This is my 4th attempt to get them out to service our syatem thats a warranty issue. First 3 times it was ' the parts not in" the day before service. This time today we had an appointment between 12-2pm and no show no call after rescheduling our plans. This is very unprofessional and upsetting that we keep continuing to have to manage our servicing around their time. I REGRET DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! The system cost over $7,000, and in my experience it has not been worth it. During a recent service visit, the technician replaced the reverse osmosis filter. For some reason, he also reset/regenerated the tank. Later that same day, I heard a loud noise and noticed water continuously running. We called multiple times and left several voicemail messages, but no one returned our calls. We were finally able to reach customer service after several weeks. We were told that a technician would come out and that if they found a problem with the tank, we would not be charged. When the technician arrived, he discovered that the gasket was broken and replaced it. However, he then attempted to charge me $285. When I reminded him about the agreement and said I needed to call the office, he became very unprofessional and asked why I hadn't fixed it myself. I found that comment completely inappropriate I was so mad and reported it to his supervisor. Instead of honoring the agreement, the supervisor offered a small discount and told me I would still need to pay over $450 since I cancelled the service. She insisted that the issue was the gasket, not the filter replacement. My point was simple: if the technician had not adjusted or reset the system, the gasket likely would not have failed in the first place. There were no acknowledgment of responsibility and no concern for the inconvenience caused. I was simply told to pay if I wanted the problem fixed claiming she'll use her employee discount, yet the amount is almost doubled from the original. Also, the warranty when offering you the product they will say NO COST for part replacement. In my experience, there always seems to be an excuse why a repair is not covered. Even when parts need replacement, customers are expected to pay for both the parts and the service. Please think carefully before doing business with this company. Based on my experience, customer service, professionalism, and warranty support have been extremely disappointing. read more

They will set up an appt with you and not show up, no call or anything. This company sends out scam postcards saying they have a "parcel" for you. The postcards say it's their last attempt to reach you or the parcel will be returned to sender. Spoiler alert- there is no parcel. It's a ridiculous ploy just to get you to call them to schedule a water test. I've gotten at least a half a dozen of these mailers. Don't waste your time calling, they are just going to keep sending the postcards. Shady practices and I wouldn't trust any company that tries to trick you into an initial appointment. Like others have experienced, I was sent many fake postcards saying that they had a parcel for me and these were "final notices." Called and turns out there is no parcel, they just want to sell you a water system and set up an appointment as soon as possible. I called the number and they were trying to schedule an appointment for a free water testing from Ocean Pacific water systems. I Googled the phone number in a bunch of complaints popped up about the scam also. Figured I would put a review on Yelp so other people know to look out. The customer service rep was very pushy and tried to book an appointment for someone to come into my home to "test the water." She claimed the test would be free, and I would also get a free 2 night vacation stay. Beware! Don't let these people in your home. When I inform the customer service representative that it sounded like a scam because there's no parcel waiting for delivery, she informed me that it was the free test kit and the two-night stay, this is unacceptable, unethical marketing. read more

They took advantage of me as a first time homeowner and they didn't tell me about the $200 maintenance fee. That'll be there until I pay it off and even afterwards for them to come out and maintain my system. Apparently on top of my payment so that's disrespectful. I think cuz nobody told me about that and so now I don't even think my water's going through the system and so I have something outside of my house that looks good but doesn't work and I'm thinking about just transferring the water bypassed it to go into my house to say fuck it and change my bank account so they can't even get the rest of the payments. Terrible service we purchased in 2021 and they told us they were going to provide the first three filter changes for free. We had to fight with them last year to get it and now this year they are telling us it's 250 bucks for a "service fee". When asked how much it would cost once the three filter changes are complete she said the price would not change. Translation. The three free filter changes are bs. When I asked to talk to a manager she said she was the manager. I'd also seen their logo on similar advertising in mailers and put two and two together, and they're offering a $25 gift card for giving their pitch (that part was legit, though they were out of the Home Depot one I'd requested, I took an Amazon one and used it), and we're definitely getting a water softener, and I was just curious to compare pricing and their knowledge, having already done a fair amount of research on systems. Marketing was the first red flag - not buying from a company that advertises via misleading postcards. Really aggressive sales pitch second red flag - I'd just arrived the night before to our new home from two months' travel with zero furniture and stated I'd definitely be getting a system--eventually, after doing my research, and financing not needed. They pushed for installing it then, within the hour, I could delay payments til X date, etc... As if nothing I'd said had registered. More red flags: Direct ask about cost of the system outright met with unsure answers that kept lowering if I were to buy it *right now!* Soaps and cleaning products: I'd stated I like what I currently use, I travel often so unlimited products won't benefit me and my current products don't cost me much, I greywayer so am limited in what products I'm willing to use; is this stuff greywater-safe? Dunno. Much in the sales pitch and marketing video about wanting customers to have access to clean water, so I put a question to the company: compared to their sales team, how large and effective is their legal team working with cities and lobbying government and Congress to provide cleaner water to its citizens? A: They don't have one. Why not? A: Cities wouldn't listen. My eyebrow is arched sky-high, as someone who works in a Corporate Responsibility/Public Relations role. No, that's exactly how you affect change, if you care--bur there's profit to be made in convincing folks you're cleaning their dirty water. I'm sold on nothing except definitely going with a different brand. EXTREMELY high priced product, and sleazy marketing techniques. $7,500 for their product which includes a whole home filtration system ($1,500 - $2,000) & RO (Reverse Osmosis) water filtration. ($200-$300). They bloat their product with plenty of "gifts" (things you'll pay for with incredibly high mark-up) like free TVs, game systems, cookware, and house cleaner concentrates. Immediately makes you think, if we're being given these high dollar gifts how much does this "system" cost. Overall, the presentation was amazing. It really does show how much you should have a whole home water filtration system. However, this company drastically overcharges for this system. It's made to take advantage of first time homebuyers. We've had them for about a year and a half now and they are great. I had a leak under my sink and Miles came out to look around and change out my water filters. I have wanted a water softener since I moved to Vegas 5 years ago. The water out here is TERRIBLE! This company contacted me within a week of purchasing my home. I was impressed with the presentation and my family has noticed the difference as well. I am glad I purchased the system, however...the price is high and I should have compared prices before committing to the purchase. I received a postcard from the US PS stating that I had a parcel to pick up. I am a new home owner so I was frightened that I missed my package from USPS it says I need to pick it up within three days. I called the number on postcard and it was ocean pacific they wanted to set an appointment to test my water for free. I was confused because I thought this was the USPS and I had an important package. Anyhow the guy came out did a presentation and sold my husband on it but I had more questions that were not answered. I feel he was not upfront with all information needed for instance, there is a 9.9 percentage apr, also it's $100 a month for the next seven years I had no idea this information was withheld from me during the presentation. I called back an hour after the sales guy and he told me that it was too late there was nothing I could do I couldn't back out of this. This is very unethical to not allow a potential customer to change our minds. I will not be going through with this process. **Update** Monica called me, a manager from Ocean Pacific and sorted it all out for me, I appreciate her promptness in taking care of this matter. I was able to withdraw my application and take sometimes to think about if I want to take on this expense. Our great salesmen By the name of Kurt Mcdermott came by and showed me and my wife all the visuals, videos, and important information about the water in our area. He helped us understand the entire process of what this water system does for us and how it works on a day to day basis. The installation team came out and installed the system in less than two hours & even added a spout in my garage to wash my cars with. ( which i highly recommend if you like keeping your vehicles clean ). It was astonishing to see how disgusting the city water was in our area and i now have peace of mind knowing the water we drink, make food with, and bathe in is clean. I highly recommend any of these systems by ocean pacific & ask for kurt for any further assistance! read more
