The service was friendly, professional, super courteous and quick. I went to a Saturday festival on Hollins street and Oh Honey on the Bay was there. The outdoor venue is very cute and a nice vendor setup. Cute place to hear your local artists music. I ordered the Funky Fish Sandwich that I always see on social media and it was amazing. That sandwich did not disappoint at all. I waited 10 minutes for it to be cooked fresh and it was hot, fresh and crispy. The Wonderbread sandwich roll was soft and the fish was seasoned perfectly. She asked me if I wanted everything and I told her yes and she put Old Bay, honey, hot sauce. ketchup, and mayo on my fish sandwich. Who knew that's what my fish sandwiches always needed. That sandwich was so delicious and I can't wait to come again and try the shrimp.

Between the mouth watering videos on Instagram and the viral buzz with the Keith Lee visit, I knew I wanted to give Oh Honey on the Bay a try. It appears the best way to know their business hours and ordering process is to give them a follow on Instagram. You can preorder or show up during their business hours. I decided to preorder. I ordered the funky fish sandwich with sweet shebang shrimp, fries, soda and no nanna pudding. You DM your order on IG , they send you their cashapp info you pay on cashapp and then send confirmation of payment via DM. The food is made to order upon arrival so when you get there you inform them of your order they give you a number and then you wait for your food to be prepped. They said they would be there 1p-4p. We got there around 1:13pm and they were still setting up. While we waited they had music playing and they were also serving us moscato and or tequila as we waited in line which was a nice touch. All of the staff looked happy to be there and were very nice. They interacted with everyone positively which I liked. Even with us preordering we still waited about an hour for our food. The fish sandwich is deep fried swai topped with honey, old bay, hot sauce and mayochup on a Hawaiian roll. The shrimp had sweet chili sauce on it and the fries were crinkle cut and crispy with ketchup on top. The meal was delicious and filling. I finished it in two sittings. The no nanna pudding was the perfect sweet treat to compliment the meal. The food is tasty, fresh and affordable. Customer service on point and I definitely recommend.

The ambience is very cute - there are multiple floors to the restaurant so one given area doesn't feel overly crowded. The cocktail menu has some fun and unique options and the food menu has something for everyone! We got the mussels to start, and honestly I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture. But the sauce was delicious and I loved the potatoes that came with it. The mussels themselves were very large too! For my main I got the hake, which was so tender and flavorful. It was a generous portion and I was stuffed, but we kept seeing other people order the coffee cake and couldn't help ourselves. I'm so glad we got it, because I'm not normally huge into coffee cake, but this was so delicious that we finished it all! Our server had great recommendations and was patient as we took a long time deciding what to order. I can't wait to come back!

The oysters were so delicious and the lobster rolls were just as good. You can tell this place has a lot of history behind it, and I love the location too. It's such a vibe to sit here with a lobster roll. Their fries are also delicious -- I asked for aioli even though it doesn't come with them originally, and their housemade aioli was so worth asking for. Highly recommend doing the same! And again, apparently BTS booked the whole place out for a day!!! That should tell you everything. Would absolutely come back.

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY. There was an hour wait but we were able to find a high table in the bar area. I ordered the crab pretzel, which is an app that is worth sharing. Very much a sharing size portion. The pretzel is sliced in half with stuffed with crab meat, topped with cheese! So YUMMMMMMMMMY. Pretzel was hella soft and still soft after I reheated it in the microwave (we had leftovers). I ordered the fried shrimp and my boyfriend ordered the stuffed shrimp. We both enjoy our dishes and didn't order any drinks. This place is kinda expensive but of course, it's seafood with an amazing view of the harbor. Despite being busy, our waitress was efficient and it also was helpful that other staff stepped in as well to service folks.

Service is not rapid, likely due to having full house and turnovers, and had to remind twice for our bucket of beers. Service was perfection. The interior has a great dark wood/chandelier, old-school bar vibe and comfortable seating without it being too noisy when packed. There is some signage about the poet himself. We started of with the "cheese dip" which is an interesting way to describe a pretzel appetizer. But boy howdy, the cheese dip was enormous, which complemented the salty, buttery pretzels perfectly. The stuffed lamb was pretty reasonably priced and came with spinach and potatoes. Both that and the strip steak were a bit heavy on the sauce though, but otherwise, great dishes. Don't forget to swing by the bathroom. I just really like the posters in the hallway. The bathrooms were nice though. Overall, this is a reasonably-priced, inviting atmosphere, and tasty good. Great spot for the area.

Given Koco's crab cake platter during their dinner service will set you back about $50, I've been hesitant to spend that amount of money for just one 8oz. crab cake. So I decided to give them a try during their lunch hours where you can get a 6oz. crab cake platter for about $30. I ordered in advance and popped into the brightly colored, tropical themed restaurant which was bustling on a Friday afternoon. My pickup was quick and the service was nice. I of course had to sneak a few fries while on my ride home, and they were perfectly crisp and well seasoned. Once I made it home I dived into the beautifully broiled crab cake and I immediately understood why Koco's is know as one of best crab cakes in the area. Full of lump crab meat, seasoned to perfection, and not wet in the center. All things I consider in a good crab cake.
