    Osmanthus Matcha, Banana Matcha
    Teja K.

Good matcha spot in cap hill! Tried it for the first time with a friend. Space inside is a little small, and was pretty crowded when I visited, but the interior is super cute and cozy; it's the perfect study spot. I tried the iced banana matcha and my friend got the osmanthus matcha. Both were very good. The osmanthus is strong and floral. And the banana bread cold foam has a strong caramelized banana and cinnamon flavor, exactly like the banana jam I usually make at home. I liked that the matcha itself was very light on the sweetness, the sweet cold foam complemented that well when mixed into the drink. I'd probably recommend the osmanthus matcha, as the banana is more along the lines of something I'd be able to make at home, whereas osmanthus is more unique and rare. Was it worth the price? Probably not, but it's still it's one of the better matcha spots in the Seattle area.

The banana bread matcha latte was delicious! I got it with oat milk and they didn't charge me for the alt milk ($8.75)! I also got a croissant ($6) which was perfectly flaky and buttery. Decor here is beautiful, I liked looking at all the fun items for sale & I got a vending machine card print which was so cute! The vending machine prints only take quarters and are $1.

Came back here on a return visit with the bestie and decided to redeem the BOGO coupon inside the red envelope I got during their tanghulu promotion last month! Since this visit, they have renamed their Chinese coconut latte to the yezi latte due to confusion of the coconut flavoring used according to this place's IG page. Place is still crowded with lines and seats are still filled to the brim. Staff was quick in applying the coupon. For this visit we got two drinks that were on opposite ends on the satisfaction spectrum: - Orange osmanthus latte: on one end is this drink that my bestie got. Osmanthus tea is strong in this one but there was hardly any orange flavoring in it. - Black sesame vienna: this drink is going away today sadly! Great blend of espresso, milk, and a thick black sesame cream that paired so well together! This is one of those drinks that make black sesame one of my favorites to have in a drink. Even though I did tack off one star for this visit because of the orange osmanthus, this won't deter me from coming back at all. In fact, I still have yet to try their other drinks, and look forward to the new ones the owners come up with!

The coffee at Offline Coffee is off the charts! Located in the western part of the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Offline Coffee proves if you put your heart and mind into making your business dreams come true, anything is possible. Offline Coffee is the brainchild of co-owners and managers Krystal and Lucy, who have gone from proud graduates of nearby University of Washington to successful career individuals to living out the American dream of owning their own business. Located in a relatively quiet area filled with houses and apartments along Bellevue Avenue East in what was once a full service restaurant known as Finch & Pine, Offline Coffee specializes in traditional coffee drinks with an emphasis in Asian flavors. From coffee drinks such as espressos to cold brews to matcha infused beverages from lattes to Americanos they are all here. But what brought this out-of-towner all the way out here via a brief ride share lift from where I was staying, was the fact that Offline Coffee specializes in featuring a number of their beverages that bring together the best flavors found in Asia and stateside. The buzz was good and I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. After being dropped off at about 3 p.m. I knew I only had about an hour to discover what their menu had to offer, and upon arriving Offline Coffee was still rather busy with people typing away at their laptops and others conversing at the large communal table. The menu at Offline Coffee is currently separated into categories including Coffee, Match, Signature Beverages, and their Extras. I decided to order a large size and hot version of their Orange Osmanthus Latte which was made with espresso, milk, osmanthus syrup and topped with orange zest. For an extra 60 cents I ordered it with oak milk. Finding a seat at their communal table that was perfect for working on my laptop was easy to do, and thankfully the preparation for my beverage did not take too long. Sitting there and enjoying my beautifully crafted coffee while typing away truly represents what Seattle is all about and I was proud to partake in this ritual. Nice and smooth with just the hint of orange flavoring with a decadent floral touch as dressing for the top of my warm beverage made for one memorable tasting experience. Enjoying that coffee only made me want to try more of their uniquely crafted beverages and before I left for the afternoon, I decided to order a second beverage for the road, and their Huamei Spritz that was a refreshing cold drink served with Chinese plum syrup, lemon, iced sparkling water and topped with my option of cream. Bright without being overly sweet, it was the perfect drink to take on the road, and as the team at Offline Coffee was closing up shop for the day, they were nice enough to offer a baked good warmed up for my pleasure and I opted for their spinach filled croissant, which was a lovely savory treat that pairs well with everything. I had such a great experience at Offline Coffee, that I was back a mere two days later as a treat to myself and a friend with whom I met up with for lunch. This time I ordered their other coffee beverage listed under their Signature section of their menu and their Yezi Latte which was espresso poured over rich Chinese coconut milk, a unique combination if I have ever enjoyed one and you better believe that I enjoyed this drink just as much as the other two I partook in. While we enjoyed ourselves this time sitting on two of the comfiest seats imaginable in the corner of their coffee shop, we took in each other's company and the vibes of one of the Emerald City's sparkling new gems of the many coffee establishments that dot the city. I cannot wait to return to try more of their seasonal beverages and accompanying sweet and savory pastries. You may have the desire to "take your conversation offline" but with as fine as beverages they create at Offline Coffee you will always be satisfied no matter the drink you order.

Food - I had the banana bread matcha. I picked it because I love banana stuff, but actually not really in love with banana bread because it always has nuts in it. I'm guessing the little crumbles on top of this drink were also nuts. Not my fav. Also had the raspberry croissant and the filling was really liquid-y and ran all over the place when I finally got to the center. Service - long line = long wait. Everyone very polite though. Ambiance - indoor seating, seems like people are there to chill, don't get that rushed feeling. Also a few seats outside.

Cute cafe and great drinks! I love the vibes and theme of the cafe, and everything I've tried here has been delicious. We managed to get a table in the corner despite there being a huge line out the door. It's such a nice spot to relax at! I got the duo matcha, which was a matcha latte with the matcha cream top. It was really good, with a nice matcha flavor that wasn't too much or too little. I want to try the food next time too!

Great new cafe perfect for a sunny day. Beautiful small space with big windows and a pretty cozy vibe and they also sell local handmade ceramics. I tried their strawberry matcha latte and orange osmanthus iced coffee and both were very good- matcha tasted strong and the strawberry wasn't overpowering. Some of the best I've had in a cafe. The coffee wasn't overly sweet either and pleasant to drink. Service was pretty friendly, no complaints. Would recommend and go back to try more things.

This spot is located in Capitol Hill and has a really relaxed, chill vibe. The aesthetic feels very zen a great place to slow down and enjoy your drink. We ordered the strawberry matcha latte and the banana bread matcha latte. The banana bread matcha latte was my favorite they top it with crumbled banana chips, which really sets it off (especially if you're a fan of banana chips like me). The staff was super friendly and helpful with recommendations. Overall, no complaints at all solid experience.

Offline Coffee is a new and welcome addition to the Seattle coffee scene! This spot is a Chinese-inspired coffee shop serving up some unique drinks. To get here, street parking will definitely be your best bet and you may have to circle around for a bit before you find a spot. Inside, they have a modern and cozy interior with about 6-7 tables for seating. For their menu, they have a great selection of coffee and matcha drinks to choose from. Wifey and I opted to try the Osmanthus Matcha Latte and we really enjoyed the flavor profile. All of the staff here are very chill and friendly. Put this spot up next on your list for your next coffee/matcha run in Seattle!

    Soft opening (2/13/26)

I stopped by during Offline Coffee Company's soft opening on Friday 2/13/26. I really wrestled between 4 and 5 stars, but rounded to 5. Open daily 8am-4pm. Expect a challenge for street parking, because it's Capitol Hill and it's along a residential street with dense apartments and condos. Pleasant interior layout around the periphery of the cafe, but smallish. With the laptop crowd, there was no seating with 2 tops & banquettes, cozy nook, or the communal table. Limited bench seating on the sidewalk. Loved the pops of color from the fresh flowers and merch. Merch included unique cups, bowls, chopstick holders, stickers, small art prints, maple black sesame syrup, and matcha whisks. The cafe was well staffed, but there was a wait in line to order, then additional wait time to receive one's beverage order(s). No available seating during my visit, so I sat briefly on an outside sidewalk bench until it just got too cold and started to drizzle. There were very few pastries left in the case by cafe's POS register. One of the owners said they've been busy since opening this morning. Definitely the cafe was well received by the neighborhood and the under 30 demographic. I ordered a large hot orange osmanthus latte. With tax & tip, it was over $10! Thankfully it was distinctive and tasty, as one of their featured signature beverages. Driving back north from Capitol Hill then Ballard, I noticed that the "large" beverage did not have much heft as I sipped it. So when I got home, I measured out 12oz tap water and filled my empty cup. This felt heavier than the original hot beverage purchased. So please note, a large from Offline Coffee Company equals 12oz and not 16oz as with other indie cafes. Not much volume accounting for the milk foam. I am glad to check out and support an indie, Asian & women owned cafe (congrats Krystal and Lucy!). Great timing too during Lunar New Year. It is inspiring to see their vision come to fruition since their first IG post back in September 2025.

If you're looking for a coffee shop that truly understands vibe and branding, Offline Coffee is it. The ambiance is trendy yet timeless! The space is minimal, cozy, spotless, and incredibly well kept. Perfectly located in the cozier part of capitol hill just a block away from Harry's, this is the spot to go to after your brunch or before dinner or during your walk for good vibes. There's plenty of seating inside and outside, and every detail, from the décor to the cups and packaging, feels cohesive and on-brand in the cutest way. I also love that they offer both savory and sweet pastries. The pork barbecue bun was fresh and flavorful. The drink menu is also exciting because they even feature upcoming items with photos, which makes you anticipate and want to come back. I ended up getting the staff recommended latte with banana bread foam (since the matcha had a 30-minute wait due to a large crowd) which was really considerate of the staff in making sure I got to try the banana foam, i appreciate the flexibility and the hospitality. The banana foam flavor was on a lighter side and not overly sweet, overall super smooth and easy to drink. My friend got the chinese coconut latte with alt milk which was delicious as well! The owners and staff were incredibly friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Can't wait to come back and try more items from the menu :).

Osmanthus matcha latte, banana bread matcha latte
    Selina H.

I loved the osmanthus matcha latte!! The matcha was strong and the osmanthus flavor paired perfectly with it, without being too overpowering. The banana bread matcha latte was pretty good as well but just tasted like a banana milk matcha latte, so im not sure where the banana bread part of it is. The drinks are on the pricier side being almost $10 per drink, and the wait for them was about 20 minutes. The interior is quite small and doesn't have a lot of seating, but it's pretty aesthetic. There's very minimal street parking around too. Overall, this place has good matcha and friendly service, but finding parking or seats could be difficult

I stopped by offline about a month after their opening. They're still in soft opening mode. First off, parking is pretty difficult in the area as it's very residential and offline is the only food/drink shop in the area. Second, I appreciate that their menu has a Chinese influence especially since there's been a boom in Vietnamese coffee shops. I tried their three signature drinks to gauge my review. yuzu maple montblanc (cold brew): I honestly didn't know what I was drinking. The flavors that are in the name didn't really come through and this was my least favorite drink. I would not order this. Chinese coconut latte: I learned this drink is essentially a shot of espresso with the famous Chinese coconut palm lady drink. Unfortunately, I didn't really taste any coconut and this ended up being a plain latte. orange osmanthus latte: this was the star of the order and maybe the go to drink for offline. There's a nice osmanthus flavor with an essence of citrus. Unlike other shops that have osmanthus drinks, offline has the flavor within the drink and not just dry flowers on the top. Overall, I appreciate the new concept and cool interiors but I thought it was just okay. I definitely hope to see more competition in this space. As a fun side, everyone in my party had pretty bad cell signal so maybe that's why it's called offline? Anyway.

Thankfully they are open today on the Fourth of July (they will just close a little earlier for the holiday), and I was happy to see that not much has changed since my last visit. Without even realizing it, I ended up ordering the exact same drink I got the first time: a Matcha Float with mochi. I guess you really can't go wrong with it because it's still just as creamy and satisfying as I remembered. The only tiny downside is that it only comes with three small mochi balls, so for almost $9 I wish there were a few more. However, the quality of the matcha is consistently excellent, sooo I don't regret coming back. They have wonderful customer service too! The employee helping me at the register was incredibly patient while I stood there trying to decide what to order. As an awkward introvert, I always feel a little flustered when ordering, but she never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. She asked my sweetness preference for the Matcha Float, whether I wanted to dine in or take everything to go, and even carefully packed up my yuzu green tea packet with the rest of my order. She was very kind and thoughtful so just wanna say I really appreciate how welcoming she was. Even from my last Seattle visit two years ago, I still remember the employees being helpful and friendly here. I also have to recommend their desserts from my previous visit. (I skipped the sweets this time due to my budget but I still suggest picking up some of their sweets!). The Matcha Basque Cheesecake and the Matcha Tiramisu were both absolutely delicious, and I still remember how amazing they tasted even two years later. The tiramisu is only around $7 and is definitely worth trying if you're a matcha lover. This visit, I picked up their yuzu green tea packet to take home (last time, I got the hojicha). Each packet contains 15 individual tea bags and costs about $10 (not bad for how much tea is in each tea bag). They also sell matcha powder and other tea goodies. I'm looking forward to brewing the yuzu green tea at home since a good cup of hot tea is always comforting, especially when I'm sick (I've been recovering from a cold so tea has been a lifesaver to warm me up!). I actually stopped by for lunch since I didn't eat breakfast, and ordered the Sukiyaki Don (it was much more satisfying than I expected). I was craving a beef bowl and Nana's was one of the few places in the area within walking distance from my work, that was actually open for the holiday today, lucky me! It came with miso soup and a soft-boiled egg, and I was pleasantly surprised to find tofu and mushrooms in the bowl alongside the beef. It left me FULL, my tummy happy, heck yeah. Costs almost $20 but worth satisfying a craving. I won't lie.. I somehow managed to spend about $40 today between my meal, drink, and tea to take home. More than I intended to spend but no regrets, because everything was delicious and the quality has remained consistently high over the years. The only thing that made my visit a little uncomfortable wasn't the café itself. There were quite a few homeless individuals lingering around the front of the building, so I decided against dining out front like I had originally planned since I wanted to enjoy the nice weather, but one of them was panhandling me so I promptly left (thankfully I asked for my order to be packaged for takeout). That's obviously outside of the café's control, and it didn't affect the food or service at all. They still had many seats available inside but probably because it's the holiday. If I recall, the place was packed during the afternoon when I last visited on a weekday. I will still say that Nana's Green Tea continues to be one of my favorite matcha spots whenever I'm in Seattle. Between the consistently high-quality matcha, delicious meals and desserts, excellent selection of teas to bring home, and genuinely exemplary customer service, it's a place I'll happily keep returning to whenever I'm back in town and have the time to visit.

TBH, I actually thought they looked like little volcanoes, which is something I figured The Little One would enjoy. What we ordered: - Stroganoff: one of the popular items listed on the yelp page. The beef was rich, succulent and comforting, with a creamy, savory filling. The pickles added a bit of bright, tangy contrast to balance the richness. - Adjaruli, the classic version with cheese, butter, and egg. To me, this seemed like the plainest version, but I figured The little One would be more likely eat this because she hates anything that resembles a sauce or toppings. Both dishes were fantastic. The bread boat sort of reminded me of a pizza crust: crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, and perfect for tearing off and dipping into the cheesy center. The Little one did especially like the crust since she's a big pizza-crust fan. Surprisingly, getting her to eat the cheese and egg was tougher, as she usually likes those. I guess that's just being a kid? Inconsistent fluctuations of opinions and likings? The Mrs. and I happily finished everything she left behind. The restaurant itself is a small, casual spot with self-service kiosks for ordering and open seating. Nothing fancy, but it's efficient. We also appreciated that they had high chairs available, making it easy to visit with a child. We did see other families with kids there too. My only gripes: - once you've submitted your kiosk order, making changes isn't really possible. The staff is so busy going in and out of the kitchen, that you really don't have any opportunity to flag them down. We actually wanted to make one minor change to our order, but by the time I managed to talk to someone about it, she informed me that the order was already being made. - If you order coffee, you need to decide on cream, half-and-half, and sugar ahead of time, seemingly preset amounts. It's entirely prepared in the kitchen, not self serve, and you can't exactly customize to your liking. - Only forks were available. No spoons, no knives. Knives would have been helpful for cutting through the thicker bread crust. Those are very minor complaints, though. The food was excellent, the concept is unique, and the meal was memorable. Won't dock any points off there.

I had ordered and beeped my card only to find out 10-15mins later that my order didn't go through and I had to reorder. It wasn't necessarily anyone's fault, but if you order with a person this doesn't happen. Toilet is broken in restroom. But the FOOD! Was amazing. They serve only one type of dish, which is like a bread boat with cheese inside and or other filling. I got the one with spinach and cheese - it is enough for 2 ppl but I finished it on my own as a very hungry pregnant lady. We also got 2 more to go - one with beans and bacon (Lobiani) and the other with beef stroganoff. Both were delicious, although the beans & bacon one has a bit of spice. I would 100% recommend eating in person though, because everything is perfect and melty when it's fresh.

They sell themselves around being a holiday themed shop which isn't a bad thing, but when it's not the holiday season, the charm feels almost mismatched. All that to say, I love the idea, the space, and the vibes here but have often looked past it because of my perception with the branding. However, I will say their menu is great and the holiday joy is more of a supplement rather than a cover up or gimmick. I would comfortably visit Jollidaze for their drinks and get a working session. Wifi available, washroom (restrooms) available, and outlets available. Ube Phe Latte - rich, creamy, ube foam on top of a strong ca phe! There's also some ube milk, so a three layered drink. Both parts of ube were nutty, sweet, and paired with the ca phe amazingly. Strong Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk always hits but the ube mixture is a cherry on top. Up there with the other ube coffees around. Strawberry Matcha - honestly a simple no frills strawberry matcha. Smoothly whisked matcha, lightly sweetened strawberry puree, and a cup to be mixed in. Maybe more jam than other spots, which can help sweeten the drink and add some texture (chewiness), so might have to say above average.

As soon as I walked in, I noticed the selection of pastries, hot brunch items, and coffee drinks. The coffee tasting menu looked enticing. If I had more time to leisurely work or talk with company here, I would have opted to go this more adventurous route. However, I did end up trying one of their seasonal menu items - the Sakura Blossom Cloud Latte. I customized this drink with oat milk, even though the foam has to stay as dairy. The oat milk added a nutty creaminess that I particularly enjoyed. There were notes of the sweet Sakura syrup with a slight saltiness from the cream foam that gives the drink its perfect balance. It was a refreshing drink for a pick-me-up and they only had it for a limited time! My only thing is that I felt some coffee beans at the bottom that may not have been grinded as finely but other than that, the drink was amazing and I would recommend as a good backdrop for a spring walk!

They offer plenty of indoor and outdoor seating (note that pets are not allowed indoors). They have a great selection of hot brunch items, plus pastries and cakes. The whole place is modern and bright. The coffee tasting menu is unique, offering latte and espresso flights, and pour-overs. We tried the latte flight, which comes with four adventurous, creative flavors--including a miso latte! Overall, they were a bit on the sweet side for my taste, but very fun to try. The pour-over, however, was phenomenal: deep, rich, and full of berry notes. For food, we had: * Almond Croissant: Perfectly crispy on the outside. I loved that the filling was distributed all the way to the edges, so you get some in every single bite. * Chicken Avocado Salad: A wonderfully light meal featuring grilled chicken breast and a light dressing.
