I was having issues with my store purchasing card for printing. Enrique was super patient and helped me print on the spot. I had to order online to send to store in order for my discount to come though for my corporate card. I accidentally sent it to my Office Depot near my house versus the Eugene location. Enrique said it was no issue, he took my info down, personally called the other store and had it transferred to him to complete the job! Customer service here is great! read more

The only reason I'm giving the store 2 stars is because the cashier and ONE employee on the floor were courteous and professional. I came in to buy a work table. I wandered around looking for help and ultimately found a very reluctant employee. His answer to my question about the electrical components (not working on floor model) was basically a shrug and "call the manufacturer." Super rude. Super unfriendly. I went to Eugene store and got better help but now having issues with delivery. I won't be making any more purchases with Office Depot - in person or on-line. read more

I work that office Depot for 5 months from January until May and my entire time working there I got along with everyone except the manager whose name is Thomas kurst am I honest opinion he's a piece of s*** I don't like him I don't respect him I never have and I never will and the reasons why are: . He threatened to fire me four times directly to my face and his office . He talks s*** about me under his breath behind my back to the other employees and managers He told me directly into my face that if him and I were at Applebee's he would have fired me And lastly he tried to steal my debit card when I wasn't looking but I turned my head and saw him caught him red-handed and he took his finger off my card and walked away like he wasn't doing anything wrong. read more

I have been bringing my printing and laminating project here for the past three years. Just in the past couple of months the staff in the printing department has changed and some of the prices have drastically gone up. Today I needed just five pages laminated and grommets put in three of them. There was one guy in the department on the phone, probably with some sort of service call. He never acknowledged my existence. It was 9:50am. Another employee came over and asked what I needed after about 10 minutes of waiting. He said my project would not be done until 2:00pm. I guess I will find another shop that wants my business because obviously this Office Depot does not. read more

TERRIBLE!!!!! There should be a Zero Star option because that's what they deserve for provided Zero Service! Prior to carving out the time and driving to the store, I called ahead to be sure they had the product I was looking for. They did. The young man I spoke to on the phone asked if I "had a phone number on file". I responded with "probably not" and asked "why?". He told me the price of the toner is $115.00 (+), and if I "had a phone number on file you would get it for $97.00". That was all he said. He never told me about any programs, etc. Prior to getting in my vehicle to drive there, I went on their site and registered. I then drove to the store on Chad Road, picked up the toner, brought it to the registered, gave the cashier my phone number, she confirmed it was me, and it registered at $115.00(+). I informed the cashier I had a phone number on file and she told me the discount applies to "businesses only". Not at all what I was told on the phone. Since all my calls are recorded, I listened again. The original person I spoke to never provided a name, nor did I ask. It didn't see necessary. So I left the store without the toner because I don't like being lied to. On my drive home my partner suggested I call the store manager to share my experience, so I did. When I called back and asked for the "store manager", I won't provide names at this time, but he told me he was the "assistant store manager". I then asked to "speak to the store manager" and he told me there wasn't one, and he was the "assistant store manager". He listen then interrupted me telling me that I "misunderstood". I tried to tell him I was never informed of any "programs" but he refused to listen and was flexing his authority as the Office Depot Assistant Store Manager. His demeanor was arrogant and clearly was protecting himself and/or his employee. Did not care about the customer or their experience! I don't appreciate having my time wasted, or being treated as I "misunderstood". What a joke! What's worse, I NEVER received an apology! I call boys like that "Little Shits". I would never shop there and will encourage everyone to go somewhere else. I wish I read this store's reviews prior to wasting my time, gas and my energy! I'd rather pay a bit more than having some young, arrogant little kid tell me I "misunderstood" because he did not provide the correct information! After listening to my first recorded telephone conversation, there's no doubt he was the person I spoke to. Not a truthful person. Very unprofessional! He's certainly not going to get far in life with that sense of "entitlement" behavior. read more

The girl in their tech support department was really unhelpful, and sounded very annoyed when picking up the call. I asked her for help regarding a KVM switch that they sell to see what version of DisplayPort it supports, she said it's only sold online and couldn't provide any other additional info. Office Depot on line order 8/8/2021. I ordered a computer program, Winzip for Windows 10, on line and paid $49.99 with my VISA. I received an URL to download the product, down loaded it, and attempted to initiate the exc. file. I received a message "this app can't run on your PC." I contacted Office Depot Customer Service, which in its self was quite the ordeal since contacts are not easy to make. Drop downs and no place to enter a problem. Finally found a telephone number and contacted "Customer Service" ha ha. They (she) told me that my issue would be passed on to, I believe, their technical support, At this point I wasnt paying a lot of attention so I dont recall what the exact title was. After asking for, then demanding, a refund I was informed that they couldnt do that, I would have to wait for who ever the referenced entity was and that might take a week to 10 days! On August 9 I received an email from redsupport (redsupport@arvato-scs.com), who ever that is, instructing me to "Can you please disable the antivirus and the firewall, then try again? If you are still having issues, please provide us with a screenshot of the error message you have", I tried this with still no success. I then sent them a screen shot of the only message I got, "this app can't run on your PC." On August 10th I received an email from a contractor, a Research Specialist at the Virtual warehouse, Office Depot. It read: "Thank you for contacting us regarding the above order# for the item# 7539888WINZIP 25 PRO WINDOWS), QTY (1). Can you please provide us with a screenshot of the error message? Also, what is your operating system? On August 12th I received a second email from the "Research Specialist". It read: Hi Bruce, Thank you for contacting us regarding the above order# for the item# 7539888WINZIP 25 PRO WINDOWS), QTY (1). This is to let you know your request is still pending. We apologize for any delay, and greatly appreciate your patience. I am awaiting follow up to support resolving this issue for you. I will continue to monitor this transaction and advise you once we have an update. This is August 16 and still no resolution. All of this for a $49.99 product and all I wanted was a refund!! read more

Checking out took a little longer than it probably should have but the customer was chatty with the lady at the register, I get it, it happens. Bought a $180 office chair after sitting it in the store and was satisfied with the comfort and build quality. Got it home and followed the assembly instructions to the letter. Everything went together fine except where the chair seat met the piston was loose. This let the whole seat portion of the chair wobble from side to side very uncomfortable! I fiddled with it for awhile and gave up. I took it back a while later and show them the wobble, they had the guy that builds the chairs take a look. I get called back saying my chair is fixed. I got there and sit in it, and it still wobbles. I ask about this and they said they "put a new plate on it" whatever that means, and nothing else they can do... just the way the manufacturer made the chair. They are busy, and i didn't feel like getting into it. I get the chair home, and I really don't think they did anything it just as bad as it was. Went back a day later, and said that I was done trying to make the chair work. Got a full refund on an Office Depot gift card, and am very satisfied. read more

Office Depot is suffering a terminal illness and has about 6 months to live. The illness of which I am referring to is abysmal customer service. Two days before Christmas, and we walked into the store to see three employees milling about the "customer service" desk eating Christmas cookies. My husband and I were the only customers in the store and we weren't even acknowledged. Guess their mouths were too full. Hubs asked for someone to help us with the office furniture, and we were followed by a nice enough young guy. (Hence the single star). We inquired of a particular chair our son wants for Christmas, and was told the floor model was the only one left. We asked if we could purchase that one. The clerk asked "the manager" and was told absolutely not. Hubs asked why, and this is what we were told, "Because we pay a company to put them together, so we don't sell the floor models until they go on clearance." She just shrugged and offered no apology (even an insincere one) and went back to her cookie munching. She made no attempt to mask her complete indifference to our plight. We decided the real manager must have gone home for the evening and she was on a power trip. Sadly, Office Depot you are too sick for any hope of a cure. Turn out the lights and lock the doors. Maybe when the liquidator company shows up we can actually buy that floor model you refused to part with. read more

Probably one of the poorest Office Depot locations I've done business with. They really don't have any urgency for getting things done. If you want packages mailed out on time, don't use this location for FedEx or USPS priority purposes. Twice now, I've sent priority or urgent packages, and they've showed up two days later than they were supposed to. The mail clerks might seem nice, but they're rather uninformed. I was recently in the location buying printer paper and wanted to know what was going on, so I stood back and watched the clerks working. A large majority of them were spending more time on their phones than doing anything else. A line formed at the front register and only one clerk was taking care of patrons. Now They want me to wait a week for it to be picked up for return then another two weeks to get my money back. There is no reason they can't pick it up today. They lied about how long it would take to get here so i cancelled and ordered from else where. I was given a ref # for the cancel then they sent it anyway. Totally unprofessional. read more

Warning to all teachers. If you going to buy any office electronics, use it prior of school began. You have only 14 days to return. I donated a laser copier to a teacher for her classroom. She had finally set it up but the copies were faint. Unfortunately it was on her 32 days from the the day It was purchased, Office Depot will not help me per their policy. Instead I have To tell her to call the manufacture for the warranty. I will not be doing any business at Office Depot and I'll make sure to let all the school district know. read more

The lack of customer service was terrible. I went in here in a slow day with no other customers in the store and still no one managed to come up to me and ask if I needed help or was finding everything alright, when I was trying to purchase a chair. I had to go up to the employees who were just standing around and ask for assistance and they fold me they would find someone to help me, then I tell the lady which chair I want after she asked and she says "well you could just show it to me" like okay? Sorry you don't know your own products of the great selection of 20 chairs. I'm glad I got my chair but I honestly could've done it all online with more ease. read more

I went in to pick up an online order at 8pm, I received the confirmation email saying it was ready for pick up at 7am the same morning. After the customer service manager Amber told me that the order did not exist and I needed to use my patience, I spent an hour sitting in the store on the phone with customer service who would put me on hold and called the manager to try to figure it out. I received three different stories from the customer service agent saying first that the order should be ready in the store for me ( the in store manager already said it wasn't there), next they said the product wasn't in the store even though I could clearly see it behind the counter, and then they said it had actually already been picked up. After arguing with the person over the phone and the manager for over an hour I finally left with my printer ink. Needless to say, I'm not sure how this manager still has her job if she treats customers the way or how Office Depot is still in business. The company I am with has been buying all of our office supplies here for over 10 years but we will definitely not be shopping here anymore. read more

I received the worst customer service. I had order a product on line which was going to be shipped to the store. I was called and was told the item was ready to be picked up from the Office Depot on Chad Dr. in Eugene. I went there to pick it up and it wasn't there according to the associates working. I told them some one called me to let me know it was ready to pick up at their store. One associate said it was probably a prank call (Really). The item was know where to be found they said it would be shipped to my home. I told them it was shipped to their store, they said I was wrong. the next day I called to see if it was there. They told me it was being shipped to my house. Being supper frustrated I called the 1800 number they told me it was at the store. While I was on the phone with someone from the 1800 number (forever) they said it wasn't at the store. While I was waiting while they called the store someone from the Office Depot on Chad Dr. left a message on my phone and said they had what I had ordered. Will definitely rethink about shopping there. (get it together Office Depot)! read more
