We both got our dishes at the level 3 spice. The texture of the noodles with the delicious flavoring and kick of spice were just perfection. The Spicy Basil was also an amazing dish that my friend enjoyed thoroughly. The restaurant is cute the service is great! I stopped in for lunch on Monday after running some errands, I was one of 3 people at that time. It's a clean, bright restaurant with plenty of seating. The waitress was sweet and attentive. I ordered the Yellow Curry with Chicken and it came out hot and ready in 5 minutes. It was rich and creamy with a good amount of chicken and vegetables. It was big enough to share between 2 people if you eat a pretty standard amount. If you can handle spice, just know that the spice scale leans American rather than Thai. I ordered a level 3 and while I could see the red chili flakes, I barely felt the heat. Next time I'll be sure to order at a level 5. We had a hankering for Thai food while driving through the suburbs on a hot summer Saturday. Oceanic called to us, as we were sweat-drenched in heat. The ambiance was tasteful, not as much beachy but almost Mediterranean, which added to the classiness of the joint. Their servings were massive, savory, and flavorful. Very disappointed. This restaurant has likely fallen victim to inflation. Ordered Tom Kha soup today. It was extremely watery, has only a couple scant pieces of chicken and was missing several ingredients (cilantro, scallions Thai lemongrass). The missing ingredients explained the lackluster flavor. My stir fry entrée was extremely tiny (see photo) and not worth $12. Lastly the hostess seemed completely uninterested in me as a patron. Very poor customer service. Hopefully things improve. You know you've discovered a real gem of a hole in a wall when the food is so good you've eaten here twice in a week! Let me start by saying that yelp once again delivered! We started with the Thai Tea, simply amazing! The Tom Yum soup is the absolute best! Seasoned and flavorful! My friend decided to order his with noodles and said it was like Tom Yum Pho, exactly what he's been looking for...he's a soup Nazi. I highly recommend trying the yellow curry fried rice with Chicken! It's seasoned with turmeric and I swear a touch of sage. It's sooooo good. Last visit we tried the Pad Thai and it was really good. Ordered the Oceanic Wings and Chicken Massaman Curry, medium spicy with white rice. The wings were excellent, cooked to perfection, and flavorful. The Massaman Curry on the other hand was ok. The gravy was quite runny, with hardly any peanuts, undercooked potatoes, and a bit more lemongrass than usual in a Massaman curry. read more

We ordered food to go so some items might be better fresh opposed to the 20 minute drive home. Keep that in mind. The crispy chicken lost its texture, of course, but it didn't have much flavor either. However, the bed of garlic fried rice it laid upon was incredible. I could eat that as a meal solo. The drunken noodles were also a hit. I asked for the top three dishes and a lady recommended garlic pepper. I chose beef and it was not spectacular. It was saucy and didn't contain much protein. I would not get the mango sticky rice again. The mango was overly ripe and the sticky rice was too dense and not fluffy at all. There are plenty of Thai restaurants in the area so I would not opt to go back to Oceanic. read more

Got the pumpkin curry with tofu, hoping that it would be a warm and flavorful fall choice. It was definitely tasty--the sauce was so addicting I saved it for my next meal. I'm glad I went mild on the spice level. This is our second time here. The place is pleasant, we were seated promptly. We ordered Tom kha Soup and edamame , both were good. We later realized that our yelp checkin got us free edamame. Been waiting for a long time to try this place after I read a review on Asian Grub. Wanted to try stream shrimp curry in coconut but the server said it's out. This place is amazing. I've gotten a few different items all of which have been spectacular. The chicken satay is incredibly moist and flavorful paired with a wonderful peanut sauce. I've also had their Crispy chicken and garlic fried rice. Honestly this is the best fried rice I have ever eaten. They offer your level of spicy 0-5 it was amazing. So FRESH and clean and great portions, consistent quality. I THINK it is still BYOB? It was when we used to go there, we could bring in our own bottles of wine, which sure keeps the tab low. We still swoon with memories of their curry sauces, and their FRESH spring rolls, with the best peanut dipping sauce I have ever had. I wish I could give more details, but it's been a few years. Great local spot! The place wasn't very busy when I went, but they had a large volume of pick-up and delivery orders. The staff was very helpful with questions I had about the menu and service was very prompt. I couldn't decide on what appetizer to start with so I got the app sampler and I was impressed by every item, especially the vegetable dumplings and corn patties. It came with spicy mayo, sweet and sour sauce, and a sweet soy sauce. For my entree, I got the Hawaii Hawaii with chicken and I got it extra hot. They're serious about their spice so I'd stay around 1-2 if you don't like spicy. It was delicious and I scarfed it down easily.
