It is my pleasure to share with my fellow Yelpers the best chorizo spot in Santa Ana. I stopped by recently because I was craving green chorizo. If you've never tried green chorizo please give it a chance because it is sooooo good. The old saying, "Looks can be deceiving" comes to mind because our minds are trained to think meat with the hue of red (in reality it's not btw) so when we think green meat we think to ourselves, "it's not good". This chorizo is green because of the various green goodness that goes into making this fyi. I'm not sure of their recipe but it could be green chiles, tomatillos, cilantro etc My fiancé & his family had never tried green chorizo & I decided to make them breakfast & they all loved it! We also picked up some of t red chorizo too & it was delicious. Overall the chorizo is a 5/5 & the staff is very friendly.

This is a very simple place but with excellent chorizo!! I got the chipotle and the mild pork chorizo. The chorizo are flavorful but not greasy very easy to cook with.

The service is always so friendly and welcoming. They will package things up beautifully for gifting and make suggestions, but they're never pushy. After online research, this small business was recommended for a wide variety of spices, balsamic vinegars and it didn't disappoint. Was warmly greeted, walked into a beautiful small shop loaded with things you won't find elsewhere! Enjoyed not being rushed or pressured. My experience was like winning the lottery! The owner was incredibly knowledgeable, listened to what I needed and suggested outstanding products that I'd never seen before. Fresh, natural and potent flavors! Just the selection of balsamics are worth the trip, truly! In addition to all of the above; it also has eclectic, upscale gifts, unique clothing, jewelry, cards, soaps, oils and so much more. All of it is has a high end feel but won't break the bank. Choose here for a unique gift or thank you for someone special! There is street parking and also a dedicated free parking lot behind/next to store. Once home, everything that'd been recommended was exactly as promised and so very delicious! This is absolutely a small business that should be cherished and supported often!!!

What brought us in were their egg tarts. I've never been to Portugal, but I was happy to come in to have some savory croquettes and their egg tarts. Their portuguese egg tarts have the custardy flavor balanced by nice sweetness. We had a ham and cheese croquette and chicken croquette. The savory treats were breaded in bread crumbs and the ham and cheese tasted like it was filled with a cheesy bearnaise, while the chicken tasted like a crispy, chicken pot pie. This is a small store and it's a great place to find items for an authentic Portuguese meal.
