I don't live or work in Williamsburg but I was in the area shopping with my wife and I had some packages in the car I needed to ship. Saw this place and thought I'd save myself a trip to the post office. Guy behind the counter was nice, gave me a few different shipping options, and saved me some cash. I always thought US Postal was the cheapest option, apparently not. Thanks Charlie. I loved the fact that I got an email with all my tracking numbers, so much easier to input into Ebay that way. And then the next day I get another email to tell me it was picked up and a link to track my packages. Very Amazon of you, thanks. I'll be coming here a lot more often read more

Very useful store. You can bring an unwrapped item and they will pack it, seal it and send it for you (costs a few dollars). They are very knowledgeable on the shipping companies, shipping prices, etc. The store prices are fair considering the expensive retail location. Be aware that it can get busy and then things can get hectic in the store. read more

I went here to get something shipped quickly. I was able to accomplish that, but not without a price. I've scanned through other reviews and I want to second the notion that the tall brunette woman is absolutely atrocious. She was so unbelievably rude on many counts. She yelled at me for trying to social-distance. Then she told me that I should be able to read my own handwriting, when it wasn't even my note, and finally she yelled at me for not knowing that the machine wasn't touchscreen. They take package - it never gets scanned by USPS or Fedex - and they tell you it will still get scanned after weeks and a month of waiting and cheking. IT NEVER DOES. You just lost waterver you you were shipping after month of uncertainty. You'll call them and they'll say it 100% got shipped and they have "their eyes on it" before shipping. And at some point the rep will just hang up. In 12 years that never happened with UPS or USPS dropoff places close by. I'm not even talking about horrible customer service and bad prices - THIS PLACE WILL LOSE YOUR PACKAGE. Here's what it actually says: "The following items are not acceptable for carriage via Global Express Guaranteed service to any international destinations ...". INTERNATIONAL destinations. I wanted to ship to Washington, DC, which, as far as I know, is NOT an international destination. In response to the owner of this business, who replied to my earlier review: I will most certainly not revise or delete my review. Your staff was at the very least ignorant of their work, saying it was prohibited to send currency via USPS when it is perfectly legal and allowed. When asked to show what they were basing their decision on, they became aggressive and insulting. Secondly, do you think all the other reviews complaining about your rude staff are the result of a coincidence, or a conspiracy? I have been to Office 11211 probably 40-50 times over the course of 12 years in both its old and new location. The women (I've never had an issue with any men who work there) who work there are so incredibly rude. The middle aged brunette who has worked there for years is the most horrible employee I can imagine having in any customer service position. And the younger girls who work there seem like they would probably have acted appropriately if they weren't egged on by this woman. Every time I'm in there she is either rude to me to rude to someone else - without fail. Today as I was handing some bubble mailers to a younger woman two slipped out of my hands I immediately said sorry but still the younger woman said "Why would you do that". I repeated "Sorry, that was an accident." She was like "ok, no problem". But ole trusty just had to pipe up and lecture me regardless of my apology for slippery fingers. I finally, (after a decade of listening to her verbally abuse customers) said "Every time I come in here you have something ugly to say". She clearly didn't recognize me (I'm only in there every few months and wouldn't have left any kind of impression on anyone) and said "Well I guess every time you're here you're rude." I've decided she must be related to the owner. She's horrible and I'm FINALLY going to do everything I can to not return. read more

Please do not use this service!!! I tried to ship some very important camera equipment overnight via FedEx, but when I saw that neither tracking number registered as shipped the following morning (two different labels for two different packages), I called the store. I spoke to a manager who then told me the packages never left the store, but that it was the driver's fault for not picking them up and the store claims no responsibility. She then got mad at me for being upset (I never yelled, tried to remain calm, and I when asked her to at least empathize with my situation, she got very rude and hung up on me.) It was film equipment for a shoot happening the next day - a day that now has to be completely changed. I understand the mistakes happen, but the manager was very rude on the phone towards me - no customer service at all, no assistance, no empathy. I've used this service for years - and have been recommending it to everyone in the neighborhood - but I will never, ever use this company again. Like most of us, I'm still working from home. I went in with a simple request to print out a word document, let me sign it, and send it back in pdf. I got home to see that on printing it had been mis-formatted. Going back the store, the lady with the red hair was incredibly rude and obnoxious. Simply for asking for assistance. This exchange until one of her very helpful colleagues, noting her insane approach, stepped in. The problem was on their side. Shipping gifts is personal and special, and I wouldn't want your grubby hands or bad energy touching it. So you asked what I was packing and I told you, and no aerosol cans. I acknowledged it, purchased the box, and went across the street to pack it, sans aerosol can. I come back, and the guy with glasses helped me set up information. I asked him delivery time using USPS to SF and he was clueless. I looked it up and decided it was quicker and would proceed. Then you, Natasha, shook my box and deemed there may be liquid in the box. I told you exactly how I packed it from bottom to top, but you didn't believe me. I didn't let you open it, for reasons stated in the 1st paragraph. I asked about your paranoia but your defense was uncalled for skepticism. Then you told me to leave and would not send out my package. Your final words to me were, "Get over yourself". Thanks for the meaningless advice, but I will. Are you like that with every package? You just HAVE to get your grubby hands on them? You couldn't explain to me your paranoia. And maybe you felt $26 was too little to keep me as a customer. There's a variety of options for shipping these days, and many people would prefer to not deal with humans like you. You told me you've been there for 4 years. That's a shame (maybe a new career is needed). Your handle with difficult customers is dismissive and you have no desire to help, especially people you don't want to help. This is the first time I've taken it upon myself to write a Yelp review so that should tell you something about the severity of my experiences here. I live in the neighborhood and rely on this store unfortunately for a number of services. I really believe in supporting my local businesses and like others have mentioned on this chain, I know it's a hard time for everyone. But I've been coming here for 2 years consistently and the two employees I interact with the most frequently at this store are just so rude. They never answer my questions directly, I always get a weird side answer so I have to ask again. Then I'm met with an absurd amount of hostility and sarcasm that I do not understand. The other day was the final straw. I dropped off a package that was a birthday gift (i.e. time sensitive) and confirmed they had a pick-up that day with USPS. After another strangely hostile and awkward interaction I left with my tracking number. And they didn't ship the box. USPS tracking showed they held it for a day, then shipped it. Normally I would think I was being paranoid but in this instance I feel pretty confident it was a major F-you. On top of the strange behavior I will just point out - don't come here if you could go to USPS. They charge you $1 for one little piece of tape, don't allow you to tape things yourself in store, and charge $1 per package you send even if it's completely ready to go. I just got off the phone with them, asking for advice on what to do, after not receiving my receipt or the tracking number via email and missing the deadline for the contents of my package. I was met with flat out denial, and aggression. I asked if there is a manager to speak with, to which she replied, "OH, I am the manager" haha. ahh. Will not use them again. I have been going here for a couple of years and I just love this place! Yes, they do charge more for USPS, about 30% of what you get when you calculate postage on the USPS website. (taking my previous package as an example). BUT, the experience is so worth it. You walk out after 10-15 minutes and you are done. So worth the extra $. No headache, you get a tracking number via email and everything works smoothly. Sometimes people have a bad day, so what. In general the staff is friendly and helpful. BEWARE; Here's where rudeness couples with inefficiency! On 12/05/2017 at 3:05 pm a Trainee at Office 11211 (Brooklyn, New York) took the payment of $126.17 and gave guarantee a package would arrive at Florida the following day at 8:00 am. He took an extra $70 to giving the verbal guarantee that the package would reach by 8:00am as opposed to 10:00 am. This was a time sensitive document that was being sent in order to have our medical insurance through COBRA kick in. I'm about to give birth any day. Upon calling to inform the manager at Office of the same, he was most unhelpful and said Fed Ex (for whom he was merely an authorized dealer and not a representative) does not in fact give a guarantee. We're most disappointed in his lack of ownership of this error and lack of faith in FedEx. He said that FedEx suspends all guarantees from Thanksgiving till Christmas. Had we known this, we would have opted for another company to do the delivery. Update: Turned out Fed Ex did try to deliver the package! The owner, rude and arrogant, didn't even bother to check on this info when he spoke with me. Was only too happy to throw FedEx under the bus. Incredibly aggressive & unapologetic. I felt compelled to write a review about this store because every time I go there, which is at least once a week, I leave so happy and satisfied. Mailing letter/packages at a post office is not a fun experience as I am sure we can all attest to. However, they are so nice and helpful and get the job done so quickly that I am thrilled and feel so satisfied every time I leave there. I am just so happy that I found this place and that it exists! I want to support smaller businesses in my neighborhood during this time but the woman there was super rude to me and didn't offer much help. I had to ship a package to Turkey for work and I went to show her my phone so she could see the address and she refused to look at it and told me "that means nothing to me, just read it." I guess I somehow really offended her with this gesture? I tried to explain I don't speak turkish and its very complicated spelling but she absolutely refused to look at my phone...it was a little uncomfortable. There are a few other guys who work there who have been helpful and friendly but I am seeing on here this lady seems to be an issue for others as well. My suggestion is to go to another shipping spot or post office if the lady is working. But most likely I wont be returning to avoid the whole situation again. read more

This place is awesome!! And with the friendliest staff. I came in right before they store closed a few weeks ago - completely out of breath - and both staff members reassured me, told me to breathe and directed me across the street to get my packages. I had to leave work early to pick them up, so was very relieved to get such great service at 7:57pm. I though I might leave empty-handed. So, yeah, I highly recommend having your packages shipped here - this location is absolutely reliable (not so much for the 11206 location). read more

Alright so after reading everything said on the older page and new page I must say.. This place has its ups and downs. I came here 10/30/15 to get everything done. I printed scanned faxed and shipped out plus got my keys cut. The big guy in the copy center was great and super helpful even when being slammed by so many people. The bubble girl in the corner with the glasses shipped out my documents was super helpful showed me my options and saved me $20. When I saw the bad reviews, I really tried to be open minded and take them with a grain of salt, and try for myself. If I could give it negative stars for the terrible way they speak to potential customers, I would. You'd never guess that they were in the business of providing service, because they are as rude as all of the reviews say they are! I initially called in the morning and asked a question about the mail scanning and forwarding service that was mentioned on their site. Apathetically, the guy who answered the phone told me they don't do that. without saying something proactive and service oriented, like "...but we do offer that through another party...". I called back later and asked the guy about why the site says differently and he couldn't have been more disinterested in guiding me to find the right product to assist me. I then asked to speak with the manager, who MUST be the same woman everyone keeps writing bad reviews about. She proceeded to bulldoze over my concerns, chew me out, said I was "cutting her off" by asking her questions, and then pretty much told me to go figure it out for myself, rather than to offer any kind of explanation as to how it all works. I would hope a service business, ESPECIALLY one that is suppose to be the steward of a customer's mail, would work to foster a much more proactive work ethic, inviting and trustworthy atmosphere, as opposed to chastising patrons. I never understand why people who are so detached and nasty ever choose to work with the public, when they clearly hate the interaction. I noticed in the reviews that this business only responds to the criticism in a defensive way, without ever an apology or accountability for their terrible demeanor. VISA PICTURE REJECTED- The Store manager is one of the rudest woman I've ever met. She barely says hi, talks to you as she's texting on her phone, and is very unprofessional. She literally told me that she couldn't help me read the measurement of my picture because she didn't want to get her eyes hurt. Anyway- I got the picture taken by someone else working there and the picture was just AWFUL and super blurry. I asked it to be retaken a few times but they were getting impatient and the manager was approving all of those terrible visa pictures. You are aware of what a customer SERVICE position entails right? I've managed businesses for 10+ years and currently am self employed in a very successful business. Why? Really disappointed. I come to this business often as it is more convenient for me than the post office (even though they mark up post office rates). I came in to make a couple of copies today. I was .10c short and inserted a $5 bill into the machine. When I ejected the change, instead of getting $4.90, the machine spit out $3. I immediately brought it over to the cashier and then the gentleman with earrings who mans the copy area. He just couldn't understand what my problem was or how the machine could have possibly shorted me a $1.90. All he could proclaim was that it was a 3rd party machine and that he couldn't do anything about it. I'm sorry but if you bring in a vendor into your store, you should be responsible for it, regardless of who contractually owns it. Customers don't know the difference. After all, I'm writing a review for Office 11211 not for whatever business owns the copy machine. I explained my position and politely asked that the full difference be refunded or that they credit me toward a purchase I was going to make. He refused. Finally he caved and offered $1.00. I demanded a full refund, then after he finally caved, the female associate from the register came over and said I must have dropped the change and that there is no way that the machine could be wrong. I replied to her that surely they must have CCTV in the store and that they should pull it up to verify. Anyways, awful experience. Can't believe your employees put me on the spot to make me look like I was there stealing .80c or whatever from your business. read more

Yup if you read the reviews they charge you a $1 fee for a package that you already paid shipment for. They should display a sign to state that as I waited on a long line for 20 minutes to get my package scanned to then know I had to pay an additional $1 for a package I already paid for. The customer care in my opinion is lacking. Might as well go to the post office and get similar customer service. read more

First of all, you can't drop off usps packages that already have postage. They won't or can't take them. Make sure to ask specifically what your going to be charged. I just went through a whole setup for shipping a package and then they suddenly told me there was a credit card minimum because my postage was under a threshold. read more
