This spot is a hidden gem. I got the peach slushy and a potato corn dog dipped in sugar. The peach slushy was hands down the best slushy I've ever had. You could taste the fresh peaches in that slushy which was amazing. The corn dog was also fantastic. I'd love to give it higher as the Korean dog was good. It was tasty and a good size. So no problem there and the place was cute. Not much seating but not a big problem. The three stars come from a lack of dipping sauce and options there which is pretty key for this type of food and service speed. I understand they are newer and could get better but it's metered parking every where nearby. I put in 40 minutes and we made it back as it expired. This place delivers on quality and quantity extremely well! The vibes in the shop are positive and family-friendly. The hot dogs are always delicious, with sauces that add the exact flavor you're looking for. The prices are pretty cheap considering the end product. The eggy toast is easily the best I've ever had. Only two marks against this place: 1) it takes very long to get a single hot dog even when the place is empty, 2) the place can be so busy that it cannot fit the line or sitting patrons. I've seen this place for a while on tiktok and finally got the chance to try it. I have to say that it was very good. The sweet potato hot dog had cinnamon sugar added. It was sweet. Tasty. I could eat a whole bucket of the sweet potato topping. It was that good. Also ordered the mozza dog and the potato mozza dog. The way the cheese oozed out while biting into the mozza dog was picturesque. Sorry... no photo of it. The potato mozza dog was also good with the oeey goodness of the cheese with every bite of potato. I also ordered the avocado egg toast with the garlic bread option. That sandwich was basically an oversized slice of Texas Toast sliced to make a pocket for the egg and avocado slices. Toast was perfectly done. Toasted lightly but still soft on the inside. Egg perfectly cooked. Not burnt at all. Nice touch with the slices of avocado. If you go here, they have some untraditional options as condiments along with the basic Ketchup and Mustard. The dogs were very good and a good price. Only complaints is they gate-keep items that should be free-flowing at a restaurant. I asked for a cup of water and they said no, and we weren't allowed to dispense our own sauces or get sauces in separate containers. The egg sandwich was scrambled with nice bacon, I would have tried the garlic bread option if so had seen it while ordering, quite expensive for what you get. Their original corn dog does not have beef (they have a separate beef dog). If you get the egg toast, definitely add the garlic butter - a huge upgrade. Wow! Just WOW it was definitely worth the hour drive!! The gooey-ness of the mozzarella to the Panko crusting on the outside of the corn dog to the sugar...JUST WOW! Better in thought than execution. The corndog was over battered, making the sauces a necessity. However, the sweet sauces are aggressively too sweet. Better to go with the more savory options. The tteokbokki sit on an uncovered tray right behind the glass. They are completely dried out, overcooked, and aggressively chewy. None of the proper mouth feel you would want to get from authentic tteokbokki. The egg and cheese sandwich may have been its saving grace but it's killed by the red sauce that they place between the egg and ham. They should give an option as to whether you want it between your sandwich or not. Overall a very disappointing experience but it gets a 2/5 because it may be one of the only viable Korean options in New Haven. If you're craving for something better and more authentic, it may be worthwhile to trek down to Fort Lee, New Jersey if you have access or train down to Koreatown in NYC. read more

Wow! When I heard that this place opened in new haven, I couldn't wait to try it. I had seen a bunch of friends post about it on social media and I decided to give it a try. My favorites so far would have to be the half mozzarella/half hot dog and the potato hot dog with cinnamon sugar. Their slushes are good as well, but they are more on the sweeter side then expected. I still haven't tried the squid dog because it's pretty intimidating to me since I'm scared that it might taste bitter or something along the lines, but I did recently just try adding cinnamon sugar to a hot dog and like previously stated, it has become one of my favorites, so I'll have to try it soon! The only thing I didn't like was how the food tastes when It starts getting cold and just like any fast food job (I would know I have worked fast food), you will always find unhappy people everywhere in that industry whether it's a customer or a worker. Their sweet chili sauce isn't bad for hot dogs specifically, but I prefer the hot chili sauce. They recently added some new spices, so I definitely have to try that soon. I also recently tried some of the toasts and it's not really for me. To me it's unusually sweet for the ones I tried, but I still have to try the rest of them.
