Everything seems grand when there's no extra charge for avocado or crab meat, and when a small with 2 scoops of protein is only $8.75. There are also plenty of toppings and sauce choices. However, the larger than normal 'small' bowl contained a ton of everything BUT the poke. I finished my poke so fast and nearly half the bowl had brown rice left. So, just know that they are rather stingy with the protein and that a medium with 3 scoops at $10.75 will feel less deceiving. As for the quality of the fish, I guess I couldn't really tell ya because I inhaled the small amount that was given to me. Conveniently located right off the freeway, so that was ideal in my situation. I thought it was also a nice added touch to serve milk teas with boba in addition to everything else. Otherwise, they are just an OK poke spot. In terms of the area, I do not know what is out there, so MAYBE they could be a better option in comparison to others nearby. read more

Finally found the best poke spot in Temecula/Murrieta. My boyfriend took me to the place and I fell in love with their bowls. Their fish tastes fresh and definitely has no fishy scent to it. The actually have a variety of protein! Crawfish?! Definitely different! The sauces is what also made me love this place. They have a few options! Which I loved! You can get creative with your sauces and make your bowls extremely tasty! The staff was very welcoming and friendly! Greeted us right when we stepped in. I also feel like their prices are worth it based on their options and quality of their protein! Still have yet to try their Hawaiian Pizza! i would've liked a liiittttle more fish but there's never enough in my book tbh. the options for fish was pretty standard but i LOVED that there was surprisingly a nice variety of toppings (plus avocado wasn't an added charge which was nice). not many poke places offer mango or hot cheeto dust as toppings and i almost went somewhere else but decided to give this place a try i also scoured yelp for other poke places nearby (clearly i was desperate for poke) and others didn't have as much variety and were much pricier so definitely recommend trying this place out!! this is a great place to enjoy good poke, with a variety of toppings, decent portions, all for a worth it price! read more

This place ranks as not only the best poke in the Temecula/Murrieta area that I've tried, but one of the best poke places I've ever been to, period. Most poke bowl places are very similar, so what makes this one stand out? The variety of toppings, sauces and ingredients they have is a lot more than most. My wife and I build our bowls differently and luckily they had all the things that the two of us want. In addition, the food was just tasty and not as bland as some of the other places I've tried. This poke place isn't the closest location to me by a long shot, but if I'm in the mood for some good poke I will go out of my way to come here. read more

This is one of my favorite poke spots around the area... They've got great options for proteins and sides, especially with a couple of the oddball sides like the watermelon radishes (radishii?). Their sauce selection is solid. I'm not a HUGE fan of the warm rice though... I like my rice cold. If you're like me, go for the sushi rice so it's extra sticky. I've never been here when it's too busy, so there always seems to be seating. Parking can get kind of crazy in this parking lot so beware. read more

Not coming back here again. Came here today service was extremely rude no "hi welcome". Right when we're still at the door they asked what size of the bowl felt like they're rushing us. My girlfriend and I ordered the Large bowl and we obviously know it automatically comes with four proteins. Which my girlfriend always orders her regular. And she kept saying the opposite. The lady who took my girlfriends order was very rude telling her to get a smaller bowl. I asked what sauce they recommend and the guy up front (his skinny tall white dude I don't know his name) didn't say anything and just looked at me while pointing at the menu I even ordered the seaweed salad but I guess he can't hear me like the other lady who assisted my girlfriend. Very impatient service when we're the only ones in the store ordering. Bad service. When we walked out after eating no employee said have a good day or what not. read more

If you love poke, this is the place for you! Their prices are great, the fish is fresh, and the rice is always steaming hot! I was recommended by family to come here and it's always been a good experience. The only thing I could complain about is the fish to rice/salad ratio. It could use a couple more pieces to even it out. One thing I love about this place is that they don't charge for avocado! I reckon that avocado is expensive, but you shouldn't have to pay $1 or more for it. (some poke joints do that ). Well if you're looking for a cheap poke place, come here. read more

Good but not great. Rice was mushy. I don't like that they don't allow extra vegetables, I asked for extra cucumbers and they said it would be an extra.75 cents. The sauces were ok. I still have Pokilicious in Riverside or Moreno Valley as a 5 star. read more

Very disappointed with this location's service. After a long day full of school and work and extracurricular activities, my husband stopped by to get 2 bowls. They completely messed up one of the orders and placed the other bowl on top. My poor husband got home and realized they had completely messed up the second order. How hard is it to follow directions? If someone orders a side, add it, if they don't mention an ingredient, don't add it. Get creative at home, not while preparing someone's order. We had to drive all the way back (20 minutes), order a new bowl and by by the time we were home again, a whole hour had passed. Added unnecessary stress to an already stressful day. read more

I've been coming here for about 2 years now and my husband and I love this place! We've met a lot of really awesome employees throughout the two years and not a single person has been unpleasant to be served by. In regards to the food, They pretty much have a really good selection of toppings. It's very much flavorful. Their poke sauce + spicy mayo combo in our poke is amazing which is one of the reasons we always come back. It is a little over priced, extra scoops for any of the toppings are an extra charge. The scoops are really small which sucks but overall good place, food and people. read more

Great poke stop - the fish selection was not only impressive, but super fresh. All the ingredients were top notch as well, great seaweed salad (which is the most commonly potential nasty ingredient when it goes sour in poke shops IMO), a large selection of sauces and toppings, all the Hawaiian drinks, and Thai tea and boba too. Place was super busy and just cranking out bowl after bowl on a Wednesday @ 8pm - Price per person is a little high, but so is the quality and value. Almost 20 bucks out the door for the large bowl and a drink.....but it feels like I ate my fill at a sushi dinner for a portion of what that would cost @ a sushi place - Ocean poke is the best! And they get top marks for service too read more

This is the worst poke I think I've ever had. We went in because it was close to us and had good reviews on google. The portions here are the smallest I've ever seen. Literally TINY scoops. I got a large thinking it would be enough for 2 people to share but it was the same size as a regular bowl they just added more fish, which again was a tiny amount. The large here was the same size as a regular I would get anywhere else. And I thought, maybe it's really high quality. Wrong. The most bland food I have tasted, the tuna was not high quality, the very little amount of toppings that were on there tasted like nothing. Way over priced for what you get. I definitely will not be returning! read more

There are a lot of poke choices, and this place doesn't stand out at all. Walked in with my wife and no greeting when there was only one customer. 3 workers were too busy with online orders. Even when the 1 girl finished with the previous customer, she told the other girl to keep doing the online stuff, and then she also started online orders?! Spent close to 50 bucks, and food was ok, but the portion was a joke. Little mini ice cream scooper and didn't even fill those when they scooped our protein. If you're gonna nickel and dime things and your service sucks than it is definitely not worth coming in. read more

Came here to get some lunch and I was very uncomfortable, the manager there was unprofessional yelling at his employee trying to get my order throughout the whole store for a minor inconvenience... The food was mediocre at best wayyy to pricey not a lot of fish and 20 bucks for a little bowl not worth it. Definitely am disgusted by management felt like i shouldn't come back wayy too rude feel sorry for the workers! read more

Horrible! Ordered a medium bowl. The fish was fine, toppings were good, but the house sauce destroyed any inkling of satisfaction there was. First, I hate wasabi. I can't stand the nostril burn and taste of horseradish, I never put it in any of my sushi. Well, guess what? The house sauce contains plenty of wasabi, I mean plenty! Secondly, there is no description of what's in a house sauce. I assumed (yeah, this is what I get for assuming) it was a mix of soy, sesame, and sriracha like most other places when you order a sashimi salad or the like. The wasabi was overpowering everything it was on, mainly the fish. Since I paid over $12 for the medium bowl and returning/exchanging it probably wouldn't be an option, I struggled through every bite of it. read more

First time here today. Great experience. Had the Langostino bowl and a boba drink. Staff was great. Tables were clean. Chalk board kept my kid occupied. Easy and quick ordering. I was really pleasantly surprised with the milk tea boba. Other places that serve on the side always taste a little off. I wish they had a extra small size bowl for kids. The plus is they do serve a beef bowl. But it's just really expensive if you're getting it just for toddler. read more

I really like the house sauce here. It has wasabi in it. So if you are not a fan of wasabi, don't get the house sauce. I for one, love the wasabi!! The combination of the wasabi and the soy sauce base is fantastic! their fish are always fresh. Definitely my fav poke place! read more

My third Poke spot in the Temecula/Murrieta area and I must say, it's my favorite so far. I ordered the Burrito with sushi rice and crumbled chips, spicy salmon and tuna mixed with spicy mayo, sesame sauce and garlic sauce. This has been my go to poke place for years. I have given them tons of business and yet I showed up for my order at the specified time, walked into a completely empty store front, found two of them standing there doing nothing and yet they had not even started my order. They claimed they had been too busy which seemed like a bold faced lie but I still agreed to waited even though I was in a hurry and it caused me to be late to my appointment and when I asked if I could at least get an extra stamp in my card for the inconvenience they flatly refused. I calmly explained that I thought it was the least they could do when I had to wait an extra 15 minutes just because they forgot and the owner got rude with me. So I flattest refuse to give them any more of my money. Spend your money on a place that appreciates your business. read more

I come to Ocean Poke because they have a great selection(spicy crab and crab, among other add-ins). I had a bad experience today though. The girl who scooped my salmon was extremely stingy. A large bowl is 4 scoops. She scoops some salmon and pieces fall out of the scooper, or some sticks to the scooper, and she counts it as a scoop(even if its was barely a piece or two of salmon). I was surprised on how inadequate the amount of salmon was that I actually commented on it and told her, so she re-scooped and did the exact same thing(pieces stuck to the scooper didn't make it into the bowl, and yet she counted it as a full scoop). In my mind I literally thought at that point that I should just leave, but then decided no and rather decided NO TIP. That's what you get for poor half-assed service. Take in mind, she wasn't mean or unpolite, she just was very stingy when it came to the protein. read more

I like the food and the concept of choosing your own fishes, toppings, and sauces (along with many other restaurants). The price seems decent at first look, but when the food is scooped and picked, the fish:rice ratio is too small. My friend and I both ordered mediums. Other poke places are more generous with their scoops of fish in medium sizes. Ocean Poke, however, gives about 3-5 pieces per scoop. I don't know exactly if it's based off of who serves you or restaurant code, but $23.90 seems unfair for only two medium sized meals. read more

Really great place. We are regulars and eat there at least once a month and have for many years. Great value, great portions, very fair prices, and very good quality seafood. My only note would be that orders can be inconsistent when ordering delivery. To ensure you get exactly what you want everytime it's best to physically go inside the restaurant but well worth it.
