Just outside the airport Free large parking Cute Germain bakery The food selection is amazing. Even traditional German pie made fresh at the bakery. Staff is super attentive and make sure the food is served to your preferences, warmed up is you want. Order at the counter and they will bring the food and drinks directly to your table. This is such a cute cafe with ample indoor seating and some outdoor seating. As soon as I walked in, I felt overwhelmed with the many pastry options (a good problem to have). The staff were friendly and eager to help me choose what I wanted. I've had their breakfast sausage pastry which was good but the only problem was the croissant to sausage ratio. I've also ordered their apple turnover and another savory pastry with an iced latte. Great coffee. Calming ambiance with the worship music in the background. This will for sure be my go to whenever I'm in Bradenton

    So many to choose from!

Can not say enough about this gem near the Sarasota airport! Pastries are amazing, flaky, fresh just the right amount of sweetness. My oatmilk sugar free latte was the best I have had in months!! (And I am a coffee snob) prices blew me away. I will be back!!!

Where to begin with this deliciousness of a place. They were really busy but they move you thru quickly and efficiently. It's a cute little German bakery with amazing coffee. We were searching for a coffee shop on the way to meet up with family and this place far exceeded our expectations. This place is tucked inside a little strip mall by the airport. Food: Strawberry pastry had a cream cheese center surrounded with a flakey pastry and topped with fresh strawberries and a drizzle of icing. It wasn't too sweet and perfect for a warm day. Do wish the strawberries were sliced thin in order to have some with each bite Cuban pastry everything you expect from a traditional Cuban wrapped up beautifully in a flaky buttery croissant type pastry. This may be my new favorite way to eat a cuban. Pepper egg pastry had tons of bell peppers and scrambled eggs inside yet again a flakey pastry. Well seasoned and easy to eat Iced Caramel mochiatto was smooth and not too sweet balanced perfectly Cold brew was absolutely amazing and smooth wish I would have ordered a bigger size. Overall will definitely come back here again when in the area.

There seem to be a language barrier and our order did not come out right the first time. The sauerbraten was ok. The schnitzel was delicious. The lunch was a little pricey.

This is a wonderful little coffee shop . Large selection of breads, pastries and coffee. Family run! I had the Cuban which was delicious. Flakes and flavorful. Husband had a cherry pastries which he said was great too. Coffee was perfect for my taste. Oat latte, iced. Wish we lived closer, it would be my new favorite place.

Solid 4 stars code shop with bakery. This cafe located next to Sarasota airport and Ringling museum. Not many coffee shop around that area. The bakery has many choices. It includes fresh baked of the day. I have the cold brew coffee. The cost is affordable compared to Starbucks or McDonald.

At home, I eat European-style bakery bread every day so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find good bread while vacationing in Sarasota. Fortunately, I found this wonderful bakery before we arrived and we went the first morning for the multigrain bread. Delicious! We also had a jelly donut, a spinach and ricotta pastry, and pretzels. All were excellent. While we were in Sarasota we visited a friend who grew up in Austria and we brought Apfelstrudel for dessert. He loved it and he is picky about authenticity of German/Austrian food. They have a few tables inside and two tables outside. Our dog also enjoyed the dog treats that they gave her. People who work here are very friendly. We didn't try everything, but I would bet that all of it is excellent!

I will always Stan C'est La Vie in Sarasota/Lakewood Ranch. This location is always busy so get…read morethere early if you have your eyes on a specific pastry. Actually, just get there early anyway because the pastry items are fresher/better. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I typically skip trying to park next to it and just go to the garage and walk over. The service is more attentive than a typical French cafe overseas but not as on top of you as a typical place in the US. You can definitely order at the counter in French if you want to and I've had a waiter there flip between English, French, Spanish, and another language (maybe Romanian?) in one order. The sandwiches I've had were all lovely, and had a little side salad that could benefit from a better dressing (they serve an okay vinaigrette though). I've yet to encounter a single bad pastry - the elcairs, mousse cakes, and flaky pastries like chausson pommes are on par with the typical boulangerie/pattisserie in France and don't make me think US adaptation at all. Prices are reasonable.

If you want to be transported straight to a sidewalk café in Paris without leaving Sarasota, C'est…read moreLa Vie is the place. It's a small, quaint spot with an amazing atmosphere, but definitely be prepared to wait if you're coming for brunch it's very popular for a reason! The wait was absolutely worth it, though. I started with a cappuccino, and it was perfection rich, smooth, and exactly what you need to wake up. For food, the savory crepe was outstanding. It had that perfect authentic texture slightly crisp on the edges and soft in the middle. I also tried the cauliflower soup, which was a surprising highlight. It was incredibly creamy and flavorful honestly, one of the best soups I've had in a long time. Highly recommend this gem if you're in the area!
