Spoke with the manager, Peter, today about an issue I had with incorrect orders being place on my account. I manage a business in Oregon, and an order was placed in store for a similar business name, but it wasn't me. The customer paid in store so no charge to my account. I called to verify the information, see why the order was added to my account, and let him know that it happened. He was fantastic and quick. Looked up the info, spoke with the employee, confirmed the inaccuracy and done. After speaking with him, I had to call another store located in Phoenix that the same thing also happened at. That manager was beyond rude, unhelpful and disrespectful. He even hung up on me. So, I called Peter back and asked for his help since that manager wasn't willing to. Peter did no problem, looked up the information for me and confirmed that all three incorrect orders from CO, AZ and IL were all similar, incorrect orders created by employee error. Prior to visiting the location, I made a phone call to inquire about lamination services and was advised that I could come in for a quick service. When I arrived, I had to wait for two customers ahead of me. When I finally spoke with a staff member, I explained my need for urgent lamination for work. The staff member informed me that they had a substantial workload with at least 30 jobs ahead, and despite my assurance that it would take less than 2 minutes, he was unwilling to accommodate my request, even arguing about the feasibility. I then requested to speak to a manager, but was told that they were in meetings. Given the poor service, I decided to leave and share my disappointing experience. read more

Had to come to Office Depot to print out some pictures and brochures for my dad's celebration of life worked with two amazing customer service employees Emily and Mia. They made the transition easy and quick. They were very respectful and made sure to focus on our needs. read more

I've been coming to Office Depot for the last 6+ months to get things printed since I run a small business. 9/10 times I run into issues. It's rarely ever put on the self service shelf so I have to go up and ask about it. I've received my order printed wrong as separate sheets when It was suppose to be double sided, and every time my double sided sheets are lined up differently so when I cut out the parts I need, it doesn't match up to the back of the design or to how it was printed last time, sometimes I don't even receive confirmation emails/texts about my order. It has become incredibly inconvenient for me even though it's the closet and cheapest options. I'm defeated. I will be going somewhere else now. read more

1st visit~left 16 ink cartridges for recycling. was told that I had $32.00 credit. No additional information was given. 2nd visit- intended to purchase printer ink. they were out of stock. I asked if would order the item and was told by both the cashier and manager they couldn't do that. NOTE: there were signs all over thst they'd be happy to order for you. They also told me that I would have to purchase something for $10 before my rewards would take affect. I then ordered $16 worth of product before the end of the eligible month.. Beforr ordering something online, I make sure that my $20 worth of rewards was there. I ordered it and received an email stating that I been given the $20 credit. While checking my bank statement I was charged amount without the $20 credit. I cslled customer service and was told they would be switching me over to the rewards department. Back to the SI bot and I was never hooked up with a real person. I called the main switchboard again talked to a representative who told me that I could have a $20 credit for the next three months. I will no longer do business with this company. If you do make sure you know all the risks. No wonder brick and mortar stores are having problems. This store usually has everything I need and when they don't, they either find it for me at another location or order it. The print shop does great work too. Fast service and fair pricing. Trying to buy spiral notebooks for my students. Found a good deal online. Three dollars and some change for six notebooks. Went to the store, the manager Wesley told me they're only available online and they have to be delivered. The manager was sarcastic with me and rude. I told him the spiral notebooks cost nine dollars and to be delivered. The shipping is nine dollars. He said. Told him I was going to leave a bad review. Highly recommend NOT using this store. They are awful, time after time. Their customer service is THE WORST. My most recent issue was that they used to accept printing orders via email (as recently as this past summer) and apparently now no longer accept email orders. You now have to order online or go into the store. No big deal right? That is unless you have a Store Purchasing Program card which gives a big discount and you want to use it. For that you have no choice but to do the order in store (the SPP# isn't accepted online). Then I was left with an additional problem. I needed the photo I was trying to print mirrored so it printed backwards onto the paper. Again, something super easy for them to do when you email in an order. But I was told time and time again that I had no other option but to come in the store to do it. And guess what? When you come in the store to do it, you have to use their copier machine unless you load your items onto a USB which I didn't have. And guess what else? The copier you have to use won't mirror the photo! After MUCH frustration that they weren't going to make an acceptation for my tiny order being emailed in, I went into the store. I asked two different people for help and neither of them were willing. In fact, they were downright dismissive and rude. AND THEY WORK IN THE PRINTING CENTER. They couldn't be bothered to listen to what I needed, tried to pass me off to someone else, twice, and never ended up helping me. So I left. And I won't be going back. It's one thing if a store changes a policy and a complete other when they refuse to help. The WORST customer service I've experienced in a long time. And this was just the most recent problem. read more

Old, small location with slow service and check out. I wouldn't go to this location except it is close to my house.

I tried ordering ink online on 4/21. 5 hours later I get an email saying they canceled my order because they didn't have it in stock. I called to check if they had something close, the guy didn't understand why my order was canceled because they had several in stock. The order was still charged out of my account , and they said it would take a day to refund. It's now been 6 days and I've yet to see that $50 back in my account. 6 days of being out $50 when there wasn't even a reason to cancel the order in the first place. Plus I paid $6 more dollars on the purchase since I had to buy it in store. read more

Once again, Office Depot saved the day. In search of some very much needed invitations ( Graduation announcements and invitations mind you!!), I poked my head into Office Depot for a look around. I have always gone to stores like these for school supplies (love that smell of new notebooks, paper and the sight of new pencils and desk furniture...i'm so odd) and because I was on a mission, I knew this was the place to go. Wow, I went in thinking employees would be provided masks and gloves to protect themselves and their customers, but none had either.

Seems like a smaller older store, but maybe I have been spoiled living in Belmar. However the store in Belmar isn't new so I don't know. I was referred to this store by an employee at Wolf Camera which is in the same parking lot. I was looking for wide format paper to print some photos out I was hoping to find some fine art paper, museum etching or canvas or something along those lines. I had hoped the camera store would have some if only a small selection. I found that Office Depot did carry a selection of glossy paper and they even had some wide format stuff available. I didn't purchase anything because the stuff available was glossy and not really what I was looking for. I took some time while there to wander the store a little though. It was a decent store and if you are in the area and need some office supplies it is a great location. read more

Tried to exchange a broken item. Was told that because I didn't have my receipt that I had to call a 800#. Even though I am a rewards member? Can't you look it up that way? No you need to call this #. After 20 minutes on hold and another 10 on the call the women said she could email me the Receipt in 48 hours. Huh? read more

They even offered me a business account for my business which was great because it will save me $$. After I signed up for the business account i received an email and a phone call to confirm everything. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I went in at noon to have 2 books bound with a spiral binding. The man behind the counter said the wait would be tonight or tomorrow. Well, which is it? Should I return in 5 or 17 hours for you to complete this 10 minute job? I went to Office Max and they had it done in less than 10 minutes. read more

Very impressed with the staff at this store, especially Adam who I felt went above and beyond with a very frustrating computer issue I was having. He was great explaining to me when it came time to decide what to do about all the options I had. He made a bad situation turn out perfect and now I am so happy with my choice. I have worked in customer service most of my adult life and I am very upset when people who have no right working in customer service actually get paid to be rude and unhelpful.
