I'm reviewing as a restaurant. It has a pool table, a couple of games and has wood plank walls. Some antlers, elks head and furs as decorations. Country music overhead. The entire place is smoking I think because so many ash trays and smoking. The menu had steaks, lobster, pizza and breakfast - wide variety. I ordered a 1/2 pound cheeseburger and salad. Salad was iceberg lettuce with one tomato slice and a couple of purple onion slices as well as some cabbage and carrot strings. Dressing came on the side. Cheeseburger was big and tasty and was as big as the bun. It can with lettuce, pickles, tomato, onion and they brought out mustard as well. Mayonnaise, ketchup, steak sauces, tobacco plus salt and pepper cane on table. Staff friendly but busy. Only real con was smoke smell. read more

Great spot for beers, cigarette smoke, COVID, and even a confederate flag. I enjoyed one of these four things, so we left after that one beer. No masks or even pretending they had masks. So here's the deal y'all. When you go to The Office Pub, you have to know what you're getting yourself into. Don't expect fast service. Don't expect healthy options or a gourmet meal. Expect to smell like smoke, even if you don't sit in the smoking section. That being said, I always look forward to coming to the Office when I'm at the lake with fam. It's a cheap, good time. They have pitchers (but no more Coors Light, they replaced it with Shock Top), pizza, and many fried options. We usually get pizza to go, because it takes so long (so call ahead!). The cheese pizza is my fave. There is nothing fancy going on here, either. Just yummy, semi thin crusted, cheesy goodness. I've also tried the fried fish (yum) and the macho nachos without meat (skip these). Oh, and Wednesday nights are apparently dollar taco nights! We also just discovered that they have a new fangled karaoke machine in the bar area! Yes! It's electronic and has whatever song you can think of. The crowd is fun and filled with colorful locals who like to request songs and make you feel welcome. The lady running the machine is super cool and has a great voice. She let us sing a song with her, and kept us at the mike all night. Seriously, so much fun!! read more

Just got home from a terrible breakfast experience here. I've lived all over and I absolutely hate coming to visit my parents because I'm inevitably disappointed when we go out to eat, even at at popular local places that are supposed to be a big deal. Was told when we sat down there would be a 35-40 minute wait. Ok... Seems a little ridiculous for eggs and toast but, sure, we'll wait. Ordered two omelettes and an order of scrambled eggs. Set a timer on my phone. Started complaining when the timer hit 50 mins. Was told "Sir, we told you about the wait. There's nothing I can do. I make $4 dollars an hour." Food finally arrived at 1hr 5 mins after ordering. It wasn't even good. I actually feel sick. Who knows what they did to my food after complaining. "The south will rise again!" Good luck with that. You can't even get scrambled eggs right. read more

We stopped here based on recommendation. The smell of smoke is overwhelming and by the end of the night was burning my nose. Our waitress was nice and attentive. Everyone here is definitely from the south and that is very easy to tell. Now that we have talked about the atmosphere now the food I ordered the pizza not thinking it was goin to be very good because after all this is a steakhouse but I was decently surprised it was pretty good. The others in my group ordered steak and fish the steak was cooked how they asked and tasted good and the fish was always good. Now on to why I gave this 2 stars... We got here at about 7 p.m. and they were already out of the special for the night and baked potatoes our food also took about an hour to get to us. All and all it was a decent place if you have time to stop for 2 hours go ahead but if you're in a rush this is not your place. read more

New ownership! Apparently this place didn't do well during the days of Covid (see other comments). My family has been going to the "Pub" when we visit every few months since before the place burned down about twenty years ago and got rebuilt. After a bit of a rough start, the newest owners have really gotten this place working well. New longer hours. Shorter menu, but better food. We ate there last Saturday evening. The new waitress was good and pleasant. My hamburger was one of the best I have ever had anywhere which is saying something since I have visited nearly every burger contest winner in Iowa and Nebraska in recent years. My wife's said her rubin was great, and my Mom said her meal was the best things she has ever had there. It's been rough the last couple years - I recommend giving the old Restaurant at the Pub another try. read more

We love to go here to watch any of the sports games while enjoying the food! We love the food, generous portions and always good. We had the shrimp dinner and it was delicious. So many shrimp and the sides were great too! We've had their steaks and hamburgers as well and so good. The reason for 4 star rating is it's smoky. I always leave smelling like smoke and I sit in the non-smoking section. There is not enough separation between the two and it does make it hard for non-smokers. read more

I've driven past this place for years on my way to or from Branson from NWA and it always has a lot of cars and I think to myself, someday I will stop there! We finally did it because we didn't eat before the trek home. They actually have 3 doors into the place. The far left is for dining and they have both smoking and non-smoking as well as a balcony overlooking the valley outside. The center door is to the pub-a full scale bar with lounge seating and a pool table and the far right door is to the liquor/package store. My husband and I started with a veggie sampler of fried mushrooms, zucchini and some brocolli cheddar nuggets. A big fried mess and way more than we could eat but very tasty. I had a philly steak sandwich with fries and my husband had the french dip with au jus, both pretty tasty. The menu consists of salads, hot or cold sandwiches, burgers, steaks, seafood, some pasta and pizza(after 4). It's an obvious hangout for the locals in Eagle Rock as people coming and going seemed to know the watiresses and vice versa as well as each other based on the commentary. It also appears to be a draw for bikers coming through the area. They serve breakfast till noon. I'm glad I finally tried it and will keep it in mind now when travelling up to Branson as a place to stop and eat on our drive. read more

Sure, it's had its ups and downs but ever since Mike and Pam sold it to some people from Little Rock, it has become completely unbearable. Food- overpriced and sucks! I watched the manager chase a customer out the door in to the parking lot because he complained about not having a side dish with his meal. Also, watched as a stuck up bartender told an older gentleman( who has been here forever) that she wouldn't serve him because he was way too old to be here and 'we are trying to attract younger people and non-locals.' Do yourself a favor, drive an extra mile on 86 PAST this crap hole, and go to a new place called 'The Local' right across from Shumaker Tire. Awesome food!awesome service! FRIENDLY waitstaff. Please DON'T waste your time or money! As stated by other reviewers, I had to go get our menus myself and then still waited about 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us! We ordered two hamburgers and a hotdog and it took over 50 minutes to get them! The hamburgers were burnt to a crisp and tasted like fish! They were disgusting!!! Not operating as if there is a pandemic. Cleanliness is lacking, as many have said... the wait time to get any food is lengthy, the service is as good as you are at flagging down someone. If you have any issues with cigarette smoke, then I wouldn't recommend stopping. This place would have been 4 stars from me, even 3 years ago. Attempted to order four pizzas last night and after about thirty five minutes the waitress came out and told us they were making more pizza dough and it would be about another fifteen minute. After waiting another hour I went into the bar area and found the waitress serving pizza to another table and all were joking like they were eating the pizzas we had ordered. The waitress had the "deer in the headlights" look like she had been caught with no explanation as to where our pizzas were except she would check. Didn't wait to find out after being there for over two hours. I want to be sure I put what day this was so there will be no mistake as to when this occurred (Memorial Day). Took over an hour to get 4 steaks. Appetizers never came. Had to flag down waiter and ask for more drinks. Steaks had no seasoning and came out cold and over cooked. Baked potatoes were hard. This is a huge restaurant and bar. I really like the way it is set up. There is the bar and restaurant. Then there is a restaurant by its self. The two are Connected by a hallway. You can drink in either, but if you are with small kids or are Like me and have out grown the bar seen, you can eat in complete peace with out ever being bothered by a bar with several people in it. I would also like to point out that I would consider this a restaurant with a bar (not a bar with a "restaurant"). It has a huge menu with just about anything you could want. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and the very reasonable pricing. This def was the most peaceful mean I have ever had in a bar. So if you want so good food or you want drink or both this is def a good choice. P.s. Don't expect fast service because the waitress from the restaurant side also work the bar and bar restaurant, I waited for almost 10 min from when she took my cup to get a refill till when she came back. This story is so outlandish you know it's true.....To spare you a very long story I'm gonna keep this pretty short and to the point. The bartender who was also going to court the next day....‍...told us to act like we were getting leaving and he was going to "pretend"to kick us out so everyone else would leave. He did this because he wanted to hang out with our friend Laurie. We sat in the car for a few minutes and then went in to ask if we were good to come back in and the guy (bartender) had a FULL on PSYCHOTIC breakdown and LITERALLY shoved us out the door and denied EVERYTHING. This place is awesome, I've been going to it for the last 5 or 6 years every time I'm down there to visit family. You have to understand that it is a smoking establishment therefore, if you don't like or can't be around cigarette smoke this isn't the place for you. The service in the bar area is very good, so if you're just looking to have a beer and bite to eat i would suggest sitting in the bar area to order your food.
