This place is off the charts and amazing. The variety, quality, and the price. Plus the wonderful staff make it a homerun for me! Spotted in on Saturday when I was at the farmers market and it was a fast serving cafe. I believe it's owed by Slavic family. The food was very very fresh and delicious. For 4 people, we paid a little under $70. Personally, I would say that's a little pricy, since we only got 3 drinks and some desserts/ sandwiches. I stopped here for a latte and some pastries for the office because it was right off the highway. It was absolutely amazing. The mocha matte was perfect it tasted like a real mocha latte- not tons of fake sweetener like most places. The poppy seed bread was perfect along with everything else I got. Can't wait to be driving through the area again to stop there. And on top of that the girl working here was so nice and sweet, you rarely find people that nice these days. Cannot believe there wasn't a line out the door. We've been trying to avoid big box coffee shops and decided to give OfKors Bakery a try. The espresso was hand pulled, fresh ground LaVazza, and it was perfection. We tried a savory chicken bake pastry and a muffin, both were outstanding. They had us sample a couple pastries, and they were equally fantastic. I saw crepes on the menu and will be back to try those! We've found our new coffee spot! read more

Great coffee. Great pastries. Would have gotten five stars if the bathroom wasn't so gross. It was filthy. I didn't want to touch the door or the light switch because it never looked like it was washed. It was quite surprising because the front of the house was clean and inviting. Soooo good! So fresh and tasty. We had: potato roll w mushroom (yum), mushroom spinach quiche (nom), 2 cappuccinos (mmm), and best of all; farmers cheese and raisins veratuta and smoked salmon crepe! Will def be back!!! read more

This place is so cute! Bringing new life to the plaza. It is family owned and run. The owner is very sweet along with her children being so helpful and knowledgeable about the pastries. The food is fresh and delicious. We had a brownie ball and a pastry type thing that was delicious. We went back the next day for breakfast. The cappachino was amazing!! My boyfriend is a coffee snob. So when he loves it i know it's good! We had apple and raspberry crepe pastries with ice cream. They were delicious. Not too sugary which we appreciate! Most american bakerys are way to sugary for us. We love bring able to experience a european bakery right in the neighbourhood! We also got veggie quiche that was delicious. ofKors Bakery is a cute little spot in an unassuming location. They offer baked goods, both savory and sweet, ice cream, and coffee. OfKors is one of Sarasotas best kept secret! It's rare to find a bakery with that "home baked" touch. I found this gem of a bakery by accident and came back to try some other desserts. The crumb cake is very tasty and their red velvet cake is "to die for"....very impressed to say the least and will be returning to sample more delicacies. read more

I just discovered this amazing bakery. I thought I was in NYC or in Europe! Finally a bakery that's not a run-of-the-mill generic place. They don't have donuts here. They have every kind of pastry you can imagine! You can buy cakes by the slice or a whole cake. The chocolate rum cake was devine. You can have a cup of delicious coffee as well. This is a treasure!!!!! My three friends and I had eaten at a nearby restaurant and stopped in on a whim. We are all glad we did but the happiest person is my husband. I brought him a baklava and he enjoyed it so much I went back three days later for more. We also had a perfect cannoli and pastries. I brought a poppy seed braided loaf to my class and it was a great hit! The food is fresh and delicious! Best of all, the owner and her family are welcoming, friendly and a delight to speak with.
