Although interruptions/distractions did happen during most services I received (once or twice) I came back hoping that they were going through growing pains of opening a new business. The establishment is very clean and the massage was okay; however, I was unable to relax and did not find the atmosphere at all tranquil due to constant distractions and interruptions. Although another employee was at the spa (evidenced by her speaking loudly on speaker phone while walking up and down the hall outside the room) my masseuse answered her phone twice during the massage. She also left the room more than 10 times during the 60 minute service to check on the doorbell (which indicates someone arriving), or to tell the other employee something, or some other reason that had nothing to do with my service.

It was obvious that she knew nothing about the muscles in the body and when the massage was over, I went to pay her $60 and I offered a $10 tip. She suggested I should give her a $20 tip because I liked the massage. I thought that it was an English barrier issue so we went around and around and by the third reiteration of her requiring a $20 tip, I caved and gave it to her because I just wanted to get out of there. It was a very awkward and unprofessional situation from the get-go. It's highly manipulative to demand a 30% tip. My boyfriend stuck to his guns and said I am giving you $10 in tip and that's it (for his massage). Oh yes, she made him pay before the massage in advance which is very unusual. And like other male reviewers he was only covered with a hand towel over his private parts. He was not given a sheet or blanket for privacy. He was very uncomfortable with that. When his massage was over, she asked for a $20 tip. We will never return. The lady gave me an apple and an orange when I left. I presume because she knew I wasn't happy with the booking process or paying the high tip. Like an apple and an orange is worth an extra $10 tip. Ridiculous, unprofessional, and manipulative. We each did a 90 min massage for $90. 60 min for $60. Very good price for that area if you are on the hunt for a local Asian massage place. Played relaxing music and we each had our own private rooms. My husband said he really enjoyed it as she was able to get out some knots behind his shoulder, neck, and booty area. I enjoyed the hot oil and hot stones. Both were included in the massage price. My back was feeling the relief too. So we will keep this place in our Rolodex as they were very accommodating and able to take us at short notice.

I'm there since 8:00 waiting around in the small lobby area, and I finally see a car pull up. It's the owner/therapist/receptionist. 1. She greets me, and says, " will you be paying cash or card?" and makes me pay BEFORE I even get my massage (that's a first), and emphasizes the TIP will be due at the end. After swiping my card, I noticed a $2 charge for using my card. It would've been nice to tell me that BEFORE the fact. 2. During my "1 hour massage" (which only lasted a little about 50 minutes), she answered the phone like 4 times, in the middle of my massage, totally unprofessional!! 3. She seemed rushed all the time I was there. During my massage, i overheard a couple come in, and she went to greet them, and lied to them saying that all her "therapists" ( there are around 4 rooms) were busy at this time and therefore could not handle 2 more massages. She told them she was booked for the night. She was the only therapist there!! What a liar. Lastly, the deep tissue massage was like a 6 out of 10.
