Mazda is an awful car and company with a terrible dealer network. After you buy it, their dealerships will screw you over any chance they get. The dealers try to bury the truth with thousands of fake glowing reviews on Google and the like. I've had $3000 repairs in 3 years on a new car with nothing covered under warranty. This year a bolt head broke off on the bottom of the car and it would cost $2,000 to fix. "The wheel could have come off at any moment" killing the driver at highway speeds. The warranty/dealer (since FYI I was told over the phone, Mazda actually has no authority over dealers) will not cover it due to the "rust," yet the surface areas around there and other side aren't "rusted." More likely the bolt was defective, over, or under-torqued, causing it to snap off THEN rusting (no rust coating under the bolt). I've been driving that car with a "clanking" noise indicating this problem for as long as I can remember. It's obviously NOT provable no matter what they say. But forget it, let's say it's rust. And they still won't cover it? In the end, not covering something this fatally insane in a new car just shows you they have no confidence in them. The guy at the dealer couldn't even keep his rust story straight! He told me "it happened when I drove it to Florida" (like these cars aren't supposed to be driven lol. Amazing how they will trash their own cars if that's the direction the $$$ is) or "call the original dealer you bought it from and complain" who I called and said it should have been covered. So basically it's like buying an iPhone in Wisconsin and you're in Florida, needing Apple to enforce the warranty, and they told you to go back to the store in Wisconsin to do that? Absolute egregious treatment Useless Mazda Customer Experience wouldn't even fully reimburse the rental and it took months to get the money. I also noticed how much smoother it rode. No banging over speed bumps or road imperfections, no wonder Mazda breaks all the time. Mazda has less market share for a reason.

I bought their Ocean Mazda hat, I like it

I've been in the loophole in getting a Mazda here for a couple of months now and I was finally ready!! Carlos helped me out so much, I had a horrendous credit score and Ronnel is a beast when it came to approving me and getting a better interest rate than my last Mazda for a worse rate I was given and my credit score was better back then. They let me test drive the car and really have a feel for it! I've never been happier to say that Ocean Mazda did not fail me. Very good warranty and no headaches for a while. Looking forward to increase my credit score and refinance this bad boy to get a better rate in a year from now. Also the servicing department with Joey Tejeda is just incredible! Never gotten better service anywhere else. I would even love to work their as a car salesman, maybe one day I have the opportunity. Thanks Mazda! 100/10

Last weekend I went in for my first service on the new car, so called a few days prior to make appointment 11:30am Saturday Jan. 11th. I arrived to find both the sales center and service area under reconstruction / renovation. There were quite MANY vehicles waiting in lines to be serviced and I was asked to stop at the T-intersection before I could get in line because they were managing the traffic flow of waiting cars in front of me. Initial thought was this was going to be chaotic, but did not have to wait long at the intersection, and able to turn right and park behind a car. Next was the amount of customers waiting for the service guy, and a guy calling out numbers. Did not know what this is I asked a customer where to get them and she said I had to get them from the guy. No bueno for me, as I quickly got the attention of a guy frantically walking around and informed him I had a appointment and how does it work here. He asked me to wait a moment and promptly went back toward the service offices. A few minutes later my name was called and walked over, sat in an office and they apologized for the delay. Joey Tejeda, my service advisor, processed my 1st service, ticked through the items they would be doing on the car (note the manual says tires don't need rotation until 10,000 miles so since my car had about 5,000 I declined their tire rotation). He also suggested I wait on premises as it would speed up my service. Given what I just saw outside, I took him up on his quoted offer waiting about an hour and a half. Waiting are inside: Sharing the same long-ish room where the cashier and parts accesories are, it was a nice amenity to see a small cafe offered. Upon closer look, it had very little items on display, empty-ish but maybe being close to noon I missed the breakfast rush? Anyway, also next to this area as the waiting area with short leather chairs comfortable to sit in as well as a long stubby counter table n chairs for those that want to charge up their devices. Overhead, is a flat panel TV with football on. I settled in awhile catching up on items online. Eventually went outside to stretch the legs a bit and taking photos of construction, even finding layers of dust on a new car parked on the side of the service area. Upon going back inside and sit down, my service advisor surprised me with info they are done and the car in the courtesy quick wash. Nice! He reviewed what was done, found, etc everything within specs. Then said the cashier would soon call me. I expected another 10 or 15 minutes, but as soon as he left my name was called. Wow. Walked up to the cashier to sign off the paperwork no need to pay. Was directed to wait outside and my attention immediately called to the right as my washed car awaited with the porter! All nice and said the total wait was like my service advisor said to be about an hour and a half but I believe to be less closer a hair more of an hour. The washed car? it was a quick outside wash which still was not perfect but my car was very dirty dusty bringing it in. Very nice time which left a good convenient afternoon to grab lunch n beer nearby in Doral!

Where mediocrity is less than what I have come to expect in customer service especially in Dade County, enter Joey Tejeda. I had a received a 50% off coupon for a oil change here. I admit I was extremely hesitant. 1) dealers have a reputation of being expensive 2) they are almost an hour from me (traffic ) 3) my best friends husband had a huge problem at a dealer where he paid $300 for a service that included tire rotation. He marked the tires and they were NEVER rotated. Dispute ensued and he was credited back the entire amount. So, I made an appointment on the app to "try it out" and take advantage of the 50% off deal. I left the service advisor assigned to me a detailed voicemail message the Friday morning before the Monday appointment to follow up because a) needed to be in and out b) there was another issue that had arisen. NEVER HEARD BACK. So I was already salty. When I arrived there was a long line and they were "backed up" (picture the line at chik-fil-a) and they couldn't find me in the system (vin). Now I am heated. I.drove.one.hour. Then out nowhere, Joey Tejeda appears like Superman, and says "I got this". He looks very young so my expectations dropped even more. He 1) got me out within a reasonable time frame just in time for my meeting in Sunrise. 2) ordered me a Lyft so I work out of a nearby branch 3) fixed my other issue 4) worked to get me the best deal with current promos. Phenomenal 10 star service. Love this kid. Joey / Madza has earned my business for the remaining life of my vehicle.

However, cars cannot last forever and when it was time to retire my beloved Rouge, my first stop was Carmax to see the value so I could use that towards a new car. On Friday, I put in all the information about my vehicle into the Carmax website and got an offer that was valid for 7 days. Carmax gave me more than Carvana and so I took that online offer to the dealership on Saturday. The dealer offered me much less than the Carmax offer - so I walked out of that deal, and went back to Carmax to see the official appraisal. I made an appointment online, arrived on time on a Sunday afternoon (the last day of the month) - and was out with my appraisal which matched the online quote in real life in 40 minutes. I found this to be quick and painless, and a great experience. I did not get a car from Carmax, but I feel like they gave me a great and fair offer on my car which helped me leverage a great deal at a dealership for a new lease.

The "customer first" image is pushed hard, but as an employee, it often felt like numbers and quotas came first--by a mile. Cars were rushed through inspections to meet deadlines, and there was always pressure to move inventory, even when it clearly needed more attention. That famous "125-point inspection"? Let's just say it's more about checking boxes than actually checking the car. Management varied wildly--some tried their best, others were more interested in micromanaging or playing favorites. Advancement felt more political than performance-based, and good employees were often overlooked while others coasted by doing the bare minimum. If you're thinking of buying a car here, double-check everything and don't rely too heavily on the CarMax "stamp of approval." If you're considering working here, just know that the culture isn't nearly as polished as the commercials make it seem. Disappointed to leave with such a bitter taste, but I can't say I'm surprised. May god look over this company and renew its workforce and maybe they can stay true to there words .

Simon returned from the manager's office with the typical BS stuff tacked on, and we had other cars to look at, so we departed. After looking at all of our options, we thought the CRV here was the best. I texted with Simon the following day and asked for the add ons to be removed and negotiated the dealer fee down a little. Much to my surprise, we were able to quickly agree and come to a deal. The only catch was that I needed to finance the car to get the advertised low price, but they said I could pay it off before the first payment. Juan, the finance manager, was great - no BS, no games. I ran all of the documents through Claude AI and confirmed that there were no tricks, no secrets, no "gotchas". We were able to e-sign the documents from home. I ubered to the dealership and arrived at 12:30. I was in the car exiting the lot at 12:54! It seriously could not have been easier. Please be advised that they keep the dealership refrigerated to arctic levels, so if you need to spend anytime there for negotiation or credit approval, bring a sweater! And a coat! Arrived at the time of appointment and greeted with a sales reps that didn't know the meaning of a smile. Then only to find out the car we came to see wasn't available at the dealer and it was at the west palm beach location going through an inspection! Why??? Why confirm appointments and why post the vehicle being available at Doral when it wasn't. False advertisement and bait and switch tactic likely. However, luckily my son was also interested in other vehicles at the location so it kinda worked out. Another issue as well was their key management system as they seem to have a hard time finding keys for the car we where interested in and when found and ready for a test drive, they had trouble finding keys for cars that were blocking us in. Advice to call the dealer directly to confirm availability compared to dealing with the online customer service. And be prepared to wait! Everything else is also true about other reviews with the high dealer fees of $1299 and a mandatory protection plan that's $1699 which along with sales tax and title and tag fees will likely add $4000-$5000 extra for your out the door price. I purchased a vehicle from Super Autos Miami. After driving the vehicle for approximately five hours, I discovered that the car had serious transmission problems and other major mechanical issues that were not disclosed to me at the time of sale. I immediately attempted to return the vehicle to the dealership, but Alfredo Blanca refused to take the car back. While dealing with the vehicle problems, we had to stop at a mechanic shop. The mechanic checked the VIN number and informed us that the vehicle had previously been declared a "total loss." After discovering this information, I contacted the bank that financed the vehicle and requested help. Following an investigation, the bank informed me that if the first payment was not made, the financing contract would be cancelled after 14 days, and Super Autos Miami would be required to return the funds to the bank. One day before the payment was made, I received a message from the same phone number Alfredo Blanca used to communicate with me during the vehicle purchase process, asking for my Westlake account number. I did not provide this information. This raises concerns and suspicion that the payment may have been made in an attempt to prevent the cancellation of the financing contract. While conducting some research on social media, I came across information that raised concerns. I sent all evidence and documentation to the bank. After reviewing the situation, the bank terminated/cancelled the financing contract with the dealership. I fear that my personal information and documents may be used for other fraudulent purposes. I believe the actions committed against me involve fraud, misuse of personal information, invasion of privacy, and unauthorized use of my Social Security information, which I trusted them with during the vehicle purchase process.
