Ben served us well! I had fish tacos that were very good for me! The fresh jalapeños on top were the plus for me (those who don't like them can easily remove them).

My boyfriend and I had a delicious dinner here while we were in town! He is a big seafood boil fan and I am not as big of a seafood fan as he is, so it's great that Sea Crab offers plenty of non-seafood options. We split the Bao Tacos and Wagyu Sliders, which were delicious. The timing of the seafood boil coming out gave us plenty of time to enjoy the tacos and sliders. Our server was really helpful in planning our "Create Your Own Bucket" - which was great! We ordered black mussels. It was my first time trying them and I was a fan. Sea Crab is spacious with some fun signs and decor. It smells delicious too. We came on a Friday night and they were having karaoke. Everyone was soooo good and so many people were clapping that I thought it was a singer/band performance or something. It definitely seems they offer a lot of fun events!

Shrimp cocktail, stingy with the cocktail sauce as you can see although they did bring me more.

If you are like my family we love checking menus prior to going to see what we plan on eating. Well that didn't work out so good at Sea Crab as they've since changed menus but never updated their online menu. No: - wedge salad - short rib burger - whisky burger 3 types of steaks were sold out 7pm on a Saturday, weird. They were out of gloves for the crabs, not a big deal. Service was good, Diego did a good job. I had shrimp cocktail for an app although they gave hardly any sauce, not a big deal, Diego hooked it up Wife had clam chowder she said on the watery side but tasty. Mom had crab cake which she loved. Nick had a chicken sandwich with fries, he said it was good. Fries were really good. Me and my daughter shared a shrimp boil. Shrimp, mussels, sausage, crab legs and potatoes with garlic butter. All was good and tasty although the last time there our portion was larger. All in we enjoyed our experience, aside from some inconsistencies we enjoyed our food and will return.

The best edamame that I've had where they were "oily roasted". The Waygu burgers were excellent. A surprisingly nice venue in a strip mall In Neptune City where Asbury Park and Ocean Grove meet. Gary was an excellent server. They have entertainment in the evening, it's wide-open dining. Keep in mind that they put a 15% tip included in your bill. if you wanna chip in more, do so.

We went after 6pm on a weekday. It was quiet not busy/crowded at all. The restaurant is connected to a liquor store. Food was great. We ordered clam chowder soup, asian zing wings, calamari, oyster, and seafood boil. They also have a full bar and they do karaoke nights. They need to fix ladies bathroom the lights were flickering. We liked that there was sinks outside to wash hands. Celebrated a birthday here and they added the firecracker on the cake. They were going to charge us a cutting fee per person so we declined.

We ate at Sea Crab early last evening. We arrived at 510 pm when Happy Hour was in progress (until 6 pm). This was bad because the place was quite noisy, even though we sat as far as possible from the bar (and the bar was only half full). On the other hand, it was good timing: Happy Hour meant we could get glasses of wine at discount and we got two tasty fish tacos as an appetizer for only $8. Service by Jose was attentive and friendly. For entrees, we both ordered The Boil with Large Shrimp ($21.95 each) one with medium Old Bay sauce and the other with hot Louisiana sauce. Both were delicious and generous portions - about 24 large shrimp each. This was our first time at Sea Crab. We will be back. Perhaps next time we will get one boil and then mix catches, like shrimp and crawfish and also add some corn and potatoes to the boil.

Many people enjoy the interaction that we engage in at the post office, the gas station, the barber shop, the butcher, the fruit store, etc. Here there seems to be a very definite history of the great staff members moving on, sometimes with little or no notice, and it has impacted the comfort level for me, and for many of the people who also frequented the store. The product has been good, at times excellent, but the overall experience has been greatly diminished by some real nice people who were employed there leaving. I don't feel the same joy supporting a business that seems to have a pattern of upsetting what appears to be excellent employees, and this is by no means a negative statement on the new people who come in to replace the one's who leave. I sure the new ones are very nice too. It all just creates this sense of sadness and negativity about and towards the ownership and overall establishment. I guess in life some of us reach an age, or a point, where what we put in our body has to do with more than the food itself. It connects to the vibe, the humanity factor, the trust, etc. I have stopped going to Local 130 after the last person left, almost without exception. And I am a customer who was there a minimum of once a week for several years.

The restaurant was located in a multi-floor home on Wesley Lake, just around the corner from the hustle and bustle of Cookman Avenue. The first floor was more of a bar and lounge, and they had a live jazz band on the evening we visited. We checked in with the hostess and were escorted up to the second floor dining room, which was a charming spot that was breezy and comfortable, yet refined. The floor also had its own bar. Our server was on top of things, but was also clearly newer to the place. Regardless, once we got settled, she took our drink orders, which had taken us some time to decide on since the menu was creative and vast. I went with A Sidecar Named Desire, which included Courvoisier VSOP, Cointreau, Chinola passionfruit liqueur, and fresh lemon juice. I adore passion fruit and had always liked sidecars as well, so I figured it was worth a try, and I loved it! It had a good balance of tart sweetness and smokiness. My friend similarly enjoyed her spicy margarita, and we both imbibed while picking on some bread and herb butter. For our meal, we decided to start by sharing the Greek Salad, which was a massive bowl of romaine topped with tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, red onions, and Kalamata olives. We left off the feta cheese, but enjoyed the seasoned dressing made of red wine vinegar, honey, salt, oregano, and olive oil. It was a fresh and flavorful mix of vegetables that was a pleasure to eat. The entree options were endless and offered something for everyone. I wound up going with the Chilean Sea Bass, which was served over sweet onions and potatoes in a tomato herb reduction. The fish was tender and perfectly cooked. It was a light and tasty dish that seemed perfect for the Spring season. After our meals we were a bit too full for dessert, but we decided to get a second round of drinks, mainly because I was dying to try their Pistachio Espresso-Tini. Wow, was that drink delicious! It blended Ketel One Vodka, Mozart White Chocolate Liqueur, natural pistachio flavor, and fresh espresso. The coffee notes were not super prevalent, but the creaminess, nuttiness was the real highlight. It was a decadent way to end a delicious meal. After we settled the bill and headed downstairs, I noticed several bowls of after-dinner mints, which were a nice touch. From the relaxed atmosphere to the interesting and expansive menu, Moonstruck was a terrific option for our Asbury dinner experience.

Our server, Michael, provided by far the worst service we've ever received. He appeared to be under the influence of something, as he spent long periods simply standing around making odd faces while our table and several others waited and waited for him to acknowledge us. We were left wondering if anyone was going to take care of us. When my husband politely asked about our meal, Michael became rude instead of apologetic or helpful. The food itself had good flavor, but it arrived cold, like it was not served right away, which was disappointing. To end the meal, we ordered a cappuccino, but it was so poorly made that it tasted like nothing but warm milk. It was completely undrinkable. What makes this especially disappointing is that I've always loved Moonstruck. It's been one of my favorite restaurants because of its excellent food and outstanding service. If this is the level of service the new owners are willing to accept, I worry about the restaurant's future. I truly hope management addresses these issues because Moonstruck has always been top notch!

From the moment we entered the pub, we were transferred to the United Kingdom with its tavern-like decor. They had a quaint dining room, a bar area with soccer team schwag hanging overhead, a dainty tea room, and a dimly lit space inside what used to be a bank vault. We were seated at a high-top table in the bar, which was fine, as there was a large party with rowdy children in the dining room. Thankfully, the layout allowed us to avoid the majority of their loudness, though their sheer party size clearly held up the kitchen, since it took a while for us to get our food. There was a specific brunch menu with some breakfast-forward items like Loaded French Toast, but we were also given their full-day menu with many more options. I decided to get two smaller dishes to count as my complete meal. First, I had the Chipotle Chicken Chili, which was apparently a recent addition to the menu. I omitted the scoop of sour cream that was supposed to sit on top of the mound of soup, but I did not feel like I was missing anything by doing so. The smoky broth was packed with kidney beans, stewed tomatoes, and chunks of ground chicken. I thought it was delicious, but a bit thin and oily. I also sampled a side of the Sweet and Sour Brussels Sprouts, which were similarly greasy, but crunchy and well-flavored. In fact, they could have used a bit more marinade to really pop. My companion had positive things to say about his burger and fries. We really enjoyed the casual atmosphere, friendly service, and tasty food at the Black Swan, and I would certainly return to try some of their other traditional, European dishes.

There are a few seating options: outdoor seating right on the boardwalk (about a 30-minute wait when we arrived), indoor dining with no wait, or bar seating which is first-come, first-served. We initially put our name in for the boardwalk wait but ended up being seated almost immediately after checking out the bar area. The hostesses were incredibly friendly and welcoming, both at the front and in the back. Service throughout the meal was definitely on the slower side, although our waiter was pleasant and polite. One small thing that bothered me: when I ordered bottled water, the glasses appeared to be taken from a neighboring table that had been sitting there. They may have been perfectly clean and unused, but psychologically I'd rather receive fresh glasses. Not a huge issue, just something I noticed. Now for the food. The crab cake was excellent - easily the highlight of my meal. My friend ordered oysters, and I tried one as well. They were fresh and delicious. For my entree, I asked for a salad recommendation and was steered toward the peach salad. Unfortunately, this was a miss. The peaches were hard and unripe, and the dressing was so vinegar-heavy that I found it nearly impossible to eat. My friend was hungry and less picky than I am, so he ended up finishing it. I politely mentioned the issue to our waiter, making it clear I wasn't looking for anything removed from the bill since the salad had still been eaten. After that interaction, though, it felt like he disappeared for much of the evening, and we had to flag him down to get a dessert menu. Ironically, I decided not to follow his recommendation this time and ordered the chocolate cake instead. Great decision. It was absolutely delicious and ended up being another highlight of the meal. Have you ever had one of those experiences where every recommendation is somehow the wrong one for you? It happens. This is a beachfront restaurant, and maybe the salad was just an off day. The only reason I'm mentioning it is to save someone else from ordering that particular salad if the kitchen is preparing it the same way. Overall: friendly staff, great location, excellent crab cake, fresh oysters, delicious chocolate cake, decent drinks, but slow service and a disappointing peach salad. I'd definitely return - I'd just skip the salad next time.
