Oh dumplings is oh so good! Although I didn't order the namesake, I went for the pork bing. As one of few and far in between Chinese places in the area, this one quickly takes the cake for me. The bing was eggy, fluffy, crispy, saucy, and filling. I couldn't even finish my single order. It does take a while for the food to come out which I could tell started to annoy some patrons. Aka, I'd bookmark this place for another day if in a hurry. I'm def keen on coming in another day to try other menu items. Congee, cucumber salad, and the oh! dumplings themselves :). read more

Yum! We checked out this spot during their soft opening. The veggie dumplings were great, including tofu and a mix of soft and crunchier fillings. The dipping sauce was also really good, with a bit of vinegar to balance it. We also shared a bing, which was a great balance of crispy, soft, eggy, salty, and a tiny bit sweet. The prices are also low given the quality of the food, so it's a great deal! We did wait a little longer than I might have expected, but everyone was nice and I didn't mind. I'll be back soon to try other menu items and see if they speed up their service as they get fully up and running. And I agree with the other review that some music would be nice! read more

Was excited to try this place, but was quite disappointed. We got dumplings, the spicy Sichuan cold noodles, and the Cong You noodles. The Cong You noodles are basically soy sauce mixed with noodles and a few cucumbers. The spicy Sichuan cold noodles weren't any better. I could've just made everything at home. read more

Not only was the food delicious--the shrimp Bing crepe-like sandwich was tasty, fresh and flavorful--but the people who work there couldn't have been nicer. Once, what feels like a million years ago (maybe 8), I spent a few weeks in China where I had a very difficult time figuring out what to order and eat (made more difficult by my vegetarian preference and lack of communication skills). One thing that sustained me during my time there were the Bing sandwiches which I had discovered during the second half of my trip. I ate much better after I found these vegetarian (crepe, egg, sauce) breakfast sandwiches which I consumed every morning at a very rapid pace. They were oily and greasy and cost the equivalent of 25 cents and were the best thing ever. I was super excited to discover these same sandwiches (sold for slightly more than a quarter) at Oh Dumplings. They also have vegetarian dumplings! And meat stuff too for the rest of you. A true test of customer service is to come in two or three minutes before closing time and see how they treat you. I have been in this industry for over 20 years and trust me, it can sometime be frustrating when you are almost finished packing down for the night and a customer comes in. When I came into Oh Dumpling at 8.58, they greeted me with a smile and were more than happy to cater for my hunger. When handing out the food, they were just as courteous and wished me a good night. Every experience I have had here has been positive, which is one of the reasons why I keep coming back. So... if you have never had a bing, do yourself a favor and grab one! They are amazingly tasty and Oh Dumplings does the best I have had in NYC. The dumplings are brilliant too and also the mo is bloody good too. This place is fast becoming a favorite for me. Very simple layout being mostly a take out venue but it does have 3 or 4 seats on the window if you chose to eat there. The owner then called me, and let me know that the delivery guy never showed and he had had my order ready. He said to come by any time and try their food and that I would not be disappointed. I love their dumplings so much and their dumplings are different than the usual dumplings that you get from dumpling spots. I mainly get their veggie dumplings which I think are top notch and flavorful filled with kale, tofu, zucchini, mushrooms and carrots. I've tried their regular bings and they are also something that you should get if your up for something savory with a hint of sweetness. They've definitely perfected the construction of their bings from when they first opened to now and they are pretty filling. They have a few seats at the front but it's a small space and you would prefer to get takeout or delivery, trust me. I've never had an issue with any of their orders and the food is always nice and hot when it arrives. They have added more items and variety to their menu which have been great. I've also had the Cong You noodles which to me wasn't anything special but why not. Add some chili oil and have some dumplings and you have yourself a nice meal. It's definitely one of my favorites for a quick dinner on a weekend night. 3.5 based on what I ordered! I got the spicy pork wontons which were quite good. They got the ratio of the toppings correct, and this comes closest to the bliss of White Bear wontons since moving out of Queens. I also got the chicken congee which did the job, but it's more watery and not as rich as I like it (which can come down to preference; no 1000 year eggs in it though). Last but not least I got the braised beef noodle soup, which wasn't what I expected. The broth is quite salty but it has nice flavor, and there's a good portion of beef. However, instead of the usual bok choy and other toppings that braised beef noodles usually have, this had mushrooms, celery, and carrots for veggies. Having bok choy helps cut through the heaviness of the soup usually, and I wasn't a fan of the change. I would order the wontons and try their dumplings again, but I would def skip the noodles. read more

Sadly I can not recommend because of today's delivery experience with oh dumpling. The delivery never showed up. I was called by the delivery person who asked me to meet him at a Gas station. I could not comply because I run a business nor did I think it was safe to meet this person far away from my office. I called asking to be refunded for the order that never arrived.
