Not worth the hype. I was craving this pizza and the were closed for two days. the third day I went and order a 10 inch "COWBOY DAN" PESTO, AGED MOZZARELLA, SAUSAGE, PEPPERONI, HOT HONEY. 16 dollars for a 10 inch seems like a fair price especially since it's in a downtown area, when the pizza arrive it look like a 6 inch pizza. Not even 10. I get it!! Gluten free dough is hard to stretch it without ripping it apart but come on, for that size , it's not worth 16 dollars. Okay it's time for the flavors. I chose the one with pesto bc I think it can make a pizza taste really good , but in this case the pesto was only for aesthetic, the honey overshadowed the pesto, making the pizza sweeter, two slices of the pizza and I was already sick of sweetness. Worst pizza in my entire life. Had a thin overcooked crust, one with half the pepperoni that it should have had, the other was a vegetable one. Both had some kind of gel which was slightly pink due to a hint of tomato. I will not eat there again. read more

Let me start off by saying this is their opening day, so I understand that things will happen. I placed a to go order at 5:33pm and received my food at 6:19pm. My wings came out about 20 minutes before the pizza so they were cold by the time I got home. The pizza was good. We also ordered a large salad and received one dressing for the salad and one ranch for two orders of wings. There seemed to be miscommunication between the to-go staff and the kitchen staff as I saw a lot of confusion about orders. Me and my wife have lived all over sandiego and tried just about every single pizza place across Sandiego today Odies opened and we live right above it we could not have been more excited first bite this is one of the best pizzas I have every tried crunchy crust and amazing flavors seems like each pizza is a twist on a traditional flavor but we got 5 slices and every slices was a 11/10 honestly blown away and will be back here so much more thanks for bringing great pizza to Oceanside right before summer! read more

Ordered a pizza to go for the first time and was explicitly told by cashier we'd be called on our phone after giving her my number after being told it would be a 15-20 minute wait . Went to a nearby shop for 15 minutes and came back just to sit around for 40 more minutes while we sat there confused . Finally went up to the register just to find out that our pizza had already been called out and had been sitting there the entire time . We ate lunch here and the service was amazing. Very friendly staff. The sourdough pizza was also incredible. The restaurant was super clean and I love the indoor/outdoor feel. You can get pizza at so many places in Oceanside, but the service is what truly stood out and makes Odie's a 10/10. read more

We are on vacation and have been wanting to try this place so we waited. When we got to order the cashier was so nice and friendly, everyone that works there was very nice. Is the pizza good? Yes. Is it worth it? No. Went last night with my family and every single table had a number but no food. Should've known right there it was going to be a long wait to eat. We got up to order and first two things we ordered the girl at the register said they were out. No lettuce for any salad on the menu and no milk for kids menu. How are you out of lettuce on a Thursday at dinner time it's not even the weekend?! We ordered one pizza, one order of wings, and one kids meal. When we paid she said it would be 35 minutes. 15 minutes in and still no where to sit I suggested I take my family back home and I'll come back for the food in 20 minutes because they ask for your phone number when you place a to go order so I expected a call or text when it was ready. Before we left I asked again how much time for my order and the guy said 35 minutes from that point so longer than what we were originally told. I understand you're new and busy but I'd rather be told your food is going to take an hour and get food on time rather than being told it's going to be 35 minutes and be waiting around much longer. I drove home, set my alarm to go back and at this point it's now been a hour since we placed our order (6:45pm) and still no text or phone call that food was ready. Returned to the restaurant with a family member they hopped out and our order still wasn't ready. We placed our order at 6:45pm, returned at 8pm and finally got our food at 8:10pm. Here goes my first yelp review EVER...I heard about Odie's from tiktok and drove down here from OC to try their pizzas. I was met by a LONG line, but waited about 40 minutes to try it. We got the Bacon Ranch pizza with 12 chicken wings. Sarah gave us one of the best services I've ever experienced at a restaurant. Our food came out late, but Sarah made us feel at home with her welcoming gestures/words. I would definitely come here once again to experience Sarah's hospitality!!! read more

I love coming for the food as the pizza is incredible. But the overall service lacked today. It felt like the photo shoot being performed was more important than the guests of the establishment. At the end. We asked to close out and the bartender stopped helping us to have a 5 min conversation with another staff member when we were ready to leave. I'd give 6 stars if I could. Not only are the ingredients fresh, but the gluten free pizza is also bomb. Last but not least, the bathrooms were immaculate for a place so close to the pier. The wife and I dropped in here on a Sunday evening for a slice and a beer. We sat at the bar and received awesome service from Josh. He was super attentive and gave great recommendations off the menu. This place has a pretty awesome vibe about it and stayed consistently busy the whole time we were there.
