Came here due to the high ratings and because Korean appealed to us tonight. Found ourselves in a mall food court, in front of a fast food booth. The main offering was chicken tenders or wings in four Asian sauce styles. Between ourselves, DW and I got ten tenders, fries, a bottled soda, and small cups of pickled purple cabbage... for $44! Took 10 minutes for the food to come out. To be fair, the tenders were large, and good quality chicken, and the fries were done right, so kudos to the booth staff. But as DW put it, "Dipping chicken tenders in soy sauce doesn't make them Korean." Given the grimy common tables and the constant shrieking of toddlers in the food court playspace, a food booth would have to go a long way to earn over three stars, and this experience didn't cut it. read more

I would have never expected a Korean fried chicken place to open up at Park Place Mall! As soon as I heard about Oh My Chicken, I drove to the food court. Their menu has a few exciting options besides the four flavors of fried chicken that they make to order. They have tteokbokki (Korean spicy rice cakes) and Korean drinks such as sikhey (Korean sweet rice drink) and mitsutgaru (Korean grain drink). The staff was extremely friendly and helped me make a selection. I opted for their fried chicken tenders coated in a honey soy sauce. The chicken was decent; it had a nice crisp exterior and paired well with the sweet coating. I enjoyed the side of pickled red cabbage that added some fresh acidity to the meal. However, I was less impressed with their fries. The fries were soggy instead of crispy. But despite this drawback, I plan to come back to Oh My Chicken to try their other flavors of fried chicken. SO GOOD!! I haven't tried it out before and it usually looks not busy, but I tried it one day and I was greeted with a super nice smile and I ordered the chicken mayo rice. This bowl was delicious, right portion, & not too bad of a price. The chicken was cooked perfectly and I can't wait to try this bowl again. I work in the mall and I loved eating at Oh My Chicken for my lunch breaks. But lately the chicken hasn't been sitting right with me. I never thought much of it, until every night when I pass by the food court I always saw them leaving right at closing time which made me quite weary some. I walked close to their counter out of curiosity and it was a MESS! Flour mixture on the ground all over the bottles they sell , fryers dirty, the trash was left over night, it seems as if they leave their restaurant dirty all night! And then maybe clean it up in the morning... I was disgusted! There was a dead cockroach as well on the ground. I wonder if the owner and the health department knows about how they leave their restaurant. All the employees already got in their cars and left for the night when I took these photos... Best wings I have had in Tucson. About a hour away from me and completely worth the trip. The wings are fried with a delicious crispy crunchy outside and a flavorful juicy inside. Soy and garlic sauce was perfect. Very flavorful but wasn't downing in sauce like other wing spots, which makes the coating soggy. If this was in my neck of the woods I would be there every week. I ordered the 4 Sweet Chili chicken tenders with some fries. It came out to $11 and change which is a fair price for the size. The chicken itself was fresh and cooked perfectly and the sauce had a great balance of sweet/spicy flavor. The fries were better than expected. This is not the same extra crunchy Korean chicken that I am used to in other cities, but it is definitely close enough to satisfy the craving. As long as they keep up the quality and reasonable price, I will happily come here every couple weeks. read more

This little place is in the food court of Park Place Mall, right next to Japanese place. The menu is very simple as expected. My son only wanted the regular fried chicken wings but it did come with 1 dipping sauce so he chose soy garlic. He did try the Korean rice drink and he enjoyed that. ( That rice drink is traditionally served in a bowl at the end of a meal kinda like a dessert drink in some Korean restaurants.) The chicken was cooked fresh to order so there was a 15-minute wait but it was piping hot. It was very good and had an interesting crunchiness distinct from usual fried chicken. The French fries, skin on, reminded me of Five Guys and were also very good. The pickled cabbage was not a favorite. Overall the experience was nice. Really nothing to complain about. If you like watching K dramas and want to eat the fried chicken the characters are often eating in those shows, give it a shot. read more
