with sweet potato fries that had an amazing creamy cinnamon/sugar dip with them. My wife got the coolest looking steak cobb salad ever, it was massive and very good. The burgers while very good, each time have been a bit overcooked, I ordered medium on both visits and got med-well, but not worth sending back in my eyes. They do have a good kids menu too, for our toddlers one order of mac n' cheese is plenty, it's a large portion. Service has always been good. I will say they only have 1 or 2 high chairs, so if you're coming with kids just be prepared. Drinks, decent selection of beers, not a huge tap selection but solid. Their mixed drinks are all reasonably priced, they have this spiked iced tea for $5, definitely a deal and pretty tasty. If you are in Sea Bright and don't feel like waiting 6.5 hours for a table at Tommy's, come here for sure! read more

PROS: Went here for dinner after hitting up the beach. The place is very nice; clean, good location, nice prices, good tasting food, and came out quickly. CONS: Unfortunately there wasn't a lot to choose from on the menu, since I'm a picky eater and unless you find street parking the only other parking would have to be in the lot across from them which you have to pay for OVERALL: This place is somewhere I will go back to once I'm down there again. First time here and it was great! This will be our new go to replacing Beach Tavern. Everything we ordered was excellent and the service was good too. The place itself is nice with some outside seating. Highly recommend! This review is really two parts. The food was outstanding. We had the lobster kettle chips appetizer which was phenomenal. My wife got fish tacos and I ordered jerk beef ribs. Both were excellent. The drinks were good too. The blood orange margarita is definitely a+. So for food 5 out of 5. As far as the atmosphere, it was absolutely packed with people that seemed to know each other. You don't wear masks at your tables and the tables are quite close. Maskless high fives and hugs every where. Luckily we had a good table location so we felt a bit isolated. The bar tenders were not masked- one had the gator around his neck- one had it below his nose. The hostess walk around had her nose showing as well at times. Our server was doing the best she could and we told her we were uncomfortable. We know it's hard right now with Covid but this experience felt like it was 2018 and none of this had ever happened. This all made for a very nervous night. 1 out of 5 on attention to Covid/social/distancing/masks. I will definitely go back for the food but will probably wait until we're vaccinated. read more

Passed by this restaurant after a nice day at the beach and got pick up. The service was great and I liked the packaging that the food comes in because it's more convenient and cleaner if you're in a car. I got the crab cake sandwich with a side of fries and overall it was good but I personally didn't like the sandwich; my friend tried it and really liked it. Came to see a favorite band and was captivated by the food! Always a great sign to see that people are taking home leftovers and you will want to as well - bring your cooler bags people. Warm spring night and while we were not overly hungry, wanted a nosh- and were we amazed at the menu AND the drinks! Great innovative cocktails- and too many choices. Thought I'd play it safe with a steak salad - oh my was it tasty with fresh greens, blue cheese and a perfectly cooked filet. It was so much- brought it home and it was lunch. hubby had a burger - cooked to order and exactly as he ordered it. This is the old Dive! The inside is exactly the same with some new decor. We sat at the bar as we always do and checked out the happy hour specials. They don't have much in way of happy hour specials and the menu has changed to more expensive items but not as much variety. However, the lobster kettle chips were excellent. There was a margarita special but it was all sugary mix so I switched to a $6 Wet Ticket beer. The service was ok but I do miss the Dive staff and atmosphere. We will return here though to see how this new place evolves over time. Hoping they will offer some better happy hours specials that include food as well. read more

I can't believe I write this comments but after my experience I feel like I need to.. I made a reservation ahead and our table wasn't ready at all.. we ended up sitting 5 people in one tiny table outside next to the palm tree that tree was over me.. I also asked if they have lobster in the menu because we were coming for a reason..they said yes on the phone but they didn't have it.. (they also have pictures of it on the google map, check it out) the service was so poor.. they need experienced helpers or manager to look after their business.. food was very late and extremely salted.. they said they were closing the kitchen soon so we have to place the desert order when our main course comes out on the table.. you have to ask for sweet and low 4 times and it came after we were done with dessert.. I can give more examples.. everything was like a joke.. I would never recommend this place if you never tried this place beforehand sorry to leave this review but the business owner needs to know how their business is doing.. Overall the food here is good but the service was lacking, perhaps because this is a newer restaurant. I came with a large party of about 10 people around 8pm and it took us over an hour to get our food. The place was not that crowded at the time and the manager told us that the kitchen was backed up for whatever reason. He was very accommodating and took 10% off the entire meal and comped our party an appetizer. The atmosphere was very nice, they had a live band playing, and all of the workers were great. The calamari, lobster nachos and tuna tartare nachos were all quite good, the nachos a little light on the toppings. I ordered the Octopus Signature Salad which was also tasty but was lacking in the size department. I really don't eat a lot and I was left quite hungry after spending $20 on that salad. I think as they gain more experience this place will improve. read more
