I couldn't wait to try Odell's when it opened! We went on their 3rd weekend in the brick and mortar location. I was pleasantly surprised when there was no line and we were able to snag one of a handful of tables along the sidewalk. The space itself is clean and the decor is fun. We ordered a vegan bagel with regular cream cheese as well as the Jam one. I love an open face bagel and wish this style was more common. My only reluctance to recommend this place is that so much of the menu is fish forward and they don't do lattes - just drip and cold brew. Open just four weeks, thrilled to have another bagel shop in Denver that accomplishes a perfect texture, a generous shmear, and interesting flavors, like a furikake bagel and chili garlic cream cheese. I heard "pastrami lox" after we had ordered and will be back for this alone. The interior space is very trendy coffee shop, though limited counter top seating, which works really well. Surprisingly, while the line is long the wait is not. My wife and I waited about 15 minutes before we got our food. We shared a rosemary bagel with nova lox and scallion cream cheese, rosemary bagel with plum jam and plain cream cheese, and a furikake bagel with bacon, egg, cheese, and calabrian chili cream cheese. I was blown away by everything but the BEC bagel was exceptionally good. I think it has something to do with that calabrian cream cheese. As for ambiance, it's a young, hip restaurant. Bagels 10/10 most flavorful bagels I have had in Denver. It was cool to see them making fresh in their open kitchen. I did an online order (thankfully) very limited seating & parking. My boyfriend had to drive around the dead end while I went inside. No one acknowledged me when I walked in and went up to the online order sign that read either go to cashier or one of our team members will serve you. So after letting a few people go to the cashier and waiting to see if anyone would help me, I then asked the cashier for our online order and she looked like I was inconveniencing her. Got these sandwiches this morning and Was super excited to try it! They just opened and just started doing sandwiches (today..? Idk), so I'm giving it a 3/5 because I know there's a ton of room for improvement and things to workout! The "egg sandwiches" are $10.5 and then $12.5 if you want to add bacon. I think that's steep, but I digress. The inside of the shop is really nice and new but with a comfy bakery feel. The staff were super nice and friendly and I didn't think the wait was too long (about 15 mins) given how busy it was. There's a bit of an "open concept" to the layout of the shop so you can basically watch them make each sandwich which was cool, btw the open face sandwiches with the lox looked KILLER. Didn't order them tho, maybe next time. I think the bagel itself was a 4/5, being from the east coast I really miss good bagel and I didn't think these were too far off. I want to try one with just cream cheese next time for the real feel. The sandwich was decent, I think if they want to up-charge $2 for bacon they should add more bacon. We got 4 sandwiches and the amount of egg was different on each one (as you can see in the pic)! I know that's nitpicking, but just an honest review! There's not a ton of seating inside, but it was nice outside and we were able to snag a table outside. The bagel was good. The parking was difficult and it was hard to find seating, especially outside. Many people were standing and eating. I will say that I thought that the price of the open sandwich could be just a half, but you have to get both sides and add the price of each together. Since I only wanted one I just got one side then got the other side pain, but even just to get it pain I was charged for the second side. Nice smooth consistency. Nova lox as well has a great salmon flavor without being fishy. Capers give it the nice salty touch to it without it being overpowered. What Odell's shows us is that it is possible to make a proper bagel in Denver. We can no longer accept any excuses about water being different on the east coast. This is objectively the best bagel in town. I have tried them all. Great job, guys. You nailed it. However, will I ever again wait 35 minutes for a bagel and cream cheese? No. The staff move at a glacial pace. I think it was easily 2 minutes between each order being called. We got in line and there were 8 or so people in front and we figured we'd wait 10 minutes. Nope. The bagels and cream cheese are $5. Fine. This appears to be the standard in town. However, the bagels are small (see photo) and at least with the scallion cream cheese, it was extremely thin and runny and frankly flavorless. It might be worth it to just grab some fresh bagels ($3/each, $30/dozen) and buy your own cream cheese. read more

I went here 1 time and it was excellent. Since then, I have taken the time to drive there 5 times and each time they were out of the Hamachi. Granted a couple of those times I went at 10:30-11.
