They were super accommodating, communicative, and they took the best care of our two dogs (who can be needy and a little high maintenance). One dog is a blind senior and the other one is a little anxious due to being a rescue. Each sitter took the time to make sure our pups were comfortable with them and followed the directions we laid out. They sent updates and pictures after every visit, which significantly calmed the helicopter pet parent in me. Special shoutout to Kennedy who became best buds with my usually shy, slow-to-warm-up dog! This was an amazing option to have instead of putting our dogs in boarding (which we all would have been unhappy with). They are great at providing mix-and-match options to keep cost in mind. Now that I no longer live in my old place or in the area, I feel more comfortable writing this…read more Jeremy walked my dog for a few months after I moved to San Diego. He did a fine job, and I didn't have any major issues. My only issue in the beginning was that he told me AFTER our meet and greet that the time clock for walks starts when he walks into the building. I showed him the entrance closer to my place (which is right by the entrance), but he wasn't using that one at first. While I had wished that he communicated this during our meet and greet, I wasn't upset by it after we had established a steady routine. A few weeks/months after I settled into my new job, I had been granted the ability to work from home full time with a few occasional sporadic days in the office. I texted him to tell him that I won't need a walker after a certain date and explained that I'll be WFH. I even told him that I'd still like to reach out on days I'd have to be in-office. Later that day, he called to "ask" me what he did wrong. His tone was extremely confrontational and aggressive. I reiterated that I don't need a walker anymore because my situation had changed. He kept demanding an explanation. Honestly, I felt really put off by this. I had to tell him several times that it's because the situation had changed and it took multiple attempts to get him off the phone. He kept trying to push me because he didn't seem to believe me. Honestly, I don't care if he did. Before this conversation, I probably would have asked him to walk my dog on the days that I'd be in the office, but this made me so uncomfortable. Over the period of several months, he occasionally texted and/or called to ask me if we had any dog walking needs. I didn't answer, but eventually texted him to tell him that we did not. I understand his wanting a "reason" to try to improve. However, I gave him a reason. And even if I didn't, I don't necessarily owe him one to the point where he has to demand one repeatedly.

Until now, we hadn't had any major issues. Today, we had an appointment specifically for the rabies and parvo vaccines. After we got home, our dog vomited five times in a row. We called the clinic, and they had us come back in, where he was given two more injections to address the side effects. While on the way back, I reviewed the invoice and noticed that four vaccines had been administered, not just the two we had scheduled. When I asked why this wasn't communicated, the response was, "Next time, clarify which vaccines you want when you check in." I had already done that. The appointment was booked for two specific vaccines, and I clearly mentioned both at check-in. I was then told they automatically give all due vaccines unless otherwise instructed. If that's their policy, it was never clearly explained to me and I plan to review our past vaccination records to verify the vaccines were actually due. To top it off, we were charged $82 for the extra shots to counter the side effects caused by their lack of communication, bringing the total cost of today's visit to over $300. This visit left us feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. Lack of transparency, poor communication, and a refusal to take ownership of mistakes cost them our trust and our continued business.

Dr Johnson examined her slowly on the floor, talking to her, introducing herself before jumping straight into prodding and poking. I felt like she listened to our concerns and gave sound, reasonable advice for our elderly girl. The prices were very reasonable to me. Especially after visiting a recent vet we didn't like at Poway for 1 thing and being charged $200 more than we paid today despite addressing multiple complaints today. They were also quite transparent with their prices online. I actually liked our vet visit today rather than leaving stressed and dissatisfied. I am planning to switch our other dog's care over to here too once she's due for her annual visit. We have moved around a lot in the 13 years I've had my dog and this is in my top 2. I'm so glad I found this new vet near me!

Angela is the most dedicated, trustworthy, and caring dog walker. She cared for my golden retriever puppy daily while I was t work and couldn't have done a better job. I would get text messages daily and pictures letting me know how each visit went which I loved. She has a love for animals and I feel like she treated my dog like she was her own. I never have to worry about my dogs being alone or unattended- my mastiff has separation anxiety and has ripped up her bed in her crate, eaten the wood on the coffee table etc. I know she's completely comfortable there and hasn't felt anxious or ruined anything of Annie's when I'm gone. Wish I could give this place less than one star…read more Let me start by saying that I had taken my dog there since 2014 and Diane was good, but in the last year she's become increasingly less attentive and sloppy in her pet care. I recently returned from a two week overseas trip and my dog had a very bad scratch on his cornea. By Diane's own admission she had seen him with this for "four or five days" - (I have this documented in email) When I picked my dog up he was clearly in pain and not even able to open his eye. I am always only an email away and Diane always had my permission to take my dog to the vet even if it's a wasted visit. Because she didn't, the eye got infected and he had no sight for nearly two weeks. It's now been almost a month and the damage was so severe, he's still on antibiotics. The vet said this must have been extremely painful for him. What dog person does this to an animal?? The first thing the vet did was give him a shot for he pain. When I asked Diane about why she waited she became immediately defensive and said my dog was no longer welcome there. This was fine, I would never entrust someone so careless with my dog again. This dog caregiver is burned out. Some weeks prior I caught her shoving dogs in her car, fully impatient and saying: "I wish I didn't have to do this f--g job." I get it. Many people have gotten into jobs they hate, or had a job burn them out. The thing is know when to get out. I would think twice before leaving my dog here. I have pictures of this eye injury which I will try to post with this review. Anyone wishing to see these can contact me privately. EDITED post the response from the caregiver. I feel that a good caregiver would KNOW when a dog was injured. If you've ever had a cornea scratch, you know how painful that can be. She also said that she didn't notice the eye was red, but it was very blood red when I picked him up. She did tell me I could no longer bring my dog there, but I had not asked her for future care. When I confronted her on the eye issue, her response was "your dog is no longer welcome here." I have emails verifying this conversation. Good luck, if you decide to use her.

She is attentive and careful, only allowing zero-aggression dogs in her home. Her in-home daycare is kennel-free, safe and fully fenced, lots of places to run around, gorgeous well-maintained front and back yard, lots of shady areas to sniff and play. She even has an air-conditioned are for hot days! Pretty sure you can't beat her prices either, totally reasonable and worth every penny. My Frenchie has separation issues, she doesn't like being alone and just wants belly rubs and love. Diane thinks its cute and makes sure my Frenchie gets the love she desperately craves. Diane is a lovely, kind and caring person and I trust her implicitly. One of the other reviews says "finding Diane was a true gift to me and my dog" and I couldn't agree more.
