Worth the wait! Delicious fish sandwich, sweet Triple Mix, and the friendliest service at this Black-owned Baltimore gem. The food was fresh, crispy, and full of flavor -- definitely worth the wait. You can taste the seasoning and care in every bite. The famous Triple Mix drink was the perfect sweet finish. The staff was friendly and patient even with the long line, and the energy inside was pure Baltimore -- good vibes, good people, and a family feel.

Cheese Fish Sandwich

Ok so the fish sandwich is def good. I got 2 and they messed up and put extra onions on the wrong sandwich, but no biggie. I ate the entire sandwich and surprisingly I wasn't food pregnant cause it's a nice size sandwich. It's just not worth the HOURS people stand outside for. My wait time was appx 1hr. I'll be back easily when it dies down.

I fed into the hype and had to check them out, but I was strategic! I went to The Gift just as the rain was slowing down. There was only about 5 people out less in front of me. I was right at the door. I ordered the viral fish sandwich abs French fries with gravy. The fish was REALLY good. It was so well seasoned and it was in a soft bun. The fries were regular but that gravy...OMG! That gravy was so good that the other food had to be amazing. I've heard the stories about people waiting 2-3 hours. I waited less than 45 mins total abs or didn't seem that long because of the friendly people in line. I would definitely go back if the line ever goes down! Pack your patience abs give them a try!

Cheese Fish Sandwich w/ Mayo, Tartar Sauce, Lettuce, and Fried Onions on a soft bun.

Overall, the food was good and reasonably priced at $17. The cheese fish and fries were tasty, but the flavors were pretty simple--something you could easily make at home. There wasn't a unique sauce or seasoning that really set it apart. I'd order from here again if the wait times were reasonable, but it's not worth waiting two hours for.

I love this place!! I had to wait a while to get my fish sandwich but it was worth it!! Support black restaurant!!

One word: YUM! I'm…read morefrom Texas so I like to think I have high standard for BBQ. This place came recommended by a close friend. This establishment was featured on Guy Fieri's show and has a sandwich named after him. This is side information, but I usually side eye his recommendations because one time I tried a place that he featured and the food was absolutely disgusting. However, this place was absolutely Yum. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cashier lady super cute and was helpful with recommendations. I got the pit beef sandwich with mac & cheese. The mac & cheese somewhat reminded me of the mac & cheese at this place called Luby's in Texas. It was pretty active on a Sunday evening, but the service was really fast. I may be waited 10 minutes or so. An important note is that all your toppings you put on yourself after you pick up your food. I recommend as a native Texan who loves barbecue.

Ok, so I have to say I was WAYYYY excited to come here because they have been featured on so many…read moreshows and my little family of 4 was WAYYY disappointed. They did have a variety of BBQ sauces to try out so you can dip your meats with. That to me is always fun when I can try multiple sauces. Meat wise it did not fall off the bone. Now if you have ever been to Texas and had a true BBQ then you know how tender the meats can get. I was hoping for that type of experience but it just fell short for me to be honest. I was left wanting to be raving about it with each bite. They did have a steady flow of customers coming in and dining here and take out. So maybe I ordered the incorrect items. Ordered: * Pork Ribs *Cheese Fries -there's a lot of cheese, I just wished the fries were a bit more crispy instead of on the soft side. *Fish Platter - when I saw this on the menu, I thought it was fried catfish but I was wrong. It was more like fish nuggets. It came with fries which again I wished would be crispy. *Beef Pit Sandwich Very causal atmosphere. I honestly wanted to love this place but just truly like some of the other Yelp reviews of those who dined here who also didn't get the hype. I personally wouldn't come back but if you are curious about Chaps Pit Beef like I am, then I say give it a try. Tips: *Credit card accepted *They have their own parking lot. *Restroom available. *Fountain drink and BBQ sauces/condiments are all on the side for you to grab. *Indoor

This past Friday it was really chilly and my work colleague wanted some hot tofu soup. Not to mention this is one of the best Korean Pocha spots in the city, with a 70-80's retro street vibe features traditional Korean cuisine, Korean BBQ & other specialties. The wait staff was really nice and inviting. They were very knowledgeable about the various food options. It was really cool to hear catchy K-pop songs playing as week. The food is fire hands down. I went ahead and got the Teriyaki mayonnaise Cup Bap( rice bowl topped with the korean fried chicken, teriyaki sauce and mayo). So delicious, my friend got he soft tofu soup with seafood and we split a hot sake to share. I am still mad at myself that I have not come here sooner, I will definitely be back. Their fried rice dishes look amazing. I also love the price point here as well. For both of us it was $40 bucks. So if your in the station north area, please stop in. You wont be dissapointed SYOY

Maybe because there weren't a lot of dine in customers. The whole vibe of this place feels like a late night bar. The only drawback to this place is its location, but if you don't mind the graffiti...definitely worth a try if you want some good Korean food. Full disclosure, this place isn't in the best part of town. The neighborhood leaves much to be desired. I think next time we'll order take out.
