I came in as a client for a 30 mins facial and I was anxious about sanitation the whole time. Half the people wore their mask wrong including the girl that did my facial. She was breathing on my face while she was doing my facial. It was gross. I'm also unsure if she washed her hands before she touched my face because we came from consultation of my skin. The facial itself was great to get a massage but she just did cleanses, toner, and moisturizer. I could have done all that at home. I was expecting a facial that was different than one I could do at home by myself. read more

Y'all I can't begin to tell you about my wonderful experiences at Olga, Preston. I started going in the evening and all my visits are pleasant. Dominique has been doing my hair and she does it just how I want it. The color is perfect and the style is too. Last Thursday, I came in and Domonique was not there. I started to wait until she got back coming another day. After careful consideration I decided to let someone else do my hair. It wasn't like Dominique would touch up and style. My hair was wet when I left because we ran out of time. Domonique's hair is very similar to mine, so she's had mega practice. If it's not too far, I plan on following her when she graduates. I live in Rockwall, Texas and it's quite a bit of ways to even get to Olga, Preston. I'm 70 and do as much driving as I use to. By the way, Cherish is my favorite instructor at night. I've observed her working well the student. It appears the students really like her too. I've sat back and observed and Cheris is very thorough when explaining techniques to students. I've been to this location twice and have had great experiences with haircuts and styling. The stylists are serious about taking care of you and are as professional as those at any salon that I've ever been. They genuinely care about getting it right. I've been to many high end salons over the years and in my opinion, this is a real value. As long as you remember that getting you out the door fast isn't their objective, and you allow them the extra time that's sometimes necessary, I think you'll find that their low prices make it more than worth the wait if you have some down time. read more

She listens to me, she makes salon visits fun and an experienced instructor is nearby for necessary input. I don't even know where to start. This school is just terrible & don't waste your money enrolling please. Ms. Cynthia definitely needs to be fired all she does is gossip about other students to her own students, borderline bullying any student she doesn't like or treats them differently because they don't want to put up with her mood swings & treat her like a queen. She has made students cry & quit coming to school, then she gossips with the other students about how "lazy and unmotivated" they are when shes the issue. I've seen it happen time & time again with multiple phases. This has been brought up to the Director multiple times by many many students & it gets brushed off. Not to mention shes teaching things in the wrong order & she refuses to just fix it & get over herself. Now with the school itself, the towels and sheets are stained, ripped up and just in horrible condition but the school won't buy new stuff, why? idk. I graduated in 2024 & i'm just gonna say i hope things have changed for the better, during my time there it was absolute hell. You just definitely don't get what you're paying for, in any aspect really. i hope things have changed for the better, i wonder if the owner of Ogle knows how this specific school is structured & how it's ran & the attitude of the people that work there. Totally horrid experience a few months back. Went in for a color and flat iron. The student I was given was white. Nonissue there but I asked was she comfortable doing African American hair. She said she was. Instructor was there to assist initially. I have thick long 4c hair. The wash was ok but then came the detangle. It took about and hour to detangle maybe a 4th of my hair. She was pulling and raking through my hair and the instructor was no help. Then she got frustrated and started to complain about how thick my hair was. Other African American students asked to assist and the instructor said no it was ok. No it was not okay. It was so bad I said forget it after hour two mins you not half way done and the student was over it. So I said f it got up and paid for the mess you see below. So at checkout the head instructor insured me the student was capable and asked that I give her another chance. I'm literally in tears at this point but ok got there at 9 it's not what 12:30. Like an idiot I agree as the head instructor will assist and she's African American. If I tell you this girl is pulling tugging at my hair and we hit 3 pm and they were nowhere near done. I said I had to go to the bathroom and walked out. I have never in my life had such a bad hair experience. I was honestly trying to save some money. No ma'am never again. I will pay and suck it up. Went right to the Jc penny hair salon the next day was in and out in an hour and maybe 20 minutes no pain, no complaints about my hair no messed up attitude. read more

I went in for a trim. I got a full cut, that is so cute and much to my surprise, cuts were half price! I couldn't believe I paid $6 for a professional cut! I've been going to Ogle for years. I always get great service. The students do a really good job and the watchful instructors step in when needed. I love that instructors are hands on when necessary. I usually go to the Denton location, but I thought I would give this one a try. I called to set up an appointment for eyelash extensions. I went in on Thursday evening August 24th. The girl told me that she was going to do eyelash clusters. I told her I wanted extensions but she said they only had the lashes for their mannequins. Which would fall off really fast. She pushed the eyelash tabbing. I thought I would give it a try since she said they would last longer. I paid $65 for this process. They fell out the next evening (Friday 8/25). Barely over 24 hours. Ridiculous. I have been getting lash extensions for over a year. I know how to care for them. I noticed when I was there that they did not have a teacher coming around to check the progress. They did not have a teacher checking the work at the end. It was just very unorganized. I am really upset that I paid $65 for 25 hours of lashes. And I did not get what I wanted and made the appointment for which were extensions. read more

A great service for the price! This was my first time here. I got a basic trim (which included shampoo and a blow dry). For $11, it was a steal! It does take longer than salons with real professionals (my cut took about an hour and 15 minutes). Unfortunately you can't tip with card, only with cash or through Venmo/CashApp/etc. to the stylist. read more

My entire experience was less than unsatisfactory. First off, the location was sketchy. The second I walk in, I immediately got bad vibes. The lady at the front desk was giving me attitude the entirety of our exchange. She told me to take a seat, and so I did. I waited for over 15 minutes and no one came to get me. The hair cuts are great, the color treatments are great, and the costume service is great! I have really enjoyed coming into Ogle even though it may not be speedy quick just to get a trim it is certainly worth the time. The stylists take their time to find out exactly what you want and they execute it tremendously! I came in during November for color all over and it didnt turn out precisely how I had pictured but it was nonetheless beautiful. I still received compliments and the color has lasted so long. Just recently I came in to get my hair trimmed with my mom and we both had very good experiences! No complaints and smiles through the whole process. 10/10 recommend read more

I went in at 1:30 to get a wash and dry. I didn't leave until 5:30. The young lady who did my hair informed me that she was a level 2, to which I was not bothered by at all. She was a doll. Thank you so much Ari. The instructor is where I had the problem. There was obvious bias in the way she treated her versus the other students. She advised her wrong from the beginning. Ari was detangling my hair like she should have before washing when Cynthia rudely called her out and told her to wash my hair. Of course the water made the problem worse, adding 2 hours to my visit. There was no question she did it on purpose. I'm a black woman and I noticed that the colorism ran deep with Cynthia. There was no doubt she got a kick out of seeing her struggle. My heart broke for Ari. She offered to help other students, but was quite nasty and sarcastic to Ari. Do better. read more

Tywana T, is an amazing stylist with an infectious personality. If you need a great stylist who will listen and be attentive to your needs, book an appointment with her. The other staff members and stylists are also friendly and the atmosphere is great from the time you walk in the door to the music selection as you are getting pampered. I had an amazing time here! Tywana trimmed and styled my hair for me. She was very patient with me and asked me lots of questions to make sure I liked everything with my hair. I'm so glad my daughter is out of that environment as it stressed her out daily. I went in for partial highlight - the did a bad job on my "highlights,". I wanted a bright blond. l never could tell with wet hair where the blond was. Then they did an all-over toner. I ended up with a dark blond/ light brown hair color with no depth. I went back for color correction 2 weeks later & the instructor told the student to put allover very light blond where my partial highlights would've been - it turned yellow/orange. Then, afterward, she took the towel off & I completely freaked out. The instructor put a different toner on my hair for 40 min. It got rid of most yellow/orange, but there's still prominently orange by my hairline & on either side of my part. I need it fixed before Christmas & they refused to get me in... even if an instructor needed to help. Ruined once, ruined twice... and nobody there offered to try to fix the orange by my hairline/temples before seeing friends & family at Christmas Do not get your hair done here! read more

I refused to give them a rating, but yelp said I had to select a star (0). I came to Ogle School years ago. Had a great student, but lost contact with her. I came back last year 2022 for simple pixie styles. The styles were ok but never what I requested. Tonight I decided to return for a simple flat style with little to no curls required (see pictures) . It was so simple, I just knew they could handle it. To ensure it turned out straight and flat as I desired, I paid for a relaxer. As a result, my hair looks ABSOLUTELY horrid and there is no excuse for what happened. As a matter of fact, an instructor did my hair. She said she knew it wasn't right and that it needed to be remolded. But instead of doing the RIGHT thing after acknowledging that my hair was wrong, she turned it over to the guy there. "Mr. Cedric Brown" said very funkily and unprofessionally that the students were gone, they were closed and I couldn't get a refund because the cash register was closed. I said the instructors were there and he said the instructors don't style hair they just assist the students. AGAIN, it was an instructor that did my hair‍... Yes, I paid approximately $60, but it was mine to pay. And if this is how the "Instructors" act, then I'm not sure how professional the students will be with their future clients. No matter the issue, professionalism and customer service males a great difference! One thing for sure, I CERTAINLY WILL NOT RETURN. Look at my photos and you tell me...
