I thought I already wrote a review from previous experiences, but I guess I didn't. The ONLY reason I've returned to this store since my 1st experience is because it's so close to home, but after my poor experience (again) last Friday, I won't be coming back. Office Depot is my very first choice out of the other two competitors when it comes to all my office supplies, printer paper, ink cartridges, SD cards, etc. the reason why is #1, they are much cheaper than OfficeMax or Staples. I will be giving my reviews on those two stores in the near future. #2, they are willing to go up to about three weeks back to when there was a sale on an item and honor that sale price long after the sale is over. #3, they're not car salesman or pushy and anyway, but they do ask you politely is there anything that they can help you find or if you have any questions please feel free to ask anything. Other places I go to, I tend to feel like I'm wandering and I'm actually being avoided by the employees. For whatever reason, I have no idea. They have copy and fax on the premises for a reasonably low price. They have computer software, notebook computers tablets, digital cameras, and just about any accessory needed for a computer from external hard drives to high quality cases and over the shoulder bags fitted for your laptop or tablet depending on the size you prefer. They are constantly having sales every week and I almost forgot to mention their bathrooms are extremely clean and private. I would say give Office Depot a try and let them prove to you a shopping experience that is just about right on to the review that I am writing right now. read more

Jonathan should get employee of the month! I walked in today looking to pick up a few chairs for my office. After walking around and looking at the selection, Jonathan approached myself and introduced himself and walking me through the entire selection of chairs. I explained my color scheme needs and was able to match my taste. Not to many employees go above and beyond for their customers anymore, I give Office Depot, Moreno Valley and Jonathan 5 stars. Busy store.. the business cards that were printed turned out good the only thing. some of them were cut unevenly also it took about 2 weeks to get them not because that's how long it will take them to work on it. They just don't return your phone call or call you back when they say they will. You have to make sure you stop into check. It would be better then calling them on the phone and to be placed on hold for a while. Have to give thanks to Brandon, the Copy and Print Supervisor, at the Sunnymead Office Depot in Moreno Valley. My mom passed away recently and we were trying to prepare a program for her service. We went in very frustrated with other print stores trying to set up and print the program for the service which was only a few days away. He made it so painless. Super helpful. Exceeded our expectations and so very courteous, patient and understanding! We received exactly what we needed and on time for a very reasonable price. And he was super nice to boot. This is my to go spot for my printing needs. For the most part they take care of whatever project I have going on. I've order pdf's from Etsy whenever I have birthdays, bachelorette, anniversary parties and this is my first choice to print all my needs. I love the fact they are willing to work with you. I've had images that I need printed and was worried it would come out blurry, Enrique from this store was very helpful with his input on the images and how they would come out. That was very helpful especially when your time is limited & don't want to waist anyone's time. read more

Horrible service. Clerk hangs up the phone and isn't able to give basic information. Came here in person and it's a complete nightmare. There is no one to help and their equipment is outdated. Wow, 25cents per page to scan a document! Seems a little overpriced for a store that seems kind of outdated and grungy. The best part is there are prices posted for printing copies, but not scanning.. next time I'll spend more time at home on my small scanner and save $19.. SMH.... read more

Lousy customer service and totally incompetent staff. I prepaid for some software and called to confirm if it was ready for pick up. I was placed on excessively long holds multiple times. Finally, the employee confirmed that the item was in stock and that it would be waiting for me up front. Not once did he indicate that I needed to send my picture ID. In fact, I specifically asked him if there was anything else that my assistant needed to bring with him to ensure that there would be no glitches; I was again reassured that nothing else was needed and that the item would be waiting up front. However, just to be on the safe-side, I went ahead and printed a copy of my PAID email confirmation and sent it with my assistant for further proof. When he arrived he was told by the store employee and subsequently by the store manager, Ms. Kahla Webb, that they could not release the merchandise to him. He asked if they could call me to clarify any issues or concerns they may have. Again, the answer was NO; they could not verify my Id that way! He offered to have me fax the ID and again that, too, was a NO! I needed to personally go with my ID. Are you freaking kidding me? The manager made no effort to mitigate our inconvenience caused by her poorly trained staff. It would be in Office Depot's best interest to take some time to better train their staff so they do not send customers on unnecessary wild goose chases by giving them utterly wrong information. In the end I cancelled the order and ordered from Staples which, in hindsight, would have been the fastest way to go given the total incompetence displayed by the staff at Office Depot in Moreno Valley. Had I ordered back when I placed my original order with Office Depot, I would have had it delivered by now. I was never a huge Office Depot fan to begin with, but given this experience they have lost my business for sure. Time is money and I do not like to waste mine. Very DISAPPOINTED. read more

slow slow slow service. Staff on lunch break at copy print center rush hour btwn 5-6 pm. Waited over 10 minutes to make one dup of just four pages. Asked manager to send more staff to assist. He (Adam) made eye contact said he would send someone to assist the copy ladies but he didn't do it. Another clerk said he went to lunch. What? Very very bad service. Boycotting this place. I literally downloaded yelp just to write this review. If I could I would give this store a 0 star review. The manager scammed me! So I bought this anti virus at Office Depot. The manager gave me an anti virus from the back. I bought it and when I got home and started putting the info into the antivirus software it said that the card has been used. I called the antivirus company and they told me the person who was using the antivirus was named Jeremiah. And the manager's name was Jeremiah. I went back to the store and demanded a refund. Don't buy crap from this store. It looks sketchy and the service sucks to. I go to Best Buy better if I need anything. read more

I called at 9:45 in the morning to make sure they would be able to process my order by 4pm that day . After checking with Judy I was told come in and it would get done. I get there and the line is long only person behind the desk was judy. Finally after waiting 30 min it was my turn . I had already emailed my two pictures I needed enlarged and dry mounted that day for my daughters graduation. Judy printed them out right then and said they needed to dry and should be done by 1:30. On the paperwork she wrote due by 4 3:30 at the latest in red . I was so happy I was going to get what my daughter had been asking for . I called around 2 to check status . I was told they were not done yet but she promised it would get done by 3:30 and to come in . I went in again a huge line! Took me 20min good thing I went early . I got to the front and judy looked frazzled and told the other lady helping me they were not done and would'nt be done till tomorrow . Ummm tomorrow ???? She insisted it wasn't due till tomorrow. I had her pull the paper work which said it would be done today . Again she was upset and said fine I'll go do it but I have to rush ... She comes back a couple min later and says it ripped you made me rush and they are ruined . What do you want to do ??? I was so upset and she was so rude about it . She told me you saw how busy I was this morning . I reminded her they were printed at 10:30 am and just needed to dry and be dry mounted . She again said you saw how busy I was its been like this all day . I've been too busy I couldn't get it done . She even talked about her lunch and how she barely Got to take one . I'm sorry there is no excuse for dropping the ball and not completing work that was paid in advance $42.00! I ordered a plain plastic folder in a particular color online. When I went to pick it up, I waited 10 minutes to be attended when employees were walking around some even looking at me dead in the eye. I was finally helped but I was told that my order was not in the system. I double checked my phone and showed it to the employee but he was not able to find it. He then walked to the folder aisle and brings two different color folders. They did not have the color I had ordered to begin with. I asked for a refund and he did not provide me with a receipt. When I asked him for it, he said I should get an email about. Of course, no email. I had to file a complaint with my card company for a $4 plastic folder. A simple pick-up turned into a total waste of my time. I will not be coming into this store again. read more

first they added a new online que for the line. some places make you do this with an ipad and putting in your name and or phone number; kind of annoying but not too bad. here at office depot you have to use your phone to text your number and then do a reply. what if i came without my phone to do my quick print? what about all the older people that can barely use their phones? and now there's a $5 minimum fee that you can't even throw on a purchase from the rest of the store to cover for your 10¢ print. i've been coming to this office depot since around 2007 and with these new changes i can't wait to see this location empty within a year. Horrible wait time and that is due to understaffing. Very disappointed to have had to wait an hour and a half to print out business card. However I applaud the worker "Ozzy" for his exceptional customer services acknowledging everyone and trying his best to do multiple things at once. I just went today to print out my resume and I didn't even receive it because the workers take forever. I went yesterday and it took the Associate 20 minutes for him to give me my resume. There no reason why there should be TWO girls working on ONE computer as well. I lost $100 today because I left my job early to print out this resume so I can go to this interview. This store is amazing. Why? the PEOPLE!!! The associates and management are the best. They have everything needed, if not they get it and the service is always outstanding. I love these guys!!!! I have been trying to get the parking lot to comply with disabled access building standards but that is not their problem. They are helpful if I get into trouble with my wheelchair. From purchase online to pick-up, to return within 14 days OD has been a very good store to do business with. I was sorry to return the merchandise because the service was that good. Also, by accident I left a CD on the player and OD had no problem in fishing it out and having it ready for pick up. The tech department was also great. The worked on my computer and and got it running like new, and for flat fee. OD is a good store that I will patronize it in my future purchases. read more

I don't know what to say. This has always been my go to shop but it has been sliding, I used to be greeted and helped right away. but more and more, I have been going in and no greet at all. This time I came in looking for ink for my printer and no greet, no help and no shelf inventory of my ink. I couldn't seem to get the attention of the clerk that had her back to me because she was too involved in a discussion with another employee about a local bar. Being upset at what was taking place in front of me, I was going to take it up with the manager but he was too involved telling jokes to his other employees at another register. I walked in looking to print 2 things. I walked up where a girl was waiting at the counter and an associate (female with long black hair) was putting together some sort of book. I waited for about 5 mins and two other people arrived and a line started to form. The female associate finally looked up and called someone on her radio to come help her. When the male associate arrived he asked the girl waiting at the counter if she had been helped. "No". REALLY??? We had all been standing there for at least 10 mins and the female didn't even look up, not once!!! Finally. When she decided she wanted to help me out I asked for the two printouts (which I figured out on my own, that I had to email them first). The girl in front of me had a picture printed and asked the male associate to cut the edges a bit for her, he said no problem. The female associate, bothered and with an aggressive tone, says "YOU KNOW THATS A 25¢ CHARGE PER CUT RIGHT? WE HAVE A SELF SERVE MACHINE OVER THERE THAT DOES THE SAME THING" ... The male replied "Geez relax, it's not a big deal". I got my prints and left before I got too upset and said something. I will not only never return to this location, but will never return to any Office Depot again. HORRIBLE customer service and lack of training. read more

I had a filing deadline at work and took work home to finish. I needed specific supplies to tab and assemble hundreds of pages of documents. This place was most unhelpful and utter waste of my time. First person didn't know what I wanted. Second person Informed me items I wanted were only available online and couldn't assist me (store was not busy, I think I was only one in the store after 5pm). The office work is not uncommon and the supplies I was asking for (that were available at my work) did exist. If your business name has office and you supply these supplies you should be familiar with products and have either an alternative or at the least assist me by checking to see if you can get them or I go to their other store. actually all the printer staff are all nice and helpful, but some of them gets pretty annoyed when you do your files wrong or when you ask them to trim your paper on all 4 sides, but they shouldnt be mad cause thats their job!! .. but i have another favorite worker, who also helps me out too, her name is Tasha, she works on sunday mornings, i think she's new cuz i dont see Evelyn anymore. but i still take this store over my school printer, even though they're cheap but they print their copies pretty dark. read more

Kudos to this store. Mercedes provided great customer service. Helped us find what we were looking for and was very cheerful and sweet.

The laptop arrived when promised and was in way better shape than anticipated. There were no obvious signs of wear and tear; it looked brand new and, more importantly, functioned perfectly.
